Ghost Machine Productions lanza REDCOAT un nuevo personaje que lo conocimos en los dos especiales GEIGER 80-PAGE GIANT #1 (2022) y GHOST MACHINE #1 ONE-SHOT (2024), del escritor Geoff Johns, el artista Bryan Hitch, que narra las aventuras de un casi héroe de guerra que forma parte del universo de los UNNAMED que incluye a Geiger y Junkyard Joe.
¿De qué viene?
Las devastadoras consecuencias del último número llevan tanto al inmortal soldado británico Simon Pure como al genial físico Albert Einstein por un camino del que jamás podrán regresar. Al menos, no sin pagar un precio altísimo.

Trama
Simon sufre luego de que Margaret se llevará a sus hijos May y Albert a la casa de su tia, ella está decepcionada por el secreto de inmortalidad que le guardo todo este tiempo Simon, pero algo en ella cambia de opinión y regresan a casa, esto le da ánimo aSimon para ponerse de nuevo su casaca roja e ir con Albert Einstein hasta la pista que les dio Benedict Arnold antes de ser secuestrado.
En el camino a este lugar que Arnold le dijo que fuera, una casa Old State, Simon saluda con todos sus amigos y el jefe de la sastrería. Albert y Simon llegan a este juzgado, para luego escuchar una explosión, es la sastrería donde trabajaba, Simon corre a su casa viendo una estela de muerte a su paso y descubre a Margaret, May y Albert asesinados...Benedict Arnold hizo todo esto, fue una trampa...con la hacha de las mentiras en mano ahora va por Simon.
Impactante y doloroso capítulo donde la alegría de vivir de Simon se desvanece.
Arte
Bryan Hitch ofrece su visión cinematográfica, dónde dirige secuencias de acción hipnotizantes y captura los detalles y tonos de cada época de antaño. Los colores crean la atmósfera perfecta que te transporta a principios del siglo XX.
Tiene un manejo de las escalas hipnotizante, transporta y te sacude con visiones realistas impactantes en un formato muy parecido al cinematográfico.
Resumen
Simon y Albert van tras la pista que les dio Benedict Arnold, pero algo no está bien y ninguno se da cuenta.
Este capítulo les dejará sin aliento y totalmente abrumados

What does it come from?
The senses-shattering consequences of last issue puts both immortal British soldier Simon Pure and genius physicist Albert Einstein on a path they will never be able to come back from. At least, not without paying an enormous price.
Plot
Simon is devastated after Margaret takes their children, May and Albert, to her aunt's house. She's disappointed by the secret of immortality Simon kept from her all this time, but something changes her mind, and they return home. This gives Simon the courage to put on his red coat again and go with Albert Einstein to the clue Benedict Arnold gave them before being kidnapped.
On the way to the place Arnold told him to go, an Old Estate house, Simon greets all his friends and the head tailor. Albert and Simon arrive at the courthouse, only to hear an explosion. It's the tailor shop where he worked. Simon runs home, seeing a trail of death in his wake, and discovers Margaret, May, and Albert murdered... Benedict Arnold did all this; it was a trap... with the axe of lies in hand, he's now after Simon.
A shocking and heartbreaking chapter where Simon's joy for life vanishes.
Art
Bryan Hitch offers his cinematic vision, directing mesmerizing action sequences and capturing the details and tones of each bygone era. The colors create the perfect atmosphere that transports you to the early 20th century.
His masterful use of scale is mesmerizing; he transports and shakes you with striking, realistic visions in a format very similar to film.
Summary
Simon and Albert follow the lead given to them by Benedict Arnold, but something is amiss, and neither of them realizes it.
This episode will leave you breathless and completely overwhelmed.
