Sinopsis

En el segundo capítulo de esta historia de viajes en el tiempo, se revelan oscuros y sangrientos secretos familiares mientras se explora el mundo de los Rocketfellers en el siglo XXV, respondiendo finalmente a las grandes preguntas: ¿Por qué la familia del futuro se esconde en el presente? ¿Por qué Raina, la hermana de Roland, persigue a su familia y deja morir a su propia madre? ¿Cómo logra esta familia fracturada reconstruir sus vidas destrozadas? ¡La respuesta a la última pregunta te dejará sin aliento! Trama

Este volumen explora el origen de Raina. Jacob es el dueño de Cronex, la empresa más grande y poderosa del siglo XXV, y su prometida es Raina, hermana de Roland y Reggie. Ella se encarga de la seguridad de la compañía: es una soldada letal, altamente eficiente y experta en espionaje industrial.

Raina mantiene una relación compleja con todos, especialmente con Roland, el científico líder en el desarrollo de la nanotecnología de Cronex, capaz de curar enfermedades, sanar heridas y prolongar la vida. Aunque Roland teme por las implicaciones éticas de este avance, Raina lo presiona constantemente para que concluya su proyecto.

Tras sufrir un terrible accidente que los deja al borde de la muerte, Roland se ve obligado a sobrepasar todos sus límites éticos para salvar a Raina y a Jacob. Al despertar, Jacob amenaza a Roland con obligarlo a terminar su curación y secuestrar a su familia. Ante esto, Roland y Rachel reúnen a Rae, Richie y Rodney para huir al pasado mediante el Time Zone Witness Program, un programa de protección de testigos administrado por Reggie, el hermano de Roland.

Durante la noche de Halloween, Raina finalmente da con el paradero temporal de su familia y los ataca. Roland accede a marcharse con ella bajo la condición de que no dañe a nadie, pero Raina, desesperada por salvarse junto a Jacob, está dispuesta a asesinar a quien sea necesario.

Para regresar al siglo XXV, Roland modifica el exoesqueleto de Richie con la promesa de terminar de curarlos allá mediante esta tecnología antiética. Sin embargo, todo es parte de una trampa: Roland hace que el exoesqueleto explote con ellos adentro, dejando en suspenso el destino del propio Roland.

Un volumen espectacular, cargado de emoción, suspenso y persecuciones, con un final que te dejará sin aliento.

Synopsis

Plot

This volume explores Raina's origins. Jacob owns Cronex, the largest and most powerful corporation of the 25th century, and his fiancée is Raina, sister of Roland and Reggie. She is in charge of the company's security: a lethal, highly efficient soldier and expert in industrial espionage.

Raina maintains a complex relationship with everyone, especially Roland, the lead scientist developing Cronex's nanotechnology, capable of curing diseases, healing wounds, and prolonging life. Although Roland fears the ethical implications of this advancement, Raina constantly pressures him to complete his project.

After a horrific accident leaves them on the brink of death, Roland is forced to cross all his ethical boundaries to save Raina and Jacob. Upon awakening, Jacob threatens Roland, saying he will force him to complete his treatment and kidnap his family. In response, Roland and Rachel gather Rae, Richie, and Rodney to escape to the past through the Time Zone Witness Program, a witness protection program run by Roland's brother, Reggie.

On Halloween night, Raina finally discovers her family's time-traveling location and attacks them. Roland agrees to leave with her on the condition that she doesn't harm anyone, but Raina, desperate to save herself and Jacob, is prepared to kill anyone necessary.

To return to the 25th century, Roland modifies Richie's exoskeleton with the promise of finishing their cures there using this unethical technology. However, it's all a trap: Roland causes the exoskeleton to explode with them inside, leaving Roland's own fate hanging in the balance.

A spectacular volume, packed with emotion, suspense, and chases, with a breathtaking ending.

Full of details and many textures that provide an interesting and mesmerizing organic effect, all this achieves a futuristic and somewhat terrifying tone.

Trama

The Trillion Dollar Kid, Zach, Rose y Sterling visitan a los Rocketfellers justamente cuando le están cantando el cumpleaños a Rachel, un momento dulce amargo porque Roland, Rae, Richie,Rodney y Raina siguen dolidos por la terrible desaparición de Roland. Tommy intenta explicar que necesita ayuda de ellos para conseguir a sus padres y revela que sabe que los Rocketfellers, que son unos UNBELIEVABLES esto causa estrés a todos y la tensión aumenta.

La presencia de Sterling, hace que Rodney desconfíe y empieza a luchar contra este robot, con la ayuda de Richie y el perro Rex, por lo que Zach y Rose activaron sus poderes,esta batalla se calma cuando Tommy se atraviesa y les pide serenidad.

Rachel ve la foto de los padres de Tommy y los reconoce, ellos hace seis meses se toparon con ellos y le dejaron en la chaqueta de Roland una nota diciendo que tuvieran cuidado, que están siendo monitoreados.

Zach y Rose le prometen a Richie que cuando tengan la energía suficiente lo van a llevar al purgatorio a averiguar si Roland está en el cielo el infierno, como lo hicieron con Tommy en HORNSBY & HALO #14.

Richie le muestra a Tommy que lleva tiempo tratando de activar la máquina del tiempo de su padre desaparecido, pero le falt aun algo de trabajo, Tommy conecta a Sterling con el equipo de Richie y ocurre algo inesperado, un virus del futuro donde las AI se emanciparon infectan a Sterling y este se vuelve un robot asesino.

Este crossover THE UNBELIEVABLES sigue sorprendiendo y termina en The Trillion Dollar Kid #2.

Lleno de detalles y muchas texturas que brindan un efecto orgánico interesante e hipnotizante, todo esto logra un tono futurista y algo terrorífico.

“THE UNBELIEVABLES,” Part Three

For the first time, the Rocketfellers finally meet Hornsby & Halo! When Rose Hornsby, Zach Halo, and the Trillion Dollar Kid—aka Tommy Townsend III—confront the family from the 25th century about their secret, they unleash deadly chaos when Tommy’s overprotective robot bodyguard unleashes his full capability!

Plot

The Trillion Dollar Kid, Zach, Rose, and Sterling visit the Rocketfellers just as they're singing "Happy Birthday" to Rachel, a bittersweet moment because Roland, Rae, Richie, Rodney, and Raina are still grieving Roland's tragic disappearance. Tommy tries to explain that he needs their help to find his parents and reveals that he knows the Rocketfellers are Unbelievable, which stresses everyone out and raises the tension.

Sterlington's presence makes Rodney suspicious, and he starts fighting the robot with the help of Richie and the dog Rex. Zach and Rose activate their powers, but the battle calms down when Tommy intervenes and asks them to remain calm.

Rachel sees a photo of Tommy's parents and recognizes them. Six months ago, they encountered them and left a note in Roland's jacket warning them to be careful, as they are being monitored.

Zach and Rose promise Richie that when they have enough energy, they'll take him to Purgatory to find out if Roland is in Heaven or Hell, just like they did with Tommy in Hornsby & Halo #14.

Richie shows Tommy that he's been trying to activate his missing father's time machine for a while, but he still needs some work. Tommy connects Sterling to Richie's equipment, and something unexpected happens: a virus from the future, where AIs have become emancipated, infects Sterling, turning him into a killer robot.

This crossover, The Unbelievables, continues to surprise and concludes in The Trillion Dollar Kid #2.

Trama

The Trillion Dollar Kid es el que comienza a narrar esta entrega e introduce a personajes nuevos de este universo de los Unbelievables, para luego ubicarse cuatro semanas después de la terrible desaparición de Roland, donde toda la familia, Rachel, Rae, Richie y Rodney regresaron a su casa cuidando a Raina, quien perdió la memoria de todo lo ocurrido, en especial su responsabilidad con la desaparición de Roland.

Este cómic es una precuela porque la historia se remonta al primer dia que esta familia llegó a 2026 como parte del sistema de protección de testigos del futuro, como se fueron adaptando al dinero y costumbres, donde todos lamentan la muerte de la abuela Rosie por eso es importante leer THE ROCKETFELLERS #1 para refrescar lo ocurrido.

Roland causó por accidente una onda electromagnética que despertó las alarmas de un niño, que está investigando la existencia de personas excepcionales, que las llama The Unbelievables, que da inicio a un nuevo universo que incluye a Hornsby and Halo.

Este misterioso niño genio de esta tras la pista de estas personas y se hace llamar THE TRILLION DOLLAR KID, serie de cómics que comienza en Junio.

Espectacular inicio del primer crossover del universo de personajes de FAMILY ODYSSEYS que va a sacudir todo.

What does it come from?

Among us are…the Unbelievables! A bold new era begins as the Rocketfeller family picks up the pieces after Roland’s death disappearance, and are now caretakers of their deadliest foe, the amnesiac Raina Rocketfeller. But they’re not the only ones looking for Roland, as the Trillion Dollar Kid makes his world debut—and the family from the future recalls what it was like to begin their life in our present.

Plot

The Trillion Dollar Kid is the one who begins narrating this installment and introduces new characters to this universe of the Unbelievables, then places itself four weeks after the terrible disappearance of Roland, where the whole family, Rachel, Rae, Richie and Rodney returned to their home taking care of Raina, who lost the memory of everything that happened, especially her responsibility with Roland's disappearance.

This comic is a prequel, as the story goes back to the first day the family arrived in 2026 as part of the future witness protection program. It shows how they adapted to the new currency and customs, and how they all mourn the death of Grandma Rosie. Therefore, it's important to read THE ROCKETFELLERS #1 to refresh your memory of what happened.

Roland accidentally triggered an electromagnetic wave that alerted a young boy, who is investigating the existence of exceptional people he calls The Unbelievables. This investigation marks the beginning of a new universe that includes Hornsby and Halo.

This mysterious child prodigy is on the trail of these individuals and calls himself THE TRILLION DOLLAR KID. The comic series begins in June.

A spectacular start to the first crossover in the FAMILY ODYSSEYS universe of characters that's going to shake things up.

Trama
