“It’s been so much fun to finally tackle working on the HULK. And being able to write the last four issues of this arc and bring some story elements to fruition was such a challenge but I’ve enjoyed it the whole way,” Ottley said. “Drawing comics is what I’m used to, writing is a whole different animal, but doing both jobs was great and makes me want to do it more often! Feels sad to wrap up the arc and move on, but it’s definitely one of my favorite comic experiences. Hulk will always be one of my favorite Marvel heroes. And now with Titan added to the rogues gallery, hopefully we’ll see him again someday in all his fury and glory!”

But when Iron Man's interference causes more harm than good, our two rivals face shocking changes that change the stakes of the battle…for good.

Plot

Thor is possessed by the angry power of the Hulk and is out of control, this occurs due to a gamma explosion that the Hulk himself expelled, apparently this is how the hidden personality Titan works, which infects others with the power of the Hulk /anger . Iron Man fails to stop this fight with his Celestial armor.

Bruce Banner regains control of the Starship Hulk (remember that Odin and Banner are in Hulk's mind) and with Odin's help with mjolnir...Hulk now becomes the god of thunder...Thor and Hulk exchange their personalities for the final battle.

Intense and brutal penultimate chapter.

All this crossover has been illustrated by the same artist, so he has achieved a visual harmony and has captured and raised the script to another level of excellence with his art full of details and epic camera angles.

Este crossover no se contiene en mostrar acción y sorprender en cada página.

Es abrumantemente delicioso, cada secuencia es intensa, sangrienta y se siente el dolor de esta batalla, todo esto se vive en cada panel.

Plot

Iron Man attacks the Hulk with everything using a hybrid version of his technology with that of the Celestials, still unable to contain the power and wrath of the Hulk.

Thor doesn't understand what is happening, but Odin senses that what Banner lost control of the Hulk .

Banner loses control of the Starship Hulk where Hulk doesn't recognize if he's in a simulation, his Gamma energy levels spike and cause an explosion that destroys the Hand of God arena and turns Thor into... Hulk.

This crossover doesn't hold back in showing action and surprise on every page.

Art

It is overwhelmingly delicious, each sequence is intense, bloody and the pain of this battle is felt, all of this is lived in each panel.

Summary

Thor and Iron Man try to stop the Hulk but they don't know what really happens in the mind of the green goliath

Plot

He accomplished this by increasing the ship's energy intensity by 10.

Each level of the Starship Hulk draws energy from torturing the Hulk into his psyche by fighting powerful opponents, level 10 includes unwinnable battles... for example Hulk vs Galactus Hulkfied

President Ross launches an attack on TITAN with a gamma bomb that will kill many other innocent people,alternate Banner kills him and opens a portal for him to absorb the gamma energy from the bomb and take Starship Hulk to another side.

Bruce and Hulk work as a team to control and contain Titan, although they succeed, the threat is still latent and they arrive at another place where they stumble upon a Mjolnir.... thus begins the Hulk Banner of War.

Magnificent, brilliant, intense and amazing first story arc.

Art

It is very detailed in the technological aspects and through many textures it shows Titan for the first time, the art of this chapter raises the level of suspense and tension of this installment.

Bruce faces the most dangerous and deadly transformation of the Hulk...Titan and he will need all the help he can get.

Writer Donny Cates and artist Ryan Ottley will take readers to this exciting new locale in a new story arc beginning in HULK #9. The saga will explore what a society built by Hulks for Hulks would operate like and will introduce a host of new gamma-fueled characters including the planet’s ruler, MONOLITH. 

 

Thoroughly shaken by his battle with Thor in “Banner of War” and by Titan’s impact on his friends, Bruce Banner decides that his best company is himself – and only himself. As he sets Starship Hulk on a far away course, he begins to reckon with what it means to be healthy – and encounters an alternative to isolation he’d never thought to dream of. Bruce finally found what should be the ultimate paradise but he can’t shake thoughts of the past, or the nagging suspicion that Monolith isn’t being totally honest about what she wants from the Hulk.

 

On creating Monolith, Ottley said, “Donny Cates is the kind of writer that feeds the artist what they are best at and pushes them to new heights with what they can do. He’s the type of writer that writes as if he has a billion dollar budget. Which is fine with me! I get to stretch my art skills and go all out. He knows my work well over the years and knows what I can do, and he knows what he wants to see me do. So we work amazingly well together and are having way too much fun slamming this book out and giving it everything we got. I’ve been designing and creating new characters with Donny on this run and issue #9 will be some completely new faces, with the most impactful being Monolith. Bruce Banner lucha contra una versión  de Peter Parker hulkificada, la batalla es intensa mientras Bruce aumenta la intensidad la Starship Hulk, y pasa de luchar contra zombies a luchar contra Asgardianos en su mente (de nivel 4 a 5), por lo tanto vence a Peter Parker, pero de repente aparece Betty Ross en la Starship Hulk y decide activar la nave al maximo al nivel 10.

Mientras tanto el  Presidente Ross tortura al Banner de este planeta alterno, Earth 122 y revela que ha hecho experimentos con los Hulks que Banner ha traído para estudiar.La paliza de Ross a Banner es excesiva.

La Betty Ross que activa el Starship Hulk al máximo es definitivamente otra personalidad de Bruce.

Este capítulo es intenso, sangriento y brillante, la Starship Hulk esta a punto de fallar y puede significar el inicio de una ira descontrolada.

Es el capítulo ilustrado con el mayor detalle en la violencia, cada panel los hara sentir el dolor de todos, Banners y Hulks.

Resumen

Bruce Banner empezó a perder el control de su nave Hulk, cada vez que pierde el control del Goliat verde algo terrible ocurre.

Plot

Bruce Banner fights a hulkified version of Peter Parker, the battle is intense as Bruce ramps up the Starship Hulk, and goes from fighting zombies to fighting Asgardians in his mind (from level 4 to 5), thus defeating Peter Parker, but suddenly Betty Ross appears in the Starship Hulk and decides to activate the ship to the maximum at level 10.

Meanwhile President Ross tortures Banner from this alternate planet, Earth 122 and reveals that he has done experiments on the Hulks that Banner has brought to study. Ross's beating of Banner is excessive.

The Betty Ross who activates the Starship Hulk to its fullest is definitely another personality of Bruce.

This chapter is intense, bloody and brilliant, the Starship Hulk is about to fail and it can mean the beginning of an uncontrolled rage.

Art

It is the chapter illustrated with the greatest detail in violence, each panel will make you feel the pain of all, Banners and Hulks.

Summary

Bruce Banner began to lose control of his Hulk ship, every time he loses control of the green Goliath something terrible happens.
