Trama

Los Paladins explican a Tony y Steve que ellos están detrás de Veronica Eden porque ella tiene en su poder a Myrmidon, uno de sus colegas y planea usarlo para un ataque a Minneapolis.

Iron Man y Cap llegan hasta donde Eden está escondida y luchan contra ella, ella posee mucho acceso al armamento de HYDRA, sin embargo llegan los Paladins, Cap logra neutralizarla pero los métodos de los Paladins son crueles.

Sin embargo en Minneapolis Myrmidon despierta y está a punto de lanzar su ataque.

Veronica es una  villana interesante, inteligente y divertida.

Arte 

Está lleno de detalles y trabaja muy bien las expresiones faciales y las secuencias de pelea son muy bien diagramadas.

Plot

The Paladins explain to Tony and Steve that they are after Veronica Eden because she has Myrmidon, one of their colleagues, in her possession and plans to use him for an attack on Minneapolis.

Iron Man and Cap go to where Eden is hiding and fight against her, she has a lot of access to HYDRA's weapons, however the Paladins arrive, Cap manages to neutralize her but the Paladins' methods are cruel.

However in Minneapolis Myrmidon awakens and is about to launch her attack.

Veronica is an interesting, smart, and fun villain.

Art

It is full of details and works very well on facial expressions and the fight sequences are very well diagrammed.

Trama

El cómic comienza con  el reclutamiento de Veronica Eden por parte de Tony Stark, quien le ve potencial para formar parte de S.H.I.E.L.D, pero ell actualmente es considerada una espía doble de HYDRA.

Verónica escapa con la ayuda del ser Fifty One, ella tiene un plan secreto cuyo objetivo es eliminar a todos los superhéroes. 

Capitan América llega a intentar detener el escape pero debe salvar a unos civiles. Iron Man le pide ayuda a resolver este caso porque se siente culpable por haber recomendado.

Arte 

Las secuencias son impactantes y captura a la perfección el look clásico de Iron man así como sus expresiones faciales.

Resumen

Kingpin está decidido en eliminar a todos los superhéroes de Marvel y la ley está de su lado

Plot

The comic begins with the recruitment of Veronica Eden by Tony Stark, who sees her potential to be part of S.H.I.E.L.D, but she is currently considered a double spy for HYDRA.

Veronica escapes with the help of being Fifty One, she has a secret plan whose goal is to eliminate all superheroes.

Captain America tries to stop the escape but must save some civilians. Iron Man asks him to help solve this case because he feels guilty for recommended her.

Art

The sequences are striking and perfectly capture the classic look of Iron man as well as his facial expressions.

Summary

Kingpin is determined to eliminate all Marvel superheroes and the law is on his side

“Desde que estalló la pandemia, me he abierto camino a través de los viejos ómnibuses de Marvel, leyendo todas las historias de los años 60 que solo había escuchado / absorbido a través de la ósmosis, con Steve Rogers y Tony Stark siendo los primeros en la lectura pila. Poco sabía que se trataba de una serie prolongada de investigación diligente y exhaustiva por la que debería ser admirado, mejor dicho, elogiado ”, dijo Landy. “La oportunidad de escribir estos personajes es tan desalentadora como emocionante, pero con Ángel Unzueta en tareas artísticas, estoy seguro de que al menos se verá hermoso”.
 
“Para mí, es un sueño hecho realidad dibujar a Iron Man y al Capitán América. Siempre está entusiasmado con la obra de arte y me anima a hacer los cambios que considere oportunos para que sea muy fácil trabajar con él. Es un gran novelista y un escritor de películas de terror realmente hábil, pero también ha querido ser escritor de cómics desde que tenía doce años y su amor por el medio se muestra en cada página del guión. Le da al guión un gran sentido cinematográfico en cada panel y la coreografía me empuja a ser clara, detallada y dinámica al mismo tiempo. “Ever since the pandemic hit, I've been making my way through the old Marvel omnibuses, reading all the stories from the 60s that I'd only heard about/absorbed through osmosis—with Steve Rogers and Tony Stark being uppermost on the reading pile. Little did I know that this was actually a prolonged bout of diligent and thorough research for which I should be roundly admired—nay lauded,” Landy said. “The opportunity to write these characters is as daunting as it is thrilling, but with Ángel Unzueta on art duties, I'm reassured that it'll at least LOOK gorgeous.”

 

“For me, it's a dream come true to draw Iron Man and Captain America. They are my two favorite characters in the Marvel Universe (in and out of costume),” Unzueta said. “Working with Derek has been a GREAT pleasure. He is always enthusiastic about the artwork and encourages me to make changes as I see fit so it is really easy to work with him. He is a great novelist and a really skilled horror film writer, but he’s also wanted to be a comic book writer since he was twelve years old and his love for the medium is shown on every page of the script. He gives the script a great cinematographic sense in every panel and the choreography pushes me to be clear, detailed and dynamic at the same time. There is a lot of things to say about the relationship of these two Marvel heroes and Derek shows in this miniseries his deep understanding of their dynamic and services it into a great and relevant story: An instant classic!"
