Este verano, Peter Parker y Frank Castle reviven recuerdos dolorosos en Punisher vs. Spider-Man, una nueva miniserie de cinco números que detalla algunos de sus primeros encuentros en el Universo Marvel.

Poco después del primer enfrentamiento entre Punisher y Spider-Man en las páginas de AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #129, el guionista Dan Abnett (IMPERIAL GUARDIANS) y el dibujante Matteo Della Fonte (NOVA: CENTURION) obligan a Peter Parker y Frank Castle a dejar de lado sus diferencias por el bien común… hasta que, inevitablemente, vuelven a enfrentarse.

«Estoy muy contento de escribir sobre estos dos personajes en un duelo, y de retomar a Punisher, un personaje que no escribía desde YEAR ONE en los noventa», explica Abnett. «La serie es muy divertida, llena de acción y con sorpresas genuinas a medida que descubren cosas el uno del otro por primera vez. Esa es la verdadera alegría de volver a este punto crucial de la continuidad: hay una frescura en sus encuentros e interacciones que creo que los lectores disfrutarán mucho».

Dan Abnett and Matteo Della Fonte shine the spotlight on the early days of Peter Parker and Frank Castle’s not-so-friendly relationship this July.

 

New York, NY— April 17, 2026 — This summer Peter Parker and Frank Castle take a walk down memory pain in PUNISHER VS. SPIDER-MAN, an all-new five issue limited series detailing some of the duo’s earliest encounters in the Marvel Universe.

 

Taking place shortly after Punisher’s debut dust-up with Spider-Man in the pages of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #129, writer Dan Abnett (IMPERIAL GUARDIANS) and artist Matteo Della Fonte (NOVA: CENTURION) force Peter Parker and Frank Castle to set aside their differences for the greater good… until they inevitably turn on one another once again.

 

“I'm very happy to be writing these two characters in a head-to-head together, and to be revisiting the Punisher, a character I haven’t written since YEAR ONE in the nineties,” explains Abnett. “The series is a whole lot of fun and full of big action, and some genuine surprises as they learn stuff about each other for the first time. That’s the real joy of going back to this pivotal early point in continuity: there’s a freshness in their encounters and interactions that I think readers are really going to get a kick out of.”

 

THE PUNISHER AND SPIDER-MAN, two of the most notorious names in New York City with very different approaches to making the Big Apple safer (or not, depending on who you ask!). Brought together by happenstance and forced to stay that way by an ally from Frank Castle’s past in need, will the web-slinger and the gunslinger be able to begrudgingly set aside their differences before they find themselves at one another’s throats?!
