Trama
Esta historia ocurre aproximadamente en la década de 1940 y es narrado por Lilith Appleton, la ama de llaves que se encargó de Helen cuando su padre , el conocido escritor de fantasía C.K Cole se suicidó y ella se mudo con 16 años a la casa de su abuelo, Barnabas Cole.
Lilith narra cómo la conducta autodestructiva de Helen con el alcohol la mantuvo inconsciente durante el primer mes en que se mudó a la inmensa mansión Wyndhorn. El único detalle es que Helen constantemente se iba a dormir acompañada de Lilith porque ella veía todas las noches monstruos en su habitación, al parecer no era efecto de sus borracheras.
Helen al recibir la herencia de su padre se volvió adinerada y toda esta vida de lujos era algo nuevo para ella, también era la oportunidad de beber sin control. Esta historia muestra el lado duro de un duelo mal manejado.
Pero algo extraño oculta esta familia y Lilith lo descubre con Helen de la manera más aterradora, en esta mansión conviven seres de otro mundo.
Este primer capítulo lleno de suspenso, misterio y comedia negra, resalta el poder femenino de Helen, quien extraña a su padre y sus historias.
Arte
Es muy orgánico y lleno de detalles hipnotizantes, cada panel te transporta a la década de 1940 con mucho realismo pero al mismo tiempo lo balancea con elementos fantásticos geniales.

Plot
This story takes place approximately in the 1940s and is narrated by Lilith Appleton, the housekeeper who took care of Helen when her father, the well-known fantasy writer C.K Cole, committed suicide and she moved into her house at the age of 16. grandfather, Barnabas Cole.
Lilith recounts how Helen's self-destructive behavior with alcohol kept her unconscious during the first month she moved into the sprawling Wyndhorn mansion. The only detail is that Helen constantly went to sleep accompanied by Lilith because she saw monsters in her room every night, apparently it was not an effect of her being drunk.
Upon receiving the inheritance from her father, Helen became wealthy and this whole life of luxury was something new for her, it was also the opportunity to drink uncontrollably. This story shows the hard side of a poorly handled grief.
But this family hides something strange and Lilith discovers it with Helen in the most terrifying way, beings from another world coexist in this mansion.
This first chapter, full of suspense, mystery and black comedy, highlights the feminine power of Helen, who misses her father and her stories.
Art
It is very organic and full of hypnotizing details, each panel transports you to the 1940s with a lot of realism but at the same time balances it with great fantastical elements.
Summary
Helen tries to drown out the grief of her father's death with alcohol, while she discovers shocking secrets about her family in this new comic miniseries filled with mystery and girlpower.
