Trama
Esta versión de Marvel Zombies reimagina el origen de Marvel Comics en la década de 1960 cuando Spider-Man, Thor/Donald Blake, Iron Man, Hulk y los 4 Fantásticos surgieron de las mentes de Stan Lee, Jack Kirby y Steve Ditko.
Hay muchos elementos claves del origen de cada personaje, que son recreados, como por ejemplo el evento canónico de la muerte del Tío Ben y la Tía May en la vida de Peter debido a su inacción, en este caso son muy trágicas.
La infección proviene del espacio, la traen consigo los 4 Fantásticos luego de una misión donde de manera ilegal robaron un cohete.
Estos Zombies son conscientes y mantienen su memoria y poderes, por lo que Reed Richards crea una estrategia de ataque masiva organizada de zombies que recibe su primer fracaso la luchar contra Iron Man y Hulk. Donald Blake no se salva. Esta batalla es intensa y emocionante.
El cómic cierra con Silver Surfer descubriendo que las estrellas del cielo desaparecen.
Este comic es de la línea "Red Band" por lo tanto incluye violencia explícita, visceras, sangre y terror.
Arte
Ofrece el tono lúgubre necesario para narrar esta historia de terror tan intensa, detalles en las vísceras y esas expresiones de los zombies donde sus ojos carecen de vida es escalofriante y brillante, capturando a su vez un tono similar a los cómics de la Era de Plata.

Plot
This version of Marvel Zombies reimagines the origins of Marvel Comics in the 1960s, when Spider-Man, Thor/Donald Blake, Iron Man, Hulk, and the Fantastic Four emerged from the minds of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko.
Many key elements of each character's origin story are recreated, such as the canonical event of Uncle Ben and Aunt May's deaths in Peter's life, due to his inaction—in this case, their deaths are even more tragic.
The infection originates from space, brought back by the Fantastic Four after an unauthorized mission in which they stole a rocket.
These zombies are sentient and retain their memories and powers, so Reed Richards devises a massive, organized zombie attack strategy, which suffers its first setback when fighting Iron Man and Hulk; Donald Blake doesn't survive. This battle is intense and thrilling.
The comic ends with the Silver Surfer discovering that the stars in the sky are disappearing.
This comic is part of the "Red Band" series, therefore it includes explicit violence, gore, blood, and horror.
Art
It provides the necessary grim tone to tell this intense horror story. The details in the gore and the lifeless expressions on the zombies' faces are chilling and brilliant, while also capturing a similar style to the Silver Age comics.
