REVIEW IN ENGLISH:
Elvira, the late night host of horror films in the 1980s and 1990s incarnated Cassandra Peterson, returns with her adventures in a comic book format. Elvira is a voluptuous and funny woman who loves the horror genre and the gothic look, her film Elvira Mistress of the Dark of the year 1988 is of cult movie. Its main characteristic it's her acute sense of humor / self-conscious and that frequently breaks the fourth wall. This comic highlight all these qualities.
Where does it come from?
Since this issue begins a new arc, called Vroom Vroom Witches, therefore it is the perfect starting point for new readers. Even though the writer David Avallone managed to get Elvira to make a fun recap of the first 8 numbers (story arc Elvira's Inferno) on page 6 and breaking the fourth wall of course.
What's going on?
While Elvira films a horror film with Dracula (the sequel to a prequel to a reboot), three mysterious characters are seen in the distance stalking her on orders of a ... magic broom!
Her stay in hell made her body absrob some of the energy from Lucifer (read Elvira's Inferno story or read the funny summary made with disgust by Elvira on page 6), so they are looking for it, to absorb that power.
This story has again bright references to pop culture, as well as frequent breakin the fourth wall dialogues, Avallone and Acosta will hook you again with this new story.
