Ghost Machine Productions lanza REDCOAT un nuevo personaje que lo conocimos en los dos especiales GEIGER 80-PAGE GIANT #1 (2022) y GHOST MACHINE #1 ONE-SHOT (2024), del escritor Geoff Johns, el artista Bryan Hitch, que narra las aventuras de un casi héroe de guerra que forma parte del universo de los UNNAMED que incluye a Geiger y Junkyard Joe.

Trama
El 17 de Julio de 1864 en plena Guerra Civil en EE.UU cuando una niña espía se roba un misterioso bolso y esta por ser asesinada aparece como una explosion THE NORTHERNER, quien con armas del futuro la salva y quema toda esta información de espías, el viene a cambiar los hechos del pasado.
Por otro lado Simon Pure trabajaba como un mensajero para ambos bandos de la guerra, en un punto neutro, vive feliz entre las guerras sin participar. Simon es contratado por el misterioso Cobbler para llevar a Atlanta un documento al General John Bell Hood, Simon acepta por el gran tamaño de la paga.
En la noche cuando se preparaba para dormir luego de mucho alcohol, es visitado por Northerner, quien le pide ayuda para detener la caída de la nación, que puede significar la propia muerte de Simon.
Esta entrega marca el inicio de una nueva era para los guerreros UNNAMED, quienes están conectados de una manera misteriosa que está por ser revelada, Redcoat, Geiger y Junkyard Joe son claves para detener guerras y las respuestas las tiene THE NORTHENER.
Arte
Bryan Hitch ofrece su visión cinematográfica, dónde dirige secuencias de acción hipnotizantes y captura los detalles y tonos de cada época de antaño. Los colores crean la atmósfera perfecta de una época ruda de posguerra.
Tiene un manejo de las escalas hipnotizante, transporta y te sacude con visiones realistas impactantes en un formato muy parecido al cinematográfico.

Plot
On July 17, 1864, in the midst of the American Civil War, when a girl spy steals a mysterious purse and is about to be killed, THE NORTHERNER appears like an explosion, saving her with weapons from the future and burning all this spy information, coming to change the events of the past.
On the other hand, Simon Pure worked as a messenger for both sides of the war, in a neutral position, living happily between the wars without participating. Simon is hired by the mysterious Cobbler to deliver a document to General John Bell Hood in Atlanta. Simon accepts due to the generous pay.
At night, as he prepares to go to sleep after drinking heavily, he is visited by THE NORTHERNER, who asks for his help in stopping the fall of the nation, which could mean Simon's own death.
This installment marks the beginning of a new era for the UNNAMED warriors, who are connected in a mysterious way yet to be revealed. Redcoat, Geiger, and Junkyard Joe are key to stopping wars, and THE NORTHERN ENER holds the answers.
Art
Bryan Hitch offers his cinematic vision, directing mesmerizing action sequences and capturing the details and tones of each era. The colors create the perfect atmosphere of a harsh post-war era.
His mesmerizing command of scale transports and shocks you with striking realistic visions in a very cinematic format.
Summary
Simón Pure's first encounter with The Northerner marks the beginning of a new era for the universe of Geiger and Junkyard Joe. All that is known is that The Northerner knows what will happen in the future.
