Berserker eran guerreros Vikingos que se lanzaban a la batalla semidesnudos o con algunas pieles de animales, saqueaban y mataban indiscriminadamente, ciegos de furia e un ataque de psicosis. Eran insensibles al dolor y capaces de hacer cosas sobrehumanas como morder sus escudos de madera y arrancarle pedazos.

Esta primera entrega muestra a través de secuencias de acción épicas cuan eficiente y poderoso es este guerrero, al que le despojan su propósito de vida. Es claro que Mongrel King forma parte de un terrible y cruel plan maestro del que se desconoce su mente maestra.

Seguramente este cómic está generando ataques de envidia y frustración en casi todos (o todos) los dibujantes de la industria del cómic actual.

Berserker Unbound is the new comic by Mike Deodato Jr. and Jeff Lemire! A warrior travels centuries in the future to our time, a series that mixes action, magic and drama. This is Deodato's first comic after retiring from Marvel Comics after 24 years of career.
Where does it come from?
In this comic begins a new story that goes back centuries to the past, where a warrior called Mongrel King is called the Berserker, the most dangerous warrior of his time.
Berserker is a adjective thar=t Viking warriors had, who threw themselves into the battle half-naked or with some animal skins, looted and killed indiscriminately, blind with fury and with an attack of psychosis. They were insensitive to pain and capable of doing superhuman things like biting their wooden shields and tearing them apart.
What happens?
This comic tells us the story of this invincible warrior who lived proud of all his battles from which he left unbeaten, however he suffers a tragedy that makes him doubt his own fame and power, receives a hard blow of humility that leaves him vulnerable.
This first issue shows through epic action sequences how efficient and powerful this warrior is, who is deprived of his life purpose. It is clear that Mongrel King is part of a terrible and cruel master plan of which his master mind is unknown.
