New York, NY— April 18, 2024 — This summer, Marvel Comics is bringing fans a battle for the ages when the Aliens and the Avengers face off! The upcoming ALIENS VS. AVENGERS comic series is written by visionary creator Jonathan Hickman with stunning artwork by Esad Ribić. This is the latest comic in Marvel’s 20th Century Studios imprint, and the first crossover of Marvel and Aliens.

The four-part epic is set in a new timeline many years in the future and features older, grittier versions of Marvel characters. It also will be the first-time readers will see certain parts of Alien lore in the Marvel Universe – like the home of the Engineers. In this unmissable series, Xenomorphs reach Earth, and the perfect organism meets a planet of superhumans. But who will be first to fall?

¿De qué viene?

Thanos hace sus movimientos finales para destruir nuestro mundo. ¿Pueden los Eternos resolver sus diferencias con los Vengadores a tiempo para hacer algo al respecto?

TRAMA

Ajak descubre que la verdadera misión de los Eternals es contener la existencia de los Deviants, quienes son los únicos que pueden controlar el Necrofluid, substancia que puede significar la destrucción del mundo, pero los Eternals deben contenerlos y cualquier exceso que tengan ya que ellos pueden perder el control y destruirse a sí mismos. 

Mientras Tanto Thanos descubre con Druig que su cuerpo ha sido modificado y ahora es muy diferente a la fisonomía Deviant o Eternal y se cree superior, por lo que decide que va a activar las armas de Urano para acabar con el Planeta, pero Druig lo engaña y destruye su cuerpo y al eliminar el Eternal Prime, toda esta cuenta regresiva se detiene.

What does it come from?

Thanos makes his final moves to destroy our world. Can the Eternals settle their differences with the Avengers in time to do anything about it?

PLOT

Ajak discovers that the true mission of the Eternals is to contain the existence of the Deviants, who are the only ones who can control the Necrofluid, a substance that can mean the destruction of the world, but the Eternals must contain them and any excess they have since they can lose control and destroy themselves.

Meanwhile, Thanos discovers with Druig that his body has been modified and is now very different from the Deviant or Eternal physiognomy and he thinks he is superior, so he decides that he is going to activate the weapons of Uranus to end the Planet, but Druig tricks him. and destroy his body and by removing the Eternal Prime, this whole countdown stops.

The Avengers ask for answers about what is happening and Sersi explains to them. Celestia lives in peace now.

In Olympia, Druig now controls the Machine and discovers that there are many Deviants on Krakoa and decides that he must eliminate them.

The Eternals are on a pilgrimage together. Well, depends on who you ask — for it’s not so much a pilgrimage...and more like breaking and entering into Avengers Mountain. But what the Avengers don’t know won’t hurt them…right?

PLOT

Thanos continues to torture Phastos in order to achieve the fusion with the Machine, however, not achieving much, he proceeds to torture father and mother, the technology shown that uses crystals gives it a spectacular tone.

Meanwhile Thena, Ikaris, Sprite, Ajak, Kingo, Makari and Sersi arrive at Avengers Mountain, to see if they can activate the Celestial's brain and discover how to defeat Thanos using the Machine. This is an espionage mission where Sersi is going to seduce Namor, something that is very funny because Tony Stark is suspicious of what is happening, while this is happening, Sprite, Kingo, Makari and Ajak are invisible... but the Avengers are suspicious.

Thanos has a new weapon that can kill many innocents in seconds.

This chapter is full of mystery, espionage, terror and some humor, as everything prepares for a war with the Avengers.

ART

Amazing, full of details and with that unique stamp of Esad Ribic, the colors provide that futuristic tone of a technology that seems to come from heaven, it is a visual delight.

Summary

As Thanos gets closer to figuring out how to use the machine for his nefarious ends, the Eternals infiltrate the Avengers base to try to get ahead of Thanos.

Phastos sabe como es el complejo organismo de Thanos, una fusion imposible entre Eternal y Deviant, le deja esa pista a Kingo, quien se agrupa con Ikaris, Sersi, Thena, Sprite y van hasta Celestia, la ciudad de descanso de los Celestials custodiada por Ajak y Makkari.

Ajak dice que para entender la relación entre Eternals y Deviants deben analizar un Celestial y el que tiene más cerca es el que está muerto, en la sede Avengers Mountain...

Este capítulo sigue sorprendiendo con revelaciones intensas.

Posee dos ilustradores que balancean la historia con éxito, Esad Ribic se encarga de la introducción y cierre, mientras Guiu Vilanova se encarga del desarrollo. Los colores se mantiene  en una paleta pastel suave.

PLOT

Thanos arrives in Lemuria to look for Phastos in order to control the machine and fix the disease that his body has affected, this Thanos attack is brutal and kills many Deviants.

Thena must sacrifice her love.

Phastos knows what Thanos's complex organism is like, an impossible fusion between Eternal and Deviant, he leaves that clue to Kingo, who groups with Ikaris, Sersi, Thena, Sprite and goes to Celestia, the Celestials' rest city guarded by Ajak and Makkari.

Ajak says that to understand the relationship between Eternals and Deviants they must analyze a Celestial and the one closest to him is the one that is dead, in the Avengers Mountain headquarters...

This chapter continues to surprise with intense revelations.

ART

It has two illustrators who successfully balance the story, Esad Ribic is in charge of the introduction and closing, while Guiu Vilanova is in charge of development. The colors are kept in a soft pastel palette.

Druig no recuerda lo que paso antes de su muerte, ya que su cerebro es reiniciado. Thanos intenta usar la máquina para curar su cuerpo que tiene una enfermedad terminal, pero el único que sabe hacer eso es Phastos, por lo que Thanos se va a Lemuria.

En Lemuria, Thena descubre que su pareja Talau tiene una enfermedad que es parte de la transformación en monstruos y al parecer es activado por Kro, por lo que tensión entre Eternals y Deviants crece.

Este capítulo aumenta la tensión entre Eternas y Deviants, mientras que Thanos intenta curarse.

Esad Ribic es sencillamente alucinante, un impronta personal tan característica y única.

After discovering that when an Eternal is resurrected, a human dies, Ikaris, Sersi, Thena, Phastos and Kingo go to live in Lemuria, the world of the Deviants to seek peace and try to understand how to stop the resurrection process. Ikaris imparts justice in Lemuria, protecting the Deviants from themselves.

Meanwhile Thanos, the new Eternal Prime, resurrects Druig (after having killed him) with the aim of using him as an advisor. Druig does not remember what happened before his death, as his brain is rebooted. Thanos tries to use the machine to heal the body of him who has a terminal illness, but the only one who knows how to do that is Phastos, so Thanos goes to Lemuria.

In Lemuria, Thena discovers that her partner Talau has a disease that is part of the transformation into monsters and is apparently activated by Kro, causing tension between the Eternals and the Deviants.

This chapter increases the tension between Eternal and Deviants, while Thanos tries to heal himself.

ART

Esad Ribic is simply mind-blowing, with such a distinctive and unique personal stamp.

Summary

Thanos seeks to heal, but for that he must convince Phastos to help him.

Sersi, Kingo y Thena están en Lemuria, hogar de los Deviants para trata  de conseguir la manera de revertir la muerte de humanos con cada resurrección de un Eternal, Kro los recibe pero desea establecer sus condiciones de convivencia primero.

Por otro lado Zuras va a activar el Uni-Mind para realizar una elecciones donde los Eternals lo eligieron como Eternal Prime luego de su resurrección, esta elección será aprovechada por Druig y Thanos.

Este cómic cierra con varios giros impactantes que cambian las reglas del juego para los Eternals.

Sersi, Kingo and Thena are in Lemuria, home of the Deviants to try to find a way to reverse the death of humans with each resurrection of an Eternal, Kro receives them but wants to establish their conditions of coexistence first.

On the other hand, Zuras is going to activate the Uni-Mind to make an election where the Eternals chose him as Eternal Prime after his resurrection, this election will be used by Druig and Thanos for their agenda.

This comic closes with several shocking twists that change the game for the Eternals.

Ahora que se revela la verdad de su existencia, Ajak y Makkari deben recoger los pedazos y tratar de encontrar un camino a seguir ... sin importar cuán aterrador sea, o cómo sus elecciones impactarán irrevocablemente al resto de los Eternos. Además: ¿Cómo figuran los Vengadores del 1.000.000 a. C.?

TRAMA

La historia se centra en el personaje de Ajak, que se acerca a la versión que va a interpretar Salma Hayek en la venidera adaptación fílmica de Marvel Studios y se aleja de la versión de Kirby.

Ajak es la sacerdotiza de la ciudad de Celestia, una de las 6 ciudades de los Eternals en la  Tierra diseñada para albergar a un Celestial. Ella sufre una crisis de fe porque se siente abandonada por sus dioses. A esto se suma de Makkari se comunicó con un celestial y esta planteando nuevas leyes religiosas.

En su afán de entender lo que sucede Ajak analiza todas sus interacciones con los Avengers quienes ahora tienen en su poder el cuerpo de un Celestial en el Avengers Mountain, sin embargo ella descubre que esto es parte del plan de los Celestials.

ARTE

Está lleno de texturas y se siente muy orgánico, llenos de asombrosos detalles que brindan esa sensación del paso del tiempo.

What does it come from?

THERE IS NO GOD FOR THE ETERNALS!

Now that the truth of their existence is revealed, Ajak and Makkari must pick up the pieces and try to find a road forward... no matter how terrifying it will be, or how their choices will irrevocably shock the rest of the Eternals? Also: How do the Avengers of 1,000,000 BCE figure into it?

PLOT

The story focuses on the character of Ajak, who approaches the version that Salma Hayek will play in the upcoming film adaptation of Marvel Studios and moves away from the version of Kirby.

Ajak is the priestess of the city of Celestia, one of the 6 cities of the Eternals on Earth designed to house a Celestial. She suffers a crisis of faith because she feels abandoned by her gods. In addition to this, Makkari communicated with a celestial and is proposing new religious laws.

In her eagerness to understand what is happening, Ajak analyzes all her interactions with the Avengers who now have the body of a Celestial in Avengers Mountain, however she discovers that this is part of the Celestials' plan.

ART

It is full of textures and feels very organic, full of amazing details that give that feeling of the passage of time.
