Red Sonja es creada por Robert E. Howard de su universo de guerreros, ella proviene de Hyrkania, la llaman Sonja la roja no solo por su cabellera escarlata, es por toda la sangre que ha derramado su espada.
¿De qué viene?
En RedSonja #17 Sonja conquista las montañas de Vendhya con un ejército de niños, lo logra con mucha estrategia y con casi muy pocas bajas, sin embargo se quedan sin suministros, por lo que deben estar atentos a un contraataque.
Red Sonja debe cumplir con su cargo como Master of War de Khitai y seguir las órdenes del rey Ja'Khan para así salvar a Hyrkania de la hambruna.
Red Sonja encuentra a un aliado a Zo'ran y empiezan a tener una apasionada relación romántica.
El rey Ja'Khan está aburrido en su palacio y se entera que Red Sonja tomó el fuerte de Vendhya y se dirige para disfrutar de su conquista, está ebrio de poder, es déspota con todos, hasta con su consejero Tortoise, quien lo crío y protegió desde niño.
Sonja y Zo'ran se llevan a los guerreros más adultos y experimentados a acabar con el contraataque del ejército de Vendhya, dejan a los niños en el fuerte para que no mueran en la batalla. Sonja y Zo'ran logran con total éxito su misión.
Ja'Khan llega al fuerte y se molesta por la decisión de Sonja y decide que él va a atacar al ejército de Vendhya con su soldados niños, logra ganar pero masacran a todos...Sonja no lo perdona.
Este cómic posee un giro importante, no se van a esperar lo que va a pasar
Mark Russel y Bob Q es un magnífico equipo creativo, esta entrega habla sobre el ego, la responsabilidad y la diáspora, una de las mejores entregas a la fecha.
Resumen
Red Sonja no tiene tiempo de saborear su victoria cuando los caprichos bélicos de Ja'Khan amargan todo.

Red Sonja is created by Robert E. Howard from her universe of warriors, she comes from Hyrkania, they call her Red Sonja not only for her hair, it is for all the blood that her sword has shed.
What does it come from?
In RedSonja # 17 Sonja conquers the Vendhya mountains with an army of children, she achieves it with a lot of strategy and with almost very few casualties, however they run out of supplies, so they must be alert to a counterattack.
Red Sonja must fulfill her position as Master of War of Khitai and follow the orders of King Ja'Khan in order to save Hyrkania from famine.
Red Sonja finds an ally to Zo'ran and they begin to have a passionate romantic relationship.
What's going on?
King Ja'Khan is bored in his palace and he learns that Red Sonja took the Vendhya fort and is going to enjoy his conquest, he is drunk with power, he is a despot with everyone, even his advisor Tortoise, who raised him and protected since childhood.
Sonja and Zo'ran lead the older and more experienced warriors to end the Vendhya army's counterattack, leaving the children in the fort so that they do not die in battle. Sonja and Zo'ran successfully accomplish their mission.
Ja'Khan arrives at the fort and is upset by Sonja's decision and decides that he is going to attack the Vendhya army with their child soldiers, he manages to win but they massacre everyone ... Sonja does not forgive him.
This comic has an important twist, you will not expect what is going to happen
Mark Russel and Bob Q are a great creative team, this installment talks about ego, responsibility and the diaspora, one of the best issues to date.
Summary
Red Sonja doesn't have time to savor his victory when Ja'Khan's warlike quirks embitter everything.
