WICCAN: WITCHES’ ROAD, que se lanzará en diciembre, será una serie limitada de cinco números escrita por la estrella emergente Wyatt Kennedy (X-Men: El Especial de la Boda) y el recién llegado Andy Pereira, en su emocionante debut en Marvel Comics.

Es realmente emocionante poder llevar a Billy por un camino tan inesperado y sacarlo de su elemento, presentando a un nuevo villano y un aliado sorprendente que sé que los fans han estado deseando ver. Obviamente, tener la oportunidad de escribir sobre una de las mejores parejas de Marvel es una alegría, pero estoy muy emocionado de profundizar en Billy como individuo y explorar lo que su título de Wiccan realmente significa tanto para él mismo como para el universo Marvel.
Al debutar en Marvel Comics, Pereira compartió: «Dibujar para Marvel es vivir un sueño de mi infancia. A mis quince años estoy completamente feliz, ¡pero no lo hice solo! Hubo mucha gente que me ayudó en mi crecimiento artístico y personal: mis amigos y padres, que no me dejaron rendirme, especialmente Fábio Yabu, que creyó en mí y me enseñó mucho de lo que sé sobre cómics; Sara Pichelli, por inspirarme; y, por supuesto, la persona más especial: mi novia, ¡una compañera increíble!».
“Estoy muy feliz de que mi debut sea también el debut de Wiccan como estrella solista, y todo el equipo y yo estamos poniendo todo nuestro esfuerzo para que sea lo mejor posible”, continuó. “Espero que esta sea la primera de muchas historias. Launching in December WICCAN: WITCHES ROAD will be a five-issue limited comic series written by rising star Wyatt Kennedy (X-Men: The Wedding Special) and newcomer Andy Pereira, in his exciting Marvel Comics debut.
Since bursting on the comic scene as a Young Avenger, Wiccan became one of his generation of heroes’ biggest breakout stars! Now, following the character’s live-action debut in Marvel Television’s Agatha All Along last year, Wiccan headlines a saga that explores his mighty legacy and the very nature of his immense mystical power! On making his Marvel Comics debut, Pereira shared, "Drawing for Marvel is living out a childhood dream of mine. My fifteen-year-old self is completely over the moon, but I didn't do it alone! There were many people who helped me in my artistic and personal growth—my friends and parents who didn't let me give up, especially Fábio Yabu who believed in me and taught me much of what I know about comics, Sara Pichelli for inspiring me, and of course, the most special one, my girlfriend who is an amazing partner!”
“I’m very happy that my debut is also Wiccan’s debut as a solo star, and the whole team and I are putting a lot of effort into making it the best it could be!” he continued. “I hope this is the first of many stories. I’m so excited to be drawing Billy and Teddy, in their really cool designs, along with the atmosphere Wyatt is doing a great job at creating. This being the Witches’ Road, the most challenging part is all the trees!”
