RESEÑA EN ESPAÑOL/INGLÉS DE "COUNT CROWLEY AMATEUR MIDNIGHT MONSTER HUNTER #2 DE 4" CON SPOILERS

 

¿De qué viene?

"La única forma de curar a un hombre lobo es matar a un hombre lobo". Eso dice el mentor cazador de monstruos de Jerri Bartman. Pero hay un problema. . . el hombre lobo en cuestión no solo es miembro del grupo Alcoholicos Anonimos de Jerri, es un tipo bastante decente. Sin embargo, su volátil exnovia no es tan amigable. Cuando aparece el ex, salen las garras y los colmillos..

TRAMA 

Jerri se enfrenta a Crystal la novia Lobo de Steven, Jerri la atrapa y le corta la lengua, la única manera de matar a un hombre lobo. Esta pelea es intensa y destruye una cocina por completo.

Rich llama a Jerri porque sabe que la antigua orden de vampiros van a buscar unos manuscritos prohibidos que guarda en su casa, Jerri se encuentra con Hubert Shagad, el líder vampiro...pero nada ocurre...pero ya se vieron las caras. El gato que sigue a Jerri resulta ser muy sabio.

Excelente segunda entrega de las aventuras de Jerri como cazadora de monstruos, con algo menos de comedia pero mucho terror, donde Jerri está aprendiendo del ensayo y error, esto es sin suda MIDNIGHT MONSTER HUNTER YEAR ONE.

ARTE

Mantiene ese tono vintage que parece influenciado por Will Eisner, sin duda ofrece un tono nostálgico y fresco, cada pagina es una maravilla.

Resumen

Jerri está aprendiendo su nuevo oficio de cazadora de la manera más dura.

Excelente segunda entrega de una serie original, adictiva y emocionante

What does it come from?

"The only way to cure a werewolf is to kill a werewolf." So says Jerri Bartmans monster-hunting mentor. But there's a problem . . . the werewolf in question is not only a member of Jerri's AA group, he's a pretty decent guy. His volatile ex-girlfriend isn't as friendly, though. When the ex shows up, the claws and the fangs come out.

PLOT

Jerri confronts Steven's Wolf girlfriend Crystal, Jerri catches her and cuts out her tongue, the only way to kill a werewolf. This fight is intense and destroys a kitchen completely.

Rich calls Jerri because she knows that the ancient order of vampires are going to look for some forbidden manuscripts that she keeps in his old house, Jerri meets Hubert Shagad, the vampire leader... but nothing happens... for now. The cat that follows Jerri turns out to be very wise.

Excellent second installment of Jerri's adventures as a monster hunter, with a little less comedy but a lot of terror, where Jerri is learning from trial and error, this is definitely MIDNIGHT MONSTER HUNTER YEAR ONE.

ART

It maintains that vintage tone that seems influenced by Will Eisner, without a doubt it offers a nostalgic and fresh tone, each page is wonderful.

Jerri is learning her new job as a hunter the hard way.

Excellent second installment of an original, addictive and exciting series
