¿De qué viene?
¡EL PROTECTOR DE ST. CANARD ESTÁ DE VUELTA EN ACCIÓN!
Él es el terror que aletea en la noche... Él es el ave feroz que arranca el mal de ojo de la cara del juego sucio... ¡Él es Darkwing Duck! ¡Junto a su fiel compañero Lauchpad McQuack, Darkwing defiende hipervigilante a St. Canard de los cobardes y diabólicos demonios que librarían una guerra sin sentido! Por la noche, nuestro defensor con capa acecha en las sombras, infundiendo miedo (¿y tal vez confusión?) en el corazón del inframundo criminal... pero de día, nadie sospecha que Darkwing es también un Drake Mallard afable, un bien intencionado padre de su adorable hija adoptiva, Gosalyn! ¿Puede Darkwing navegar con éxito en sus dos vidas separadas, todo mientras se ve increíblemente genial e imposiblemente guapo? En la inauguración de la nueva estatua de Darwin, el villano Megavolt aparece y mediante su poder de control de electricidad, controla los cuerpos y mentes de todos aquellos que tiene un teléfono inteligente, convirtiendo a la ciudad en un ejército de sus secuaces, Darwin logra escapara (porque Darwin no le gustan los teléfonos) con la ayuda de Launchpad.
Pero cuando Rosita está atrapada, Darwin realiza un sacrificio que logra revertir el poder de control de Megavolt y salva a la ciudad.
El cómic captura el tono de la serie animada original de Patoaventuras que incluye comedia autoconsciente y un tono noir de detectives.
Arte
Logra el tono/diseños exacto de la serie animada de Ducktales, brindando esa nostalgia pero al mismo tiempo la refresca con ángulos audaces.
Resumen
Darwin regresa con mucha comedia acción y proezas dignas de los más grandes superhéroes.

He is the terror that flaps in the night...He is the ferocious fowl who plucks the evil eye from the face of foul play...He is Darkwing Duck! Alongside his trusty sidekick Lauchpad McQuack, Darkwing hyper-vigilantly defends St. Canard from the dastardly, devilish demons who would wage wanton war! By night, our caped defender lurks in the shadows, striking fear (and maybe confusion?) in the heart of the criminal underworld...but by day, no one suspects that Darkwing is also mild-mannered Drake Mallard, a well-meaning father to his adorable adopted daughter, Gosalyn! Can Darkwing successfully navigate his two separate lives, all while looking incredibly cool and impossibly handsome? (Hint: Probably not, but...) You'll have to read to find out!
Plot
At the inauguration of the new statue of Darwin, the villain Megavolt appears and through his power to control electricity, he controls the bodies and minds of all those who have a smartphone, turning the city into an army of his minions, Darwin achieves escape (because Darwin doesn't like phones) with the help of Launchpad.
But when Rosita is trapped, Darwin performs a sacrifice that reverses Megavolt's power to control and saves the city.
The comic captures the tone of the original DuckTales animated series that includes self-aware comedy and a detective noir tone.
Art
It achieves the exact tone/designs of the DuckTales animated series, bringing that nostalgia but at the same time refreshing it with bold angles.
Resume
Darwin returns with a lot of comedy action and feats worthy of the greatest superheroes.
