Ash es un personaje importante en la cultura pop, por ser el protagonista de la trilogía de The Evil Dead, películas de terror descabellado y comedia de bajo presupuesto (B movies) del director Sam Raimi. Este anti héroe fue interpretado por Bruce Campbell.
La fama de Ash es porque en la película se corta la mano derecha porque estaba poseído por un demonio y se embutió una moto-sierra y la usó como arma.
¿De qué viene?
En DOAD #3 El Ash-Team (Ash, Ashley, Esqueleto, Versión Pequeña, Sierra Eléctrica y el perro Dash) se enfrentan a un Faraón en el antiguo Egipto y sus súbditos, cuando de repente uno de sus eruditos se transforma en un Deadites, una especie de demonio monstruo enviado por el Necromicon para detenerlos.
¿Qué sucede?
Ash y Ashley se separan de Esqueleto, MiniAsh y Dash cerca de un castillo al cual deben entrar para destruir el Necromicon.
En este lugar se reencuentran todos y empiezan a ser seducidos o atormentados por visiones de este poder maligno del Necromicon que desea separarlos de para acabar con todas las versiones de Ash.
Este es el penúltimo cómic de esta serie y cierra con una inesperada traición.
Resumen
El Ash-Team están atrapados, no tienen salida más que enfrentarse al poder del Necromicon, pero su lealtad se verá quebrantada.

Ash's fame is because in the film his right hand is cut off because he was possessed by a demon and he stuffed a chainsaw and used it as a weapon
What does it come from?
In DOAD # 3 The Ash-Team (Ash, Ashley, Skeleton, Small Version, Electric Saw and Dash the dog) face a Pharaoh in ancient Egypt and his subjects, when suddenly one of their scholars transforms into a Deadites, a kind of monster demon sent by the Necromicon to stop them.
What's going on?
Ash and Ashley part ways with Skeleton, MiniAsh, and Dash near a castle they must enter to destroy the Necromicon.
In this place they all meet again and begin to be seduced or tormented by visions of this evil power of the Necromicon that wishes to separate them from to end all versions of Ash.
This is the penultimate comic in this series and it closes with an unexpected betrayal.
Summary
The Ash-Team are trapped, they have no way out but to face the power of the Necromicon, but their loyalty will be broken.
