The Resistance fue el primer cómic que AWA lanzó, justamente en la semana de marzo de 2020 cuando anunciaron la cuarentena mundial, aún así lograron superar todo.

This universe is dedicated to showing very accurately what the existence of super humans would be like in the 21st century, deconstructing the comics genre for this new generation and accurately predicting the effects of a global pandemic, just when the COVID 19 pandemic began, the similarity of this comic with reality is impressive, especially since this universe was created a year before the terrible COVID pandemic occurred. The Resistance was the first comic that AWA released, precisely in the week of March 2020 when they announced the world quarantine, yet they still managed to overcome everything.

The Resistance is part of the history of comics and contemporary culture.

The Resistance Universe: The Origins also includes the first numbers of the other series supporting this universe that feed this univere with different social and cultural visions, without a doubt The Resistance is one of the most relevant, current and amazing comic series in the comic industry right now.

¿De qué viene?

A partir de las páginas de The Resistance, The Joneses se enfoca en una familia suburbana con un gran secreto: en la pandemia mundial conocida como la "Gran Muerte" (debido al virus XV1N1), madre, padre, hermana y hermano se transformaron en algo sobrehumano. Mientras el mundo abraza el fascismo nacido del miedo, los Jones se dan cuenta de que enfrentan graves consecuencias si son expuestos como "Reborns". ¿Mantienen un perfil bajo y se esconden a la vista... o usan sus poderes para el bien y arriesgan la exposición?

Trama

Los Dillons (Craig, Darcy, Amy y Logan) están por ejecutar el ataque terrorista a la alcaldesa y así desatar su plan de miedo hacia los Reborns.

Sonya, Marcus Tommy y Agatha deberán asumir su rol en esta delicada situación, Sonya y Tommy entienden que se están jugando el futuro, así que se pueden preparar para una batalla entre familias de Reborns.

Este capítulo final aunque puede ser algo predecible cierra todos los arcos planteados y deja abierto todo para un volumen dos.

Es muy dinámico gracias a sus texturas, que eleva las batallas a un buen nivel de exclencia.

Plot

The Dillons (Craig, Darcy, Amy and Logan) are about to carry out the terrorist attack on the mayor and thus unleash their plan to scare the Reborns. Sonya, Marcus Tommy and Agatha must assume their role in this delicate situation, Sonya and Tommy understand that the future is at stake, so they can prepare for a battle between families of Reborns. This final chapter, although it can be somewhat predictable, closes all the arcs raised and leaves everything open for a volume two. Art 

It is very dynamic thanks to its textures. It raises the battles to a good level of excellence.

Summary

The final battle between the Dillons and the Joneses is on everyone's eyes.

Este es el capítulo mas impactante de este primer volumen, con varios giros inteligentes y muy inesperados.

Tiene mucha textura y presente muchos trazos que se distancian de los detalles para brindar dinamismo a la historia.

Resumen

La histeria masiva es usada por los Dillons en su beneficio, mientras los Joneses deben unir fuerzas para detener una catástrofe.

Plot

The Dillons (Craig, Darcy, Amy and Logan) are executing a plan of terror in the town, to use fear in their favor and thus have power. They are out of control, the ambition and having that power of Reborns makes them show the worst of themselves. Sonya and Marcus remain divided on whether or not to use the Reborns powers, this discussion will be decided based on the actions of the Dillons. Tommy and Agatha begin to bond with the thought of their father Marcus. This is the most shocking chapter of this first volume, with several clever and very unexpected twists. Art It's very textured and has lots of strokes away from the details to bring dynamism to the story.

Summary

Mass hysteria is used by the Dillons to their advantage, while the Joneses must join forces to stop a catastrophe.
