Red Sonja es creada por Robert E. Howard de su universo de guerreros, ella proviene de Hyrkania.

Red Sonja regresa con un nuevo equipo creativo, Mark Russel (Lone Ranger) y Bob Q (Lone Ranger), sin embargo continúa con la historia donde se convierte en Reina de Hyrkania y está en guerra contra  Dragan.

¿De qué viene?

En Red Sonja #7 , Red Sonja y sus tropas siguen huyendo de Dragan y quemando todo a su paso, incluso tierras de Hyrkania, de manera que Dragan le cuesta avanzar ya que no tiene como alimentar a sus caballos y soldados.

La mano derecha de Dragan, Fohgor se rebanó las fosas nasales para ir con Red Sonja y aparentar que Dragan le cortó la nariz. Es una suerte de Caballo de Troya.

Red Sonja necesita ayuda y se dirige con Lord Oak, ya que Dragan se encuentra en el camino de conquistar Hyrkania y el reino del Bosque será su próxima parada, así que le ofrece una alianza.

Esta entrega está llena de traiciones y magnificas secuencias de pelea y mutilación por parte de Red Sonja.

Este equipo creativo de Russel y Bob Q nos trae una de las mejores entregas de este nuevo volumen, con mucha acción e intriga.
