Ghost Machine Productions lanza THE ROCKETFELLERS, de Peter J. Tomasi 

y Francis Manapul  que se basa en una familia desplazada en el tiempo, este cómic abre el universo de personajes FAMILY ODYSSEYS.

¿De qué viene?

¿Dónde están los Rocketfellers? Escondidos en el siglo XXI, allí es donde un incansable cazarrecompensas del siglo XXV continúa rastreando a nuestra familia renegada que viaja en el tiempo por todos los medios necesarios. Pero justo cuando la familia comienza a sentirse cómoda en su nuevo entorno, atraen la atención de una amenaza inesperada más cercana a casa...

Trama

Raina, la psicópata policía del tiempo sigue sin conseguir pista de los Rocketfellers, ella está experimentando una degradación temporal de su cuerpo a causa de tantos viajes en el tiempo, ella no le queda mucho tiempo, su desesperación es total.

La familia Rocketfeller busca establecer una rutina diaria que los mantenga en forma y mentalmente capaces, de manera que se preparen para poder ir a su era o de una posible redada de los soldados del futuro. Esta rutina también los hace pasar desapercibidos en la comunidad, el detalle es que ellos ejecutan actividades algo exageradas, que están despertando la curiosidad.

Roland sigue analizando ese ojo que al parecer esta cerrado pero contiene unos nano borgs, tecnología que hace que este ojo se empiece a regenerar sus tejidos. Aún no han dejado claro su importancia, pero es la razón de que esta familia está fugitiva. Roland habla con su hermano y conoce a su prometida, ambos sufren en la distancia.

Richie está inventando algo usando una impresora 3D, que de seguro lo meterá en problemas.

Rodney sale a trotar y todas las ancianas de la cuadra lo están acechando y persiguen, es como el soltero codiciado de la comunidad de la tercera edad.

Rachel sale a nadar en el lago gélido con una ropa especial, un vecino la descubre al intentar pescar en el agujero que ella hizo, ella está llevando sus actividad física a otro extremo, aparte de ser al pilota del helicóptero del tráfico en la ciudad y es posiblemente la mejor piloto de esta era y le da una lección al reportero que la acompaña.

Rae juega con juguetes imaginando que salva a su abuela de morir congelada.

Esta entrega se centra más en mostrar la dinámica familiar y como cada personalidad intenta adaptarse a este mundo que le parece de barbaros. Este comic encanta con esta narrativa tan dinámica y con una familia con la cual es fácil identificarse.

Arte

Lleno de detalles y muchas texturas que brindan un efecto orgánico interesante e hipnotizante, todo esto logra un tono futurista y algo terrorífico.

Resumen

Los Rocketfellers intentan adaptarse y crean rutinas  y sin querer están llamando la atención de la comunidad mientras el extraño ojo empieza a reaccionar y a regenerarse. 

Misterio, acción y comedia familiar.

What does it come from?

Where are The Rocketfellers? Hiding out in the 21st century, that's where, as a relentless bounty hunter from the 25th century continues to track our time-traveling renegade family down by any means necessary! But just as the family starts to feel comfortable in their new surroundings, they attract attention from an unexpected threat closer to home…

Plot

Raina, the psychopathic time police, is still unable to find a trace of the Rocketfellers. She is experiencing a temporary degradation of her body due to so many trips in time. She does not have much time left, and her desperation is total.

The Rocketfeller family seeks to establish a daily routine that keeps them fit and mentally capable, so that they are prepared to be able to go to their era or a possible raid by soldiers from the future. This routine also makes them go unnoticed in the community, the detail is that they carry out somewhat exaggerated activities, which are awakening curiosity.

Roland continues to analyze that eye that is apparently closed but contains some nano borgs, technology that makes this eye begin to regenerate its tissues. They have not yet made clear its importance, but it is the reason that this family is a fugitive. Roland talks to his brother and meets his fiancée, both suffer in this distance.

Richie is inventing something using a 3D printer, which will surely get him into trouble.

Rodney goes out for a jog and all the old ladies on the block are stalking him and chasing him, he's like the eligible bachelor of the senior community.

Rachel goes out to swim in the frozen lake wearing special clothes, a neighbor discovers her trying to fish in the hole she made, she is taking her physical activity to another extreme, apart from being the pilot of the city's traffic helicopter and she is possibly the best pilot of this era and she teaches a lesson to the reporter who accompanies her.

Rae plays with toys imagining that she saves her grandmother from freezing to death.

This installment focuses more on showing the family dynamics and how each personality tries to adapt to this world that seems barbaric. This comic enchants with this dynamic narrative and with a family with which it is easy to identify.

Art

Full of details and many textures that provide an interesting and mesmerizing organic effect, all this achieves a futuristic and somewhat terrifying tone.

Summary

The Rocketfellers try to adapt and create routines and are unintentionally attracting the attention of the community while the strange eye begins to react and regenerate.

Mystery, action and family comedy.
