Red Sonja es creada por Robert E. Howard de su universo de guerreros, ella proviene de Hyrkania.
Red Sonja regresa con un nuevo equipo creativo, Mark Russel (Lone Ranger) y Bob Q (Lone Ranger), sin embargo continúa con la historia donde se convierte en Reina de Hyrkania y está en guerra contra Dragan.

¿Qué sucede?
Red Sonja recupera el cuerpo de su primo Kryon y le da un funeral digno, ahora está más enfocada que nunca en ganar esta guerra.
Dragan está asesinando y torturando a los Hyrkanianos que tiene como rehenes de una manera grotesca, sin embargo está subestimando la astucia de Red Sonja. Con una estrategia de distracción, Red Sonja logra llegar a escasos metros de Dragan, sin duda ella sabe lo que hace.
Este cómic posee amplias y violentas secuencias de acción, bien explicadas y llenas de sangre, varias cargadas de suspenso.
El cierre de esta entrega presenta el descabellado plan de Foghor, el nuevo consejero de Dragan, quien se va a infiltrar en las líneas enemigas.
Arte y Trama
Russel y Bob Q vienen de trabajar juntos en el Llanero Solitario, demostrando que son un equipo creativo muy sólido. Esta historia es bien concisa con un arte totalmente explícito y visualmente atractivo.
Resumen
Red Sonja se dispone a usar todos sus conocimientos para acabar con la terrible expansión del imperio de Dragan.

Red Sonja returns with a new creative team, Mark Russel (Lone Ranger) and Bob Q (Lone Ranger), this comic continues with the story where he becomes Queen of Hyrkania and her war against Dragan.
Where it comes from?
In Red Sonja # 6 The people of Hyrkania are cornered while Dragan chases after them with elephants and many weapons, Dragan assassinates Kryon the cousin and last relative of Red Sonja apart from offering her a marriage, something Sonja refuses. The battle continues.
