Trama

Capitan America, Hawkeye, Quicksilver y Scarlet Witch luchan contra el ejército de Grand Skull, la esperada batalla que cierra el pasado de Cap.

John Walker tomó también el manto de Red Skull y le avisa a Steve que quien está detrás de Grand Skull es un fantasma de su pasado.

Steve lucha contra Grand Skull, para descubrir que es Bucky Barnes., quien se unió a The Maker para curar una enfermedad terminal. El cómic muestra flashbacks de la infancia de Bucky y Steve, pero el odio de Bucky se alimentó todos esos años que Steve estaba congelado, se convirtió en un sentimiento doloroso y Capitán América puso fin a eso.

Esta entrega cierra un cabo suelto de esta saga y se distancia de los eventos de Endgame, pero se siente algo apresurada.

La próxima entrega va a Asgard a cerrar otra subtrama.

Arte 

Es orgánico y con texturas que le ofrece un dinamismo y tono dramático adecuados, con ciertas influencias del Manga.

What does it come from?
CAPTAIN AMERICA VS. RED SKULL…A.K.A. BUCKY! Captain America must face the demons of his past…and the old friend who has become his darkest enemy! An explosive confrontation amid the global chaos of Endgame!

Plot

Captain America, Hawkeye, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch battle the Grand Skull's army in the long-awaited fight that brings Cap's past to a close.

John Walker has also taken up the mantle of Red Skull and warns Steve that the one behind the Grand Skull is a ghost from his past.

Steve fights the Grand Skull, only to discover that he is Bucky Barnes, who joined forces with The Maker to cure a terminal illness. The comic shows flashbacks to Bucky and Steve's childhoods, but Bucky's hatred, nurtured during all the years Steve was frozen, became a painful feeling, and Captain America put an end to it.

This installment ties up a loose end in this saga and distances itself from the events of Endgame, but it feels somewhat rushed.

The next installment goes to Asgard to wrap up another subplot.

Art 

It's organic and textured, giving it a suitable dynamism and dramatic tone, with certain manga influences.

The end is slowly approaching with the possible fall of The Maker, however, it seems like they're dragging this out a lot.

Detailed with excellent attention to detail, influenced by comics from the 2000s, but with its own unique style.

THE FIRST SIX ISSUES OF ULTIMATES RETURNS TO COMIC SHOPS WITH NEW PRINTINGS!

This March, the essential first arc of Deniz Camp and Juan Frigeri’s ULTIMATES #1-6 returns with new printings, including an all-new cover by InHyuk Lee!

 

New York, NY— January 22, 2026 — Just as the Ultimate Universe reaches its end, fans will have another chance to experience one of its key opening sagas with new printings of ULTIMATES #1-6 by Deniz Camp, Juan Frigeri, and Phil Noto!

 

All six issues will return to shops with new printings on March 4, just ahead of the release of ULTIMATE ENDGAME #3. Each issue will feature a new version of Dike Ruan’s respective original main cover and a variant cover by InHyuk Lee. InHyuk Lee variant cover for the new printing of ULTIMATES #1 will be an all-new piece while ULTIMATES #2-6 will feature new versions of previous InHyuk Lee ULTIMATES covers. New printings of additional ULTIMATES issues will be announced in the near future, ensuring each and every fan can be prepared for the finale of ULTIMATE ENDGAME!

 

Prior to writing ULTIMATE ENDGAME, the epic conclusion of the Ultimate line, rising superstar Deniz Camp laid the groundwork in his acclaimed run of Ultimates where Tony Stark, a.k.a. Plot
It tells the origin story of Vision, who turns out to be a time-traveling android from 2025 who initially takes the identity of the Human Torch. Since then, he has infiltrated history as a spy, preparing his attack plan to aid the Ultimates, using Wasp as an ally.

The Maker Council created H.A.N.D. and several android versions of Nick Fury, which were eliminated by Vision, though they never discovered how.

The Ultimate version of James Rhodes appears and activates a giant Maker super suit, the ANTI WAR MACHINE, with which he eliminates more than 70 percent of H.A.N.D.'s Helicarriers.

The revelation of Vision and his secret attack plan makes him the perfect ally for the Ultimates.

¡PICADOS POR LA AVISPA! ¡Es la traición definitiva! Avispa ha sido agente doble del Consejo del Maker para proteger a su familia... pero ahora, con el Maker emergiendo, ¡su traición debe responder por ella!

Trama

Janet Van Dyne narra por que se casó con Hank y como su relación fue creciendo en importancia en su vida, cuando Hank casi muere ella decide alistarse con Nick Fury, para poder proteger a su familia, porque ella tuvo una "Visión" del futuro. Janet tiene que revelar que trabaja como espía para que no sean eliminados por Fury.

Esta historia es interesante porque es narrada desde el punto de vista de Janet, que es una mujer decidida y emprendedora, que ama a Hank, a quien pudo ver como un obstáculo pero nunca fue así.

El cómic cierra con la potente revelación, la verdadera Visión que tuvo Janet, ella termina trabajando para la versión Ultimate de VISION!...que es de género femenino y llena de misterio.

Todo está listo para el final de esta saga con Ultimate Endgame que estrena en diciembre.

Arte 

Es orgánico y con texturas que le ofrece un dinamismo y tono dramático adecuados, con ciertas influencias del Manga.

What does it come from?

STUNG BY THE WASP! It's the Ultimate Betrayal! Wasp has been a double agent for the Maker's Council in the name of protecting her family…but now, with the Maker emerging, her treachery must be answered for!

Plot

Janet Van Dyne narrates why she married Hank and how their relationship grew in importance in her life. When Hank is nearly killed, she decides to enlist with Nick Fury to protect her family because she had a "Vision" of the future. Janet has to reveal that she works as a spy to prevent Fury from eliminating them.

This story is interesting because it's told from Janet's point of view. She's a determined and enterprising woman who loves Hank, whom she initially saw as an obstacle, but he never was.

The comic closes with a powerful revelation: Janet's true Vision. She ends up working for the Ultimate version of Vision!... who is female and shrouded in mystery.

Everything is set for the end of this saga with Ultimate Endgame, which premieres in December.

Art

It's organic and textured, offering a suitable dynamism and dramatic tone, with certain manga influences.
