Es un interesante análisis del estado de ánimo y psicológico de estos dos adversarios que están por enfrentarse, revelando el plan final de Jodie y los potentes motivos de Catalina. El épico final tan conmovedor como sorpresivo de esta apasionante trilogía.

Synopsis

Plot

This volume shows the two sides of the coin, Jodie and Catalina, where everything is not black and white and makes you wonder who you should root for. It is an interesting analysis of the mood and psychological state of these two adversaries who are about to face each other, revealing Jodie's final plan and Catalina's powerful motives. The moving and surprising finale of this exciting trilogy.

It is a very detailed art that many times seems to be made of oil like a Renaissance painting, with beautiful sequences and full of details that play with shadows. It includes, without a doubt, the best artistic pages of the entire trilogy.

¿De qué viene?

Cristo se enfrenta al mismo Anticristo, el presidente de los Estados Unidos, cuando finalmente se cumple una profecía de 2000 años. El tercer y último volumen de la trilogía MILLAR/GROSS llega a su fin aquí. Esta será una serie de Netflix en la primavera.

En el evento TUDUM de Netflix revelaron un adelanto de la venidera adaptación en accion el vivo llamada EL ELEGIDO, clip que lo narra el propio Mark Millar

 

Trama

Llegó el día final, el enfrentamiento decisivo del cielo contra el infierno, Jodie el Anticristo se sube al Air Force One para encontrarse con Catalina la reencarnación de Cristo en la montaña de Megido...como lo dicen las profecías.

Este encuentro tiene un giro conmovedor de la trama, que se adentra en la psicología, sociología y teología, es sin duda un cierre brillante para una serie que toma las escrituras de la Biblia y las actualiza, ofreciendo una conclusión esperanzadora.

La secuencia inicial es escalofriante mostrando los primeros minutos de vida de Jodie, quien termina siendo clave para esta segunda llegada del hijo de Dios. El inicio de este cómic se une con la página final de American Jesus The Chosen, lo cual es un regalo hermoso para los fanáticos fieles de esta saga.

Este cómic cierra una saga que ha asombrado por años, asombrando y sacudiendo las bases de la fe, dejando todo listo para la venidera serie de Netflix dirigida por Leopoldo y Everardo Gout.

Plot

The final day has arrived, the decisive confrontation of heaven against hell, Jodie the Antichrist gets on Air Force One to meet Catalina, the reincarnation of Christ on the mountain of Megiddo... as the prophecies say.

This encounter has a moving plot twist, which delves into psychology, sociology and theology, it is undoubtedly a brilliant closing to a series that takes the scriptures of the Bible and updates them, offering a hopeful conclusion.

The initial sequence is chilling showing the first minutes of Jodie's life, who ends up being key to this second arrival of the son of God. The beginning of this comic is linked with the final page of American Jesus The Chosen, which is a beautiful gift for the faithful fans of this saga.

This comic closes a saga that has amazed for years, astonishing and shaking the foundations of faith, leaving everything ready for the upcoming Netflix series directed by Leopoldo and Everardo Gout.

Art

With many textures, it offers an apocalyptic tone necessary to be able to give tension to this final moment. There is a splash page involving a hug that will move you.

¿De qué viene?

Cristo regresa y camina por la Tierra juzgando a cada hombre, mujer y niño que se enfrenta a Wall Street y al Vaticano en este viaje hacia la confrontación final entre el Bien y el Mal Supremo en los desiertos de Meggido, donde el Libro de la Revolución dijo que tendría lugar la batalla final.

Trama

Este capítulo analiza que todo no es blanco y negro, hay una escala de gris, comenzando por Jodie que empieza a dudar del éxito de su mision, estar rodeado de lacayos ciegamente obedientes le despertó la necesidad de hablar con el Sacerdote O'higgins.

La visita de Jodie se vuelve una confesión, le revela todo su plan al padre O'higgins, quien aún a pesar de estar en la presencia del Anticristo tiene fe de que Jodie va a hacer lo correcto.

Jodie ni nadie en el mundo sabe de la presencia de Catalina, la nueva hija de Dios, por lo que todos están confiados que el plan de satanás va a funcionar. Todas las secuencias que muestran a Jodie alrededor de sus seguidores son escalofriantes por lo cruel de las palabras mientras rinden culto al diablo.

Mientras tanto Catalina visita el Vaticano, viendo con dolor en lo que la iglesia que San Pedro comenzó se ha convertido en pura opulencia, ella no está feliz con la manera en que el mundo ha usado la imagen de su padre y está dispuesta a comenzar el juicio final. Al parecer para ella dios no es amor, es castigo.

Esta penúltima entrega muestra las dos caras de la moneda, es un interesante análisis del estado de ánimo y psicológico de estos dos adversarios que están por enfrentarse. Pareciera que ambos personajes están por vivir un cambio importante en sus vidas.

Arte 
Mantiene ese arte hipnotizante, un arte muy detallado que muchas veces parece ser coloreado con tizas pastel.

Christ returns and walks the Earth passing judgment on every man woman and child taking on Wall Street and The Vatican on this journey towards the final confrontation between Good and Ultimate Evil in the deserts of Meggido where Book of Revolution said the final battle would take place.

Plot

This chapter analyzes that everything is not black and white, starting with Jodie who doubt the success of his mission, being surrounded by blindly obedient lackeys aroused the need to speak with the O'higgins Priest.

Jodie's visit turns into a confession, and reveals his entire plan to Father O'higgins, who, despite being in the presence of the Antichrist, has faith that Jodie is going to do the right thing.

Neither Jodie nor anyone else in the world knows of the presence of Catalina, the new daughter of God, so this cult is confident that Satan's plan will work. All the sequences that show Jodie around his followers are chilling because of the cruelty of the words while they worship the devil.

Meanwhile Catherine visits the Vatican, painfully to her is seeing what the church St. Peter started has turned into sheer opulence, she is not happy with the way the world has used her father's image and is ready to start the judgment. Apparently for her God is not love, it is punishment.

This penultimate installment shows the two sides of the coin, it is an interesting analysis of the mood and psychological state of these two adversaries who are about to face each other. It seems that both characters are about to experience a revealing change in their lives.

Art

it maintains that mesmerizing art, highly detailed art that often appears to be colored in with pastels.

Summary

As Jodie doubts the success of his plan, Catalina is ready to start the final judgment.
