NEW MARVEL RIVALS: KING IN BLACK COMIC ANNOUNCED AT SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON

MARVEL RIVALS INFINITY COMIC continues with a KING IN BLACK story arc tied to the game’s latest season, followed by a print edition in October that includes a redeem code for an in-game spray! 

 

New York, NY— July 25, 2025 — The next story arc in MARVEL RIVALS INFINITY COMIC was revealed earlier today at the Marvel Rivals: Hero Creations from Concept to Showcase Panel at San Diego Comic-Con! Written by Paul Allors and drawn by Nico Leon, the Marvel Unlimited series will reflect the hit game’s current season that takes inspiration from 2020’s King in Black event. Going live on July 31, the saga will run in MARVEL RIVALS INFINITY COMIC #13-18 and, like previous arcs, will be presented in print this October in MARVEL RIVALS: KING IN BLACK. Current Marvel Unlimited subscribers and new members who sign up by August 7 can receive a redeem code to unlock an exclusive in-game spray featuring Blade. KLYNTAR KILLS!

Written by Elsa Sjunneson and drawn by Alti Firmansyah, the special will begin with AVENGERS ACADEMY: MARVEL’S VOICES INFINITY COMIC #51, available now, and continue in next Wednesday’s AVENGERS ACADEMY: MARVEL’S VOICES INFINITY COMIC #52, only on Marvel Unlimited!

 

On a trip to NYC, Rogue allies with local teens in their stand against Roxxon's latest scheme. But Roxxon's plans are more sinister than they know, and more heroes join the fray including Daredevil, Hawkeye, and Silhouette as they work together to put a stop to Roxxon’s evil aims!
