El vaquero Shaolin se enfrenta a una gélida bienvenida al abandonar su retiro en el páramo en una misión de misericordia, siguiendo al considerado cónsul de una golondrina del desierto y un sapo cornudo, ambas especies en peligro de extinción. Pero ninguna tan amenazada como el ex monje errante, quien, una vez más, descubre en este típico pueblito estadounidense que la eutanasia es el nuevo arancel a las importaciones extranjeras.

Trama y Arte
La meditación de Shaolin Cowboy es interrumpida por una hoja que voló desde un lugar lejano hasta el desierto donde reside este justiceiro errante, quien descubre una nota en una botella que el esqueleto de una mano tenía atrapada.
La carta es escrita por el hijo de Bernice Desmoines, quien pide al que lea esta carta que le diga asu madre cuál fue su destino, en la carta incluye que Bernice trabaja en The Meating Place en la Ruta 88, que su novio inmigrante Merle Vance es un abusador que golpeaba al perro Pedro.
Shaolin Cowboy luego de conversar con una pájaro, una lagartija y un sapo, se termina de convencer que debe llevar esta carta hasta Bernice, por lo que se aventura a este lugar desconocido, donde empieza a seguir una serie de pistas para dar con el paradero de Bernice.
Esta ciudad está atravesando un estado de paranoia anti inmigrante intensa, donde misteriosamente en las noticias presentan una imagen generada por A.I. de un supuesto terrorista, que coincide justamente con las características físicas de Shaolin Cowboy, por lo que empieza a ser atacado por todos aquellos que lo identifican.
Shaolin Cowboy se topa con Pedro, el perro del hijo de Bernice, quien le va a ayudar a conseguirla.
La secuencia donde Shaolin Cowboy se enfrenta a una pickup es ALUCINANTE y mostrada cuadro a cuadro.
El arte mantiene ese cantidad hipnotizante de detalles, con muchos mensajes escondidos que lo hacen una obra de arte, es un cómic cuya lectura debe ser hacha con detenimiento porque es un deleite visual, con una sensación cinematográfica donde sientes que hay secuencias de acción que ocurren en cámara lenta.
Resumen
Shaolin Cowboy lleva a cabo una misión altruista de entregar una carta perdida de un hijo fallecido a su madre, lo que le hace aventurarse en una ciudad intolerante a los inmigrantes

Plot and Art
Shaolin Cowboy's meditation is interrupted by a leaf that flew from a distant place to the desert where this wandering vigilante resides. He discovers a note in a bottle, trapped by the skeleton of a hand.
The letter is written by Bernice Desmoines' son, who asks whoever reads it to tell his mother what became of her. The letter reveals that Bernice works at The Meating Place on Route 88 and that her immigrant boyfriend, Merle Vance, is an abuser who beat her dog, Pedro.
After speaking with a bird, a lizard, and a toad, Shaolin Cowboy becomes convinced that he must deliver this letter to Bernice. He ventures into this unknown place, where he begins to follow a series of clues to find her.
This city is experiencing a wave of intense anti-immigrant paranoia, and mysteriously, the news is showing an image generated by AI. of a supposed terrorist, who perfectly matches Shaolin Cowboy's physical characteristics, leading to him being attacked by everyone who recognizes him.
Shaolin Cowboy encounters Pedro, Bernice's son's dog, who will help him find her.
The sequence where Shaolin Cowboy faces off against a pickup truck is AMAZING and shown frame by frame.
The artwork maintains a mesmerizing amount of detail, with many hidden messages that make it a work of art. It's a comic that should be read carefully because it's a visual delight, with a cinematic feel where you feel like there are action sequences happening in slow motion.
Summary
Shaolin Cowboy carries out an altruistic mission to deliver a lost letter from a deceased son to his mother, which leads him to venture into a city intolerant of immigrants
