This January, AVENGERS #34, the milestone 800^th issue of AVENGERS, will feature a story by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley, marking Bendis’ first Marvel Comics work since 2018.

This January, BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS returns to the Marvel Universe in AVENGERS #34, the landmark 800^th issue of AVENGERS. The issue by current Avengers creative team, writer Jed MacKay and artist Farid Karami, will feature a special 14-page backup story written by Bendis and drawn by superstar artist Mark Bagley, reuniting the powerhouse pair known for their work together on Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble.

Emma es una joven brillante cuya vida acaba de cambiar por un multimillonario que dice que sus padres perdidos hace mucho tiempo eran en realidad ladrones MUY famosos. Tomaron al multimillonario más famoso del mundo por mil millones... antes de desaparecer para nunca más ser vistos ni saber de ellos. Y ahora quiere venganza, de ELLA. Sigue a Emma mientras ingresa al mundo que sus padres dejaron atrás y se encuentra cara a cara con PARAGON. Todo esto cobra vida gracias al increíble pincel de Alex Maleev.

Trama

Emma y Lawrence ven un película producida por ZERO PRESTON que muestran cómo dos ladrones le roban a un millonario malvado, al parecer esta película está basada en el robo que los padres de Emma ejecutaron hace años.

Gleason le pide a Emma que se vaya con él a un lugar seguro y se esconda, pero Emma quiere enfrentar a Preston, es cuando Lawrence le muestra a Gleason el misterioso señor que salvó a Emma y Lawrence del ataque de uno de los empleados de Preston. Gleason les revela que este misterioso vigilante se llama Paragon.

Paragon era un especie de justiciero que le daba palizas a aquellas personas famosas o celebridades que abusan de otras personas, al parecer trabajó varias veces con el padre de Emma, mientras uno robaba, Paragon le daba una paliza a quien robaban. Paragon es ahora algo viejo, pero sigue siendo letal.

Emma abre el pendrive que Preston le entregó para descubrir que este multimillonario quiere que ella robe a  Katie Roots, otra millonaria. Emma les propone a todos seguir la misión que le envió Preston, pero todo parece ser una trampa, porque Preston le avisa a Roots sobre una joven que quiere robarla.

Apasionante segunda entrega sigue mezclando el género de espías con el de ladrones en un balance perfecto introduciendo a un justiciero genial.

Arte

Está lleno de texturas y detalles que ofrecen un dinamismo cinematográfico interesante, ya te imaginas que puede ser el elenco de la futura adaptación en acción en vivo de este cómic.

Resumen

Emma debe seguirle el juego a Preston para poder descubrir más de su pasado, para eso necesitará ayuda.

What does it come from?

Emma is a brilliant young woman whose life was just turned upside down by a billionaire who says that her long lost parents were in fact VERY famous thieves. They took the world's most famous billionaire for a cool billion... before they disappeared never to be seen or heard from again. And now he wants revenge, from HER. Follow Emma as she enters into the world her parents left behind and come face to face with the PARAGON. All this brought to life by the amazing brush of Alex Maleev.

Plot

Emma and Lawrence watch a film produced by ZERO PRESTON that shows how two thieves rob an evil millionaire. Apparently this film is based on the robbery that Emma's parents carried out years ago.

Gleason asks Emma to go with him to a safe place and hide, but Emma wants to confront Preston, when Lawrence shows Gleason the mysterious man who saved Emma and Lawrence from the attack of one of Preston's employees. Gleason reveals to them that this mysterious vigilante is called Paragon.

Paragon was a kind of vigilante who beat up those famous people or celebrities who abuse other people, apparently he worked several times with Emma's father, while one stole, Paragon beat up whoever stole. Paragon is a bit old now, but still deadly.

Emma opens the flash drive Preston gave her to discover that this billionaire wants her to rob Katie Roots, another millionaire. Emma proposes that they all follow the mission that Preston sent her, but everything seems to be a trap, because Preston warns Roots about a young woman who wants to steal her.

Exciting second installment continues to mix the spy genre with the thief genre in a perfect balance, introducing a cool vigilante.

Art

It is full of textures and details that offer interesting cinematic dynamism, you already imagine that it could be the cast of the future live action adaptation of this comic.

Summary

Emma must play along with Preston in order to discover more of her past, for that she will need help.
