Trama

Jian adquirió una serie de poderes luego de haber sido expuesta a una bomba del misterioso elemento de otro mundo llamado ENKELADITE, cuando nació GIANT ROBOT HELLBOY.

Las nuevas habilidades de Jian son desconocidas.

Ella forma parte de una elite de espías con habilidades únicas integradas pro Kali, Asra, Ruby, Cleo y Sigrid. Una nueva misión importante surge, cuando Mr Kane, su conexión con otras agencias de espías le asigna la búsqueda del temible Doctor Zandor Szasz, responsable de seguir realizando experimentos en humanos con el Enkeladite.

El Doctor Zandor Szasz tiene en su poder una arma llamada E-RAY, con la que tiene amenazado al mundo a cambio de dinero, las agentes se van a dividir en pares para investigar los posibles lugares donde está la base secreta de Zandor. Jian y Ruby se van a Macao, Kali y Cleo a Bermudas y Asra con Sigrid van a los Alpes Suizos.

Asra y Sigrid se topan con los nuevos experimentos de Zandor, Brock y Stillet.

Emocionante historia que mezcla el género de espionaje con el de ciencia ficción con mucho poder femenino en un velo de misterio interesante, magnífica nueva serie derivada del clásico de culto instantáneo GIANT ROBOT HELLBOY.

Arte

Avon Oeming ofrece su arte único que mezcla esa anatomías con curvaturas, presentando un lenguaje corporal que define cada una de las secuencias, apoyado por una paleta de colores que tienen un tono sepia en general que nos traslada a ese pasado con esa estética de la década de los 70 inspirado en series como los Ángeles de Charlie pero más oscuro.

Plot

Jian acquired a set of powers after being exposed to a bomb containing the mysterious, otherworldly element known as Enkeladite—an event that coincided with the birth of Giant Robot Hellboy.

The full extent of Jian's new abilities remains unknown.

She is part of an elite spy team featuring unique talents, alongside Kali, Asra, Ruby, Cleo, and Sigrid. A major new mission arises when Mr. Kane—their liaison to other intelligence agencies—tasks them with tracking down the dreaded Doctor Zandor Szasz, who is continuing to conduct human experiments using Enkeladite.

Doctor Zandor Szasz possesses a weapon called the E-Ray, which he is using to hold the world to ransom. The agents split into pairs to investigate potential locations for Zandor's secret base: Jian and Ruby head to Macau, Kali and Cleo go to Bermuda, and Asra and Sigrid travel to the Swiss Alps.

Asra and Sigrid stumble upon Zandor's latest experiments: Brock and Stillet.

This is a thrilling story that blends espionage and science fiction, driven by female empowerment and a compelling air of mystery; it is a magnificent spin-off series from the instant cult classic *Giant Robot Hellboy*.

Art

Avon Oeming delivers his signature art style, featuring stylized, curvaceous anatomy and expressive body language that defines every sequence. The work is supported by a predominantly sepia-toned color palette that evokes a 1970s aesthetic—reminiscent of *Charlie's Angels*, but with a darker edge.

Summary

After surviving the events of Giant Robot Hellboy, Jian becomes an enhanced spy tasked with stopping a mad scientist in this new saga filled with mystery, science fiction, and suspense.

Excelente cierre de esta nueva aventura que mezcla kaijus con el universo de Hellboy, sin embargo hubiese sido genial más capítulos, porque este universo es increíblemente atractivo.

Duncan Fregedo crea la atmósfera de terror, misterio y acción perfectas que eleva el tono de misterios con su arte tan orgánico y detallado, donde ahora nos presenta nuevos seres y monstruos espeluznantes en el fondo del mar.

What does it come from?

Still searching for Giant Robot Hellboy, the submarine loses contact with the lab above water when the uncharted waters lead to a truly unknown and terrifying location.

New two-parter that continues the story from Giant Robot Hellboy and connects more deeply to Hellboy and B.P.R.D. lore.

Plot

Leo and the crew explore this new world filled with strange beings when they are attacked by a species of giant ants that try to eat the ship's hull and trap them, torturing them.

GIANT ROBOT HELLBOY activates the ENKELADITE portal and saves Leo and the remaining crew, confronting a giant monster and helping them escape through the portal. Hellboy Robot speaks normally and has a mind of its own.

An excellent conclusion to this new adventure that blends kaiju with the Hellboy universe. However, more chapters would have been fantastic, because this universe is incredibly captivating.

Duncan Fregedo creates the perfect atmosphere of terror, mystery, and action, elevating the mysteries with his organic and detailed art, where he now introduces us to new, terrifying beings and monsters in the depths of the sea.

En octubre, Mignola y el artista Cyrille Pomès (Moon, 6,000 Miles to Freedom) retomarán la icónica saga de Hellboy in Hell con Hellboy in Hell: Nothing But Blood. 

En diciembre, Mignola se reunirá con Márk László, dibujante de Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: Time is a River, para Hellboy In Hell: Parade of Horrors, un evento de cómics de dos números en el que Hellboy asiste al funeral del Diablo. Escrita por Mignola, con arte de László, color de Dave Stewart y rotulación de Clem Robins, ambas ediciones de Hellboy In Hell: Parade of Horrors contarán con portadas de László; una portada alternativa de Mignola para el número 1 y otra de Bridgit Connell para el número 2.

«No tenía planeado regresar al infierno de Hellboy; desde luego, no creía que dejaría entrar a nadie más.
