¿De qué viene?

La historia trata de dos amigas, Wisp y Willow, de aproximadamente 10 años de edad, quienes viven en un pequeño pueblo en EE.UU y juegan todos los días a luchar contra dragones, hacer hechizos y vencer al mal.

Estas inseparables amigas comparten el día a día mediante sus aventuras imaginarias, la historia destaca de una manera sutil que la familia de Willow está muy atenta de su cuidado mientras que la madre de Wisp no puede dedicarle el tiempo que requiere debido a que trabaja todo el día, dando a entender que Wisp está muy solitaria.

¿Qué sucede?

La trama se pasa entre juegos infantiles, risas y escenas imaginarias, típicas de niños sanos de esta edad, sin embargo en una noche Wisp tiene un encuentro fuera de lo normal que la hace visitar a Willow, este encuentro viene con una advertencia, el Rey de las Sombras quiere quitar el color a todo un mundo mágico y colorido.

El espectro de colores de este mundo son muy importantes, son explicados con detenimiento en toda la serie.

Este cómic es perfecto para todas las edades, con una trama inocua, divertida apoyada de un arte bien definido e inocente, este equipo creativo de Whitley y Williams logran establecer unas buenas bases para llevar esta adaptación de una serie animada a otro nivel.

Resumen

La mitología de Rainbow Brite se revitaliza con esta historia que mezcla fantasía con ciencia ficción y humor.

This graphic novel collects issues # 1 to # 5, and is based on the 1984 animated series by Hallmark, which caused a sensation in that decade for its theme and toys related to rainbows, colors and fantasy.

Where does it come from?

The story is about two friends, Wisp and Willow, about 10 years old, who live in a small town in the US and play every day to fight against dragons, make spells and defeat evil.

These inseparable friends share the day to day through their imaginary adventures, the story highlights in a subtle way that the family of Willow is very attentive to their care while the mother of Wisp can not devote the time it requires because it works all the day, implying that Wisp is very lonely.

What's going on?

The plot is passed between children's games, laughter and imaginary scenes, typical of healthy children of this age, however in one night Wisp has an unusual encounter that makes her visit Willow, this meeting comes with a warning, the King of the Shadows wants to remove the color to a whole magical and colorful world.

The spectrum of colors of this world are very important, they are explained in detail throughout the series.

This comic is perfect for all ages, with an innocuous, fun plot supported by a well defined and innocent art, this creative team of Whitley and Williams manage to establish a good basis to take this adaptation of an animated series to another level.

Summary

The mythology of Rainbow Brite is revitalized with this story that mixes fantasy with science fiction and humor.

¿De qué viene?

En Rainbow Brite #4, Rainbow Brite activa el poder del color rojo que le otorga súper velocidad para poder salvar al guardián de color verde, en esta aventura recata al caballo Starlite.

¿Qué sucede?

Rainbow Brite, Wisp y Red Flare, están encarcelados, lugar dónde se encuentran con nuevos personajes.

Lucky es el primo de Wisp es un Sprite de color verde, que le presenta a Patty, la Guardiana del Color Verde, a su vez se encentran con otro Sprite, se llama Gloomy es un NV, invisible, porque forma parte del espectro del arcoíris infrarrojo.

NV es muy malhumorado y su discusión con Wisp revela que este último no tiene color y que su labor es ayudar a Rainbow Brite, porque su característica incolora es muy rara, casi nunca sucede entre Sprites.

Este cómic muestra por primera vez a la madre de Rainbow Brite en la tierra hablando con la policía, mientras su amiga Willow intenta explicar cómo desapareció, NV aparece para pedir ayuda a Willow.

Resumen

Más misterios se revelan en este universo, así como nuevos e interesantes personajes, esta historia está bien nutrida de fantasía y ficción.

Where does it come from?

In Rainbow Brite # 4, Rainbow Brite activates the power of the red color that gives it super speed to save the green guardian.

What's going on?

Rainbow Brite, Wisp and Red Flare, are imprisoned, where they meet new characters.

Lucky is the cousin of Wisp is a Sprite of green color, which introduces Patty, the Green Color Guardian,and another Sprite apperas, it is called Gloomy is an NV, invisible, because it is part of the spectrum of the rainbow infrared.

NV is very moody and his discussion with Wisp reveals that the latter has no color and that his job is to help Rainbow Brite, because its colorless feature is very rare, almost never happens between Sprites.

This comic shows for the first time the mother of Rainbow Brite on earth talking to the police, while her friend Willow tries to explain how she disappeared, NV appears to ask for help from Willow.

Summary

More mysteries are revealed in this universe, as well as new and interesting characters, this story is well nourished by fantasy and fiction.

En Rainbow Brite #3, Wisp y Twink conocen a Red Flare, el guardián del color rojo, luego de haber despertado el poder de Rainbow Brite.

¿Qué sucede?

Twink le explica al Guardián del color Rojo, Red Flare,, que el reino Arcoiris está conformado por 7 plataformas, una corresponde a cada color del arco iris, por lo que deben todas vivir en armonía, de lo contrario colapsarán, cada color tiene un guardián y representa un poder único y diferente, y entre ellos se bloquean.

Por eso es que si se roban los colores todos caerán en desgracia.

Rainbow Brite tiene un nuevo aliado para poder salvar a los otros guardianes de los colores, por cierto no se pierdan Rainbow Brite de nuevo en acción en este cómic.

Resumen

Esta entrega se centra en establecer los riesgos y la estrategia de Wisp, Twink y Red Flare para detener a los ladrones de colores.

In Rainbow Brite # 3, Wisp and Twink meet Red Flare, the guardian of the red color, after having awakened the power of Rainbow Brite.

What's going on?

Twink explains to the Guardian of the Red color, Red Flare, that the Rainbow kingdom is made up of 7 platforms, one corresponds to each color of the rainbow, so they must all live in harmony, otherwise they will collapse, each color has a guardian and represents a unique and different power, and among them are blocked.

That's why if they steal the colors the kingdom will fall.

Rainbow Brite has a new ally to be able to save the other guardians of the colors, by the way do not miss Rainbow Brite again in action in this comic.

Summary

This comic focuses on establishing the risks and strategy of Wisp, Twink and Red Flare to stop color thieves.

En Rainbow Brite #2, Wisp escapa de unos maleantes y por accidente despierta el poder de Rainbow Brite al tocar el Cetro Estrella.

¿Qué sucede?

Wisp descubre el poder que le otorga este cetro, claro está, desconoce aún cómo usarlos apropiadamente, sin embargo logra rescatar a un ser que había sido despojado de sus colores.

Twink descubre que su nueva amiga es la heredera del manto de Rainbow Brite por lo que decide ayudarla a entender lo que sucede por lo que se dirigen a un lugar que les dará respuestas.

En este capítulo vemos por primera vez en acción a Rainbow Brite, con secuencias muy dinámicas en narración y arte.

El final de este cómic muestra a un posible aliado.

Resumen

Este cómic se centra en mostrar cómo Wisp empieza a aprender a controlar sus poderes como Rainbow Brite, con mucha acción y color, mientras revelan muy poco de lo que se avecina.

In Rainbow Brite #2, Wisp escapes some thugs and accidentally awakens the power of Rainbow Brite by touching the Star Scepter.

What's going on?

Wisp discovers the power that this scepter gives to her, of course, she still does not know how to use them properly, however she manages to rescue a being that had been stripped of its colors.

Twink discovers that her new friend is the heiress of Rainbow Brite's mantle so he decides to help her understand what is happening so they go to a place that will give them answers.

In this issue we see for the first time in action Rainbow Brite, with very dynamic sequences in narration and art.

The end of this comic shows a possible ally.

Summary

This comic focuses on showing how Wisp begins to learn to control his powers as Rainbow Brite, with lots of action and color, while revealing very little of what is coming.

¿De qué viene?

En Rainbow Brite #1, Wisp es llevada por Twinkle (un ser de la raza Sprite) a un mundo alterno de fantasía que está perdiendo sus colores por monstruos que los roban y que lo mismo le va a pasar a la tierra.

En este número el monstruo roba el color azul del carro de la madre de Wisp, porque el azul es el espectro de color que están desapareciendo por los momentos.

¿Qué sucede?

Wisp está asustada y maravillada con este mundo, pero igual preocupada porque todo está perdiendo sus colores, mientras Twink le cuenta la profecía de una heroína llamada Rainbow Brite, que con su cetro podrá retornar los colores usando el prisma de color de un arcoiris y convertirlo en luz blanca, el arma más poderosa.

Este cómic se dedica a nutrir la relación de amistad que apenas florece entre Wisp y Twink, un proceso divertido divertido de transculturización en ambas vías, claro está las astucia de Wisp es de mucho valor en esta narración.


Giro de la Trama
La historia es bastante lineal, pero el final es esperado pero muy grato, porque finalmente vemos a la heroína que estábamos esperando.

Resumen

Esta segunda entrega se centra más a narrar la historia de cómo nace la amistad entre Wisp y Twink, con un poco de suspenso y un buen final, lleno de colores.

This comic is based on the 1984 animated series by Hallmark, which caused a sensation in that decade for its theme and toys related to rainbows, colors and fantasy.

Where does it come from?

In Rainbow Brite # 1, Wisp is taken by Twinkle (a being of the Sprite race) to an alternate world of fantasy that is losing its colors by monsters that steal them and that the same thing will happen to the earth.

In this issue the monster steals the blue color of Wisp's mother's car, because blue is the spectrum of color that is disappearing for the moment.

What's going on?

Wisp is scared and amazed with this world, but equally worried because everything is losing its colors, while Twink tells her the prophecy of a heroine called Rainbow Brite, who with her scepter can return the colors using the prism of a rainbow and turn it in white light, the most powerful weapon.

This comic is dedicated to nurturing the friendship relationship that just blossoms between Wisp and Twink, a fun funny process of transculturization in both ways, of course Wisp's cunning is of great value in this narration.


Is there a Plot Twist?
The story is quite linear and the ending is expected but very pleasant, because finally we see the heroine we were waiting for.

Summary

This second issue focuses more on telling the story of how the friendship between Wisp and Twink was born, with a bit of suspense and a good ending, full of colors.
