Sinopsis

Trama
Esta primera entrega narra cómo esta única tripulación de Thundercats que logró escapar de la destrucción de Thundera a manos de los mutantes de Plun-Darr y su llegada al Tercer Planeta (nuestro planeta siglos después del apocalipsis). León-O, Panthro, Cheetarah, Tigro, Felino y Felina, aquí explican con detalle lo que ocurre con la cápsula de animación suspendida de León-O, algo que la serie animada omitió.

Con la muerte de su líder Jaga, el León-O quien debe tomar su lugar, pero a pesar de tener el cuerpo de un adulto, no tiene aún la madurez necesaria, pero deberá asumir el manto para que su especie logre sobrevivir al genicidio que sufrieron.
La espada de los Augurios es el único Tesoro que a estos Thundercats sobrevivientes les quedó de Thundera.
El cómic resalta lo engreído que es Leon-O y su deseo de probar a todos y a sí mismo que es el rey de Thundera, sin embargo esta prueba llega por sí sola con el ataque del mutante de Plun-Darr llamado Reptilio, esta batalla va a fracturar el ego crecido de León-O y va a despertar una fuerza sedienta del poder del Ojo de Thundera en la Espada de los Augurios.
Con mucha nostalgia y un ritmo narrativo acelerado, Declan no lleva a este universo de personajes entrañables con los que te puedes identificar, trayendo gozo y buenos recuerdo a los fanáticos originale sy siendo el punto de partida perfecto para nuevas generaciones, que van a deleitarse con el grito de batalla THUNDER-THUNDER-THUNDERCATS-HOOO.

La secuencia de León-O con la Espada de los Augurios es hermosa y nostálgica, así como el diseño de los personajes que rescatan aspectos de la serie animada original pero los refrescan. Solo falta ver qué hicieron con Snarf.
Como fanatico de esta serie animada que logre ver en la televisiones de antenas de bigotes en 1986, estoy satisfecho y emocionado con la manera en que este comic rescata todo lo que amo de los Thundercats.
Arte
Posee texturas que le brinda a los detalles un toque retro/vintage de comics de la década de 1980 pero al mismo tiempo ofrece un dinamismo genial con la cantidad de detalles que ofrece, con una paleta de colores hacia el pastel que sigue aportando este tono vintage.

Resumen
Como un trueno lleno de nostalgia y acción, los Thundercats regresan con una historia llena de ciencia ficción, magia, misterio y felinos con problemas humanos.

Synopsis

Plot
This first installment tells how this unique crew of Thundercats managed to escape the destruction of Thundera at the hands of the mutants of Plun-Darr and their arrival on the Third Planet (our planet centuries after the apocalypse). Lion-O, Panthro, Cheetarah, Tygra, Wileykit and Wileykat, here explain in detail what happens with León-O's suspended animation capsule, something that the animated series omitted.
With the death of his leader Jaga, the Lion-O who must take his place, but despite having the body of an adult, he does not yet have the necessary maturity, but must assume the mantle so that his species can survive the genocide that occurred. they suffered.
The Sword of Omens is the only Treasure these surviving Thundercats had left from Thundera.
The comic highlights how cocky Leon-O is and his desire to prove to everyone and himself that he is the king of Thundera, however this proof comes on its own with the attack of the Plun-Darr mutant called Reptilio, this battle goes to fracture Lion-O's grown ego and awaken a force thirsting for the power of the Eye of Thundera in the Sword of Omens.
With a lot of nostalgia and an accelerated narrative pace, Declan brings you to this universe of endearing characters with whom you can identify, bringing joy and good memories to the original fans and being the perfect starting point for new generations, who will delight in the battle cry THUNDER-THUNDER-THUNDERCATS-HOOO.
The sequence of Lion-O with the Sword of Omens is beautiful and nostalgic, as is the design of the characters that rescue aspects of the original animated series but refresh them. We just need to see what they did with Snarf.
As a fan of this animated series that I managed to see on old square television with antennas in 1986, I am satisfied and excited with the way in which this comic rescues everything I love about the Thundercats.
Art
It has textures that give the details a retro/vintage touch of comics from the 1980s but at the same time offers great dynamism with the amount of details it offers, with a pastel color palette that continues to provide this vintage tone .
Summary
Like a thunder bolt full of nostalgia and action, the Thundercats return with a story full of science fiction, magic, mystery and felines with human problems.
