CHRIS CLAREMONT REGRESA CON UNA HISTORIA TOTALMENTE NUEVA PRINCIPADA A NIGHTCRAWLER, MYSTIQUE Y MÁS

And this February, Chris Claremont, the writer behind the franchise’s most influential works, will make his mark on the series in X-MEN LEGENDS #12. His long-awaited debut on the title will see the writer step back into his unparalleled run on UNCANNY X-MEN in a story set before the start of another one of his iconic works, EXCALIBUR. Teaming up with popular X-Men artist Scot Eaton , the groundbreaking writer will pen an all-new tale centered around the legendary characters he created and defined including Nightcrawler, Kitty Pryde, Mystique, and Destiny!

 

In the aftermath of “Fall of the Mutants,” the X-Men are dead. Or so the world believes. And Mystique seeks revenge on Forge for his role in the loss of Rogue. In order to stop her partner from making a grave mistake, Destiny will have to recruit Nightcrawler and Shadowcat who, injured as they are, must dig deep to find new strength and do what is right as the last X-Men standing!

TRAMA

Plot

Desde House of X y Powers of X de 2019, el escritor Jonathan Hickman y una gran cantidad de creadores increíbles han revolucionado la franquicia X-Men. Ahora comienza REIGN OF X, el último capítulo de la gran visión de Hickman para los mutantes, y el aclamado escritor Si Spurrier trae a los fanáticos una nueva serie innovadora: WAY OF X. “Probablemente debería decir una mentira por el bien de un discurso de ascensor ordenado y decir que Way of X es una historia sobre la creación de una nueva religión mutante. Pero no lo es, no realmente. Ahí es donde empieza, seguro. Nightcrawler se da cuenta de que algo anda mal con los corazones y las mentes de los mutantes y se propone arreglarlo. “I should probably just tell a lie for the sake of a neat elevator pitch and say that Way of X is a story about the creation of a new mutant religion. But it’s not - not really. That’s kinda where it starts, for sure. Nightcrawler realises something’s wrong with the hearts and minds of mutantkind and sets out to fix it. But as he quickly discovers, this isn’t a job for priests and prayers … The question is, what do they have to become in order to fight it? Preachers? Cops? Executioners? Or something entirely new?

 

“Way of X is a smart, psychedelic tale about faith, science, culture, love and law. And Bamfing. Bamfing just for the joy of it.”

 

Joining Spurrier to bring these unique mysteries to life will be rising star artist Bob Quinn (Captain America).

En esta nueva serie continúa con el regreso "Nightcrawler", el querido mutante de pensamiento espiritual y con poderes de teletransportación, luego de haber fallecido hace unos años en el evento "Mesiah Complex" y rescatado por Wolverine y Storm en el cómic "Amazing X-men".
