¿De qué viene?
La sorprendente conclusión de la saga de apocalipsis vampírico de tres partes, en la que los últimos humanos de la Tierra atrapados en la Ciudad del Vaticano se reducen a un puñado mientras intentan escapar con mil millones de vampiros esperando afuera y el fin del mundo acercándose rápidamente.
Trama
El plan de Guido funciona a la perfección, mientras un grupo está preparando el avión para partir el otro grupo lleva a la reina de los vampiros GEL GORGE-EH en un carro con una bomba en su pecho cuyo control lo lleva con cuidado una monja.
Los vampiros los dejan ir por su camino, y apenas al salir de la catedral de San Pedro, la monja deja caer el control y explota a la reina de los vampiros, esta secuencia es hilarante y escalofriante.
Guido y los dos hermanos huérfanos logran regresar a la catedral pero los Vampiros iracundos planean quemar todo, estos seres están perdidos sin su reina y no les importa nada.
Hay una análisis super interesante, donde se preguntan si los vampiros se alimentan de sangre solamente, es decir proteínas y agua, deberían ser todos flacos, no podría existir vampiros gordos, de nuevo Millar deconstruye y analiza con su agudez e inteligencia este fenómeno mitológico.
Pero las potencias del planeta lanzan un ataque nuclear cuya radiación tiene el mismo efecto que el sol y pulveriza a los vampiros de todo el planeta, incluidos los que están en Italia como el Vaticano.
La historia cierra con un tono distópico, donde Guido y ambos niños ahora deben buscar alimentos en una ciudad devastada, un final inesperado y genial.
Arte
Con una característica postimpresionista, Per Berg rescata a la perfección el terror del caos, mezclado con el carácter lúgubre de los vampiros mediante sus trazos asimétricos y caricaturescos. Es un arte desafiante y atrevido, muy diferente a cualquier artista que forma parte de la línea editorial de Millarworld, con el cual te familiarizas y aprecias cada vez más con cada nueva lectura.
La paleta de colores de esta entrega se mueve mucho hacia los colores frios, grisis, casi en blanco y negro, lo que le otorga una sensascion lugubre magnifica.
Resumen
El plan de Guido casi funciona a la perfección pero no cuentan con los errores humanos.
Impactante e inesperado cierre de esta historia que refresca la mitología de los vampiros

Synopsis
The stunning conclusion to the three-part vampire apocalypse saga as the last humans on Earth trapped inside Vatican City are whittled down to just a handful as they try to make their escape with a billion vampires waiting outside and the end of the world fast approaching.
Plot
Guido's plan works perfectly. While one group is preparing the plane for departure, the other group transports the vampire queen, GEL GORGE-EH, in a car with a bomb attached to her chest, carefully controlled by a nun.
The vampires let them go their way, and just as they leave St. Peter's Cathedral, the nun drops the control and the vampire queen explodes. This sequence is hilarious and chilling.
Guido and the two orphaned brothers manage to return to the cathedral, but the enraged vampires plan to burn everything down. These beings are lost without their queen and couldn't care less.
There is a super interesting analysis, where they ask if vampires feed only on blood, that is, protein and water. Should they all be skinny? Fat vampires couldn't exist. Once again, Millar deconstructs and analyzes this mythological phenomenon with his sharpness and intelligence.
But the powers of the planet launch a nuclear attack, whose radiation has the same effect as the sun and pulverizes vampires across the globe, including those in Italy, like the Vatican.
The story closes with a dystopian tone, where Guido and both children must now search for food in a devastated city—an unexpected and brilliant ending.
Art
With a post-impressionist quality, Per Berg perfectly captures the terror of chaos, blending with the gloomy character of vampires through his asymmetrical and cartoonish lines. It's a challenging and daring art, very different from any artist in the Millarworld publishing line, with which you become more familiar and appreciate with each new reading.
The color palette of this installment moves heavily toward cold, grayish, almost black and white colors, giving it a magnificent gloomy feeling.
Summary
Guido's plan almost works perfectly, but they don't account for human error. Shocking and unexpected ending to this story that refreshes vampire mythology.
