New York, NY— February 24, 2026 — For 50 years, Marvel Comics has dared to ask WHAT IF?, putting bold twists on major Marvel moments and opening the floodgates to the multiverse! To celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the original What If? series, Marvel will publish eight all-new WHAT IF…? one-shots this summer. Crafted by some of today’s biggest talents, the new one-shots shake the foundations of every corner of the Marvel mythos beginning with startling stories starring the X-Men and Thor and continuing with epic reimaginings of pivotal storylines like Secret Wars and Kraven’s Last Hunt!

“In 1972 I was a fledgling comics writer who mostly wrote short 2 to 8 page ‘monster’ stories when Editor Roy Thomas asked if I’d like to write Tomb of Dracula, my very first series for Marvel, and the book that would jump-start my career,” Wolfman recollected. “So it is a real thrill now that 50-plus years later Marvel asked me to once again dive into that pool with this very special What If…? story, and to bring back that great cast of characters that artist Gene Colan and I created so many years ago. Thank you, Marvel, for giving me the chance to play with old friends one last time.“

Miles Morales incarnates in the body of Wolverine, his powers manifest in 1981 and in 2022 he continues to fight without aging, trying to understand what happened to his brother.

Sabretooth and Sentinels arrive to make life miserable for Miles, but his attitude towards life always centers on the morals taught by his parents.

ART

It is detailed and achieves two aesthetics perfectly, that of the year 1981 and that of 2022.

Resume

Miles has the power and claws of Wolverine but the love and education of his family make him different.

TRAMA

Miles Morales vive en un mundo alterno sin Spider-man, pero su padre y tío trabajan en el proyecto del supersoldado y un desafortunado accidente transforma a Miles en el nuevo super soldado desde Steve Rogers.

Este mundo alterno hay personajes conocidos que poseen una vida parecida, Miles se debe enfrentar a un enemigo muy conocido cuya arma es increíblemente peligrosa.

ARTE

Tiene mucha texturas y mezcla muy bien la esencia de Miles, que mezcla las poses de Capitán América con las de Spider-man. Los colores son muy brillantes.

Resumen

Interesante reimaginación de los mitos de Marvel con Miles Morales que no importa el universo, su fuerte determinación a hacer justicia es la misma.

PLOT

Miles Morales lives in an alternate world without Spider-man, but his father and uncle work on the super-soldier project and an unfortunate accident transforms Miles into the new super-soldier since Steve Rogers.

In this alternate world there are well-known characters who have a similar life, Miles must face a well-known enemy whose weapon is incredibly dangerous.

ART

It has a lot of textures and mixes very well the essence of Miles, who mixes the poses of Captain America with those of Spider-man. The colors are very bright.

Summary

Interesting reimagining of the Marvel mythos with Miles Morales that no matter the universe, his strong determination to do justice is the same.

New York, NY— December 10, 2021 — Captain Carter, the fan-favorite character recently featured in Marvel Studios’ What If will report for duty in her very own comic series this March! Prolific creator Jamie McKelvie, known for his defining work on characters like Captain Marvel and the Young Avengers, will now use his acclaimed talents to bring this Marvel super hero to the forefront of Marvel Comics canon, writing the series and designing the character’s brand-new look. McKelvie will be joined by rising star artist Marika Cresta, known for her recent work on STAR WARS: DOCTOR APHRA.

 

The five-issue limited series will introduce Captain Carter in an adventure that will find Peggy Carter as a woman out of time, facing the reappearance of an old foe in modern day and deciding what she stands for as the wielder of the shield. 

 

A reality where Agent Peggy Carter took the Super-Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers is turned upside down when the World War II hero is pulled from the ice where she was lost in action decades before. And this March, prepare to see Miles Morales take on the legacy of even more of your favorite Marvel heroes in a new series titled WHAT IF…MILES MORALES. This new spin on the classic WHAT IF series will explore the Marvel Comics multiverse and answer the question “What if Miles Morales followed in the footsteps of a Marvel hero other than Spider-Man?” Each issue, all-star creators will introduce the saga of a new version of Miles Morales and it all begins with writer Cody Ziglar, artist Paco Medina and the friendly neighborhood… CAPTAIN AMERICA!

 

What if…Miles Morales had never been bitten by a genetically enhanced spider and became Spider-Man?
