¿De qué viene?

Trama

Arch y el general Ursus son salvados por Zira y Cornelius que traen consigo al Yautja ya curado, quien elimina a los soldados que se rebelaron contra Ursus.

El Yautja se adentra a la zona prohibida que son las ruinas de la ciudad de Nueva York bajo tierra, en este lugar se encuentran con una secta de humanos que sobrevivieron a la guerra nuclear y posee poder psíquico, ellos controla al Yautja y ahora lo van a usar como arma para eliminar a todos para poder activar su misil nuclear llamado DOOMSDAY BOMB y aniquilar toda la humanidad. 

Excelente crossover entre estos dos universos, que impactaron a la cultura pop de diferentes maneras y ahora conviven en esta historia que comienza muy bien.

Arte

Es detallado donde ofrecen una visión de tecnología retro que captura los cómics de la década de 1980 donde ambas franquicias tuvieron diferentes sagas de comics, es magnífico con una paleta de colores que recuerda las versiones fílmicas de ambos universos.

What does it come from?

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST BEGINS IN THE FORBIDDEN ZONE! •A terrifying fight for survival is about to begin! CORNELIUS and GENERAL URSUS are tracking the deadly threat to APE SOCIETY along with their new captive, the human ARCH. •But the Forbidden Zone holds many secrets -- including one that could unleash mass extinction! Who will be strong enough to survive?!

Plot

Arch and General Ursus are saved by Zira and Cornelius, who bring along the now-healed Yautja; he eliminates the soldiers who had rebelled against Ursus.

The Yautja ventures into the Forbidden Zone—the underground ruins of New York City—where they encounter a cult of humans who survived the nuclear war and possess psychic powers. These humans take control of the Yautja, intending to use him as a weapon to eliminate everyone else so they can activate their nuclear missile, the "Doomsday Bomb," and annihilate all of humanity.

This is an excellent crossover between two universes that have made distinct impacts on pop culture; they now coexist in a story that gets off to a great start.

Art

The detailed artwork offers a vision of retro technology that captures the feel of the 1980s comics—an era when both franchises had their own comic book series. It is magnificent, featuring a color palette reminiscent of the film versions of both universes.
