En Amazing Spider-Man #252 de Tom DeFalco y Ron Frenz, Spider-Man regresó de Secret Wars con un nuevo traje negro que posteriormente se reveló como el simbionte alienígena VENOM. Ahora, más de 40 años después, una nueva leyenda del cómic comienza con el debut de un traje de simbionte en BATTLEWORLD #3 este noviembre, que regresará el mes siguiente en VENOM #252.

BATTLEWORLD, una nueva serie limitada de Christos Gage y Marcus To, se estrena en septiembre. La serie sigue la tradición de las revolucionarias Secret Wars originales y del evento Secret Wars de 2015, reuniendo a varios héroes del multiverso en un planeta fragmentado para un conflicto épico. La semana pasada, en la Comic-Con de San Diego, los minoristas supieron que en BATTLEWORLD #3, uno de esos héroes elegidos se revela como un Venom alternativo completamente nuevo, ¡vistiendo un traje de Spidey rojo y azul! Creado por el escritor Jordan Morris, quien debutó en Marvel Comics a principios de este año en Web of Spider-Verse: New Blood #1, y el artista de élite de Stormbreaker de Marvel y diseñador superestrella de Spider-Verse, Luciano Vecchio, este misterioso nuevo personaje protagonizará su propia historia de respaldo, escrita por Morris y Jesús Saíz, en VENOM #252, parte de la serie actual de Al Ewing y Paco Medina. VENOM #252 también reunirá a DeFalco y Frenz para una historia que se remonta a su clásico número de Amazing Spider-Man.

New York, NY— August 1, 2025 — In Amazing Spider-Man #252 by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz, Spider-Man returned from Secret Wars with a new black costume that was later revealed to be the alien symbiote VENOM! Now, over 40 years later, a new comic book legend begins with the debut of a symbiote costume in BATTLEWORLD #3 this November that will return the following month in VENOM #252.
BATTLEWORLD, a new limited series by Christos Gage and Marcus To, kicks off in September. The series follows the tradition of both the groundbreaking original Secret Wars and the 2015 Secret Wars event by bringing various heroes from the multiverse together on a patchwork planet for an epic conflict! Last week at San Diego Comic-Con, retailers learned that In BATTLEWORLD #3, one of those chosen heroes is revealed to be an all-new alternate Venom donning a Red and Blue Spidey suit! Created by writer Jordan Morris, who made his Marvel Comics debut earlier this year in Web of Spider-Verse: New Blood #1, and Marvel’s Stormbreaker elite artist and superstar Spider-Verse designer Luciano Vecchio, this mysterious new character will headline his own backup story by Morris and Jesús Saíz in VENOM #252, part of Al Ewing and Paco Medina’s current run. VENOM #252 will also reunite DeFalco and Frenz for a story that ties back to their classic Amazing Spider-Man issue.
