Mattel, Inc. y Dark Horse Comics anunciaron su alianza para lanzamiento de la serie de cuatro cómics “Masters of the Universe: Revelation”. Con cuatro cómics que se lanzarán a partir de julio de 2021 que servirá como una precuela de la próxima serie animada "Masters of the Universe: Revelation" de Netflix y Mattel Televisiónque se estrenará el 23 de julio. Esta es la precuela oficial del cómic del próximo programa de televisión de Netflix escrito por los productores ejecutivos Kevin Smith y Rob David y el escritor de episodios Tim Sheridan y con arte de Mindy Lee (Crimson Lotus).
Después de un feroz ataque de Orlax contra su padre, el Rey Randor, He-Man descubre que la criatura está vinculada al origen de la espada del poder. Para salvar a Randor y poner fin al caos, He-Man se embarca en un viaje épico que lo enfrenta a sus viejos enemigos Skeletor y Evil-Lyn, y ve a Teela tomar las riendas de un poderoso legado.

TRAMA
Narra la historia de Evil Lyn, quien la empieza a recordar gracias a su conexión con el Orlax, cosa que hace a espaldas de Skeletor.
Revelan que ella era una niña de la calle que fue entrenada por la hechicera Magestra, que poco a poco le enseña el poder de la orbe.
Skeletor la rescata con un portal y la recluta como su aliada, porque quiere saber más del poder de la magia y superar la tecnología de su jefe Hordak.

Mientras tanto Skeletor intenta conectarse con el Orlax (que es una conexión falsa creada por Evil Lyn)He-man y Teela llegan para detenerlo

This is the official comic book prequel to the upcoming Netflix television show written by Executive Producers Kevin Smith and Rob David and episode writer Tim Sheridan and featuring art by Mindy Lee (Crimson Lotus).
Following a vicious Orlax attack on his father King Randor, He-Man learns the creature is linked to the origin of the sword of power. To save Randor and put an end to the chaos, He-Man embarks on an epic journey that pits him against his longtime foes Skeletor and Evil-Lyn, and sees Teela take the reins of a powerful legacy.

PLOT
It tells the story of Evil Lyn, who begins to remember her thanks to her connection with the Orlax, which she does behind Skeletor's back.
They reveal that she was a street girl who was trained by the sorceress Magestra, who little by little teaches her the power of the orb.
Skeletor rescues her with a portal and recruits her as her ally, because he wants to know more about the power of magic and overcome her boss Hordak's technology.
Lyn kills her mentor to gain the power of the orb.
Meanwhile Skeletor tries to connect with the Orlax (which is a fake connection created by Evil Lyn) He-man and Teela arrive to stop him
