“The really cool thing for me, re-reading the original event, was realizing how many opportunities there were to go deeper into the story,” Gage told Marvel.com in a recent interview. “That’s why we called it Unmasked. It’s an allusion to the literal unmasking required by the Superhuman Registration Act, of course, but it also refers to getting into the heads of some of the main characters to ‘unmask’ why they made some of the consequential decisions they did.”

Trama

Doctor Doom desesperado intenta revivir a Valeria con sus poderes, pero no lo logra por lo que se embarca en un viaje cósmico para lograrlo, primero intenta obligar a los Vishanti, pero su magia no es tan poderosa, por lo que se va hasta The Living Tribunal.

The Living Tribunal le cumple el deseo a Doom, pero con un sacrificia a cambio..su alma y vida.

Valeria Richards regresa a Latveria con sus padres y les cuenta que Doom la salvó.

El planeta completo entra en un estado de caos luego que su emperador desaparece y cede todo, la histeria colectiva toma a la población, mientras unos están a favor de librarse del yugo de Doom, otros quieren que vuelva.

El cómic cierra con Doctor Doom en el laboratorio de Reed Richards, ambos tienen una discusión sobre lo que ocurrió y Doom le entrega a Reed su testamento y muere desvanecido, se desconoce quién es el beneficiario de todos sus bienes.

Este cómic es emotivo, donde Doctor Doom primera vez abre su corazón y se muestra vulnerable.

Plot

Desperate, Doctor Doom tries to revive Valeria with his powers, but fails. He embarks on a cosmic journey to achieve this, first attempting to compel the Vishanti, but their magic is not powerful enough. He then travels to the Living Tribunal.

The Living Tribunal grants Doom's wish, but at a price: his soul and life.

Valeria Richards returns to Latveria with her parents and tells them that Doom saved her.

The entire planet descends into chaos after its emperor disappears and abandons everything. Mass hysteria grips the population; while some want to be free of Doom's rule, others want him back.

The comic closes with Doctor Doom in Reed Richards' laboratory. They discuss what happened, and Doom gives Reed his will before dying in a faint. The beneficiary of all his assets is unknown.

This comic is emotional, as Doctor Doom opens his heart and shows his vulnerability for the first time.

The final pages reveal the "new" Sorceress Supreme, who dresses in scarlet.

An excellent event that consistently portrays Doctor Doom as a leader in various shades of gray, allowing him to justify his actions at times. He walks the fine line between tyranny and democracy, and although it's all a deception, he manages to disguise it perfectly.

Art

It's incredibly detailed, creating a suspenseful atmosphere that blends magic with science fiction in perfect balance with all the heroic poses. The art is as epic as the event itself.

It achieves incredibly dramatic and powerful facial expressions.

Summary

Doctor Doom sacrifices everything to save Valeria in this emotional and brilliantly unexpected finale.

Trama

Doctor Doom tiene a los Avengers, X-men y Fantastic Four apabullados, no los héroes juntos no logran vencerlo, ni la estrategia de Reed Richards como SCIENTIST SUPREME, que casi fallece en el intento.

Plot

Meanwhile, Valeria Richards contacts her godfather Doom on the Astral Plane to try to convince him to stop all this desire to be emperor and prove to everyone that he's better than her and that they were all wrong. Doom sends her back to Earth and ignores all of her requests.

Doctor Doom launches an attack using fractured magical energy crystals, causing all the heroes to fall. What he didn't realize is that Valeria was there. She falls mortally wounded, decapitated, and stabbed by several energy fragments. Doctor Doom mortally wounds the person he cares most about in the world.

A shocking penultimate chapter with the unexpected death of an important figure in the life of Doctor Victor Von Doom.

Trama

Doctor Doom reprime todas las protestas mundiales en su contra y cualquier tipo de comentario de prensa  es censurado, como por ejemplo el Podcast de JJ Jameson.

Los Avengers, X-men y Fantastic Four lanzan un ataque en conjunto mientras Doom está distraído con toda las protestas mundiales, es cuando Reed Richards aprovecha la oportunidad de usar su nueva invención, logra darle una explicación científica a la magia y la logra controlar, se hace llamar SCIENTIST SUPREME, cuya fuente de energía del Plano Astral.

Pero Doom es más habilidoso y logra sacar a Reed del Plano Astral y lo ataca, torturándolo y las consecuencias de esto se verá en el penúltimo capítulo el mes entrante. 

Otra entrega donde la esperanza no tiene cabida con los poderes descomunales de Victor Von Doom.

What does it come from?

Fallout continues from what was revealed last month, and Doom finds his grip on power loosening. But he's not going to give it up without a fight - on several fronts. Doom once sought glory, but that glory is now dead. All that is left is power and control as rebellions in several countries are quickly - and brutally - put down. As Doom prepares to make his final stand, and a world's army stands against him, only a few can see the truth... ...it's not enough. Emperor Doom is going to win. And so Mr. Fantastic prepares a last, desperate gamble...

Plot

Doctor Doom suppresses all worldwide protests against him, and any type of press commentary is censored, such as the JJ Jameson Podcast.

The Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four launch a joint attack while Doom is distracted by all the worldwide protests. Reed Richards seizes the opportunity to use his new invention, manages to give a scientific explanation for magic, and gains control over it. He calls himself SCIENTIST SUPREME, whose power source is from the Astral Plane.

But Doom is more skilled and manages to pull Reed from the Astral Plane and attacks him, torturing him. The consequences of this unfold in the penultimate chapter next month.

Another installment where hope has no place with the enormous powers of Victor Von Doom.

Art

It's very detailed, creating an atmosphere of suspense that blends magic with science fiction in perfect balance with all the heroic poses. The art is as epic as the event.

Trama

Reed Richards reta a Doctor Doom a un debate en vivo donde revela que Doom estuvo al tanto del ataque de los vampiros en Blood Hunt pero no hizo nada porque sabia que podía manipular a Stephen Strange y convertirse así en el Hechicero Supremo.

Pero Doom argumenta que todos los líderes en guerras pasadas han omitido información para lograr una victoria, hasta comparo como Iron Man, Avengers y X-men no han revelado su tecnología y sabiduría para hacer un mundo mejor, la gente apoya a Doom, porque su carisma es poderoso.

Mientras este debate se lleva a cabo, Black Widow, Sue Storm y Scarlet Witch logran entrar a Latveria por una grieta que descubrió la inteligencia de S.H.I.E.L.D con Maria Hill. En Latveria ellas descubren que toda la ciudad es una holograma y que sus habitantes están atrapados en una cárcel mágica que absorbe su futuro y fuerza vital, esa energía la usa Doctor Doom para hacer más potentes sus hechizos.

Reed Richards recibe la información y video, lo muestra al mundo y Doom se desenmascara y acepta que el dolor de muchos es necesario para su proyecto y detiene la transmisión en vivo y estira la cara de Reed de manera dolorosa y que parece irreversible.

Este evento mejora con cada entrega que ofrece giros impactantes y misteriosos, con la revelación clave para saber parte del plan de Doom.

Es muy detallado, crea una atmósfera de suspenso que mezcla magia con ciencia ficción en el perfecto balance con todas las poses heroicas, el arte es tan épico como el evento.

What does it come from?

Doom's reign has been a success for months - with even some of the heroes questioning if they're on the right side. A final desperate gamble is conceived, and Reed reveals a terrible secret he's acquired about Doom's global domination - but will it be enough? And what has Doom been hiding under that Latverian Dome? All is revealed - at terrible cost! It's the beginning of the end for some, and the beginning of a new age for others...

Plot

Reed Richards challenges Doctor Doom to a live debate, where he reveals that Doom was aware of the vampire attack in Blood Hunt but did nothing because he knew he could manipulate Stephen Strange and thus become the Sorcerer Supreme.

But Doom argues that all leaders in past wars have withheld information to achieve victory. He even compares how Iron Man, the Avengers, and the X-Men have withheld their technology and wisdom to make a better world. People support Doom because of his powerful charisma.

While this debate is taking place, Black Widow, Sue Storm, and Scarlet Witch manage to enter Latveria through a rift discovered by S.H.I.E.L.D. intelligence through Maria Hill. In Latveria, they discover that the entire city is a hologram and that its inhabitants are trapped in a magical prison that absorbs their future and life force. Doctor Doom uses this energy to make his spells more powerful.

Reed Richards receives the information and video, shows it to the world, and Doom unmasks himself and accepts that the pain of many is necessary for his project. He stops the live stream, stretching Reed's face in a painful and seemingly irreversible way.

This event improves with each installment, offering shocking and mysterious twists, with the key revelation revealing part of Doom's plan.
