Ghost Machine Productions lanza GEIGER en un nuevo volumen, del escritor Geoff Johns, el artista Gary Frank y el colorista Brad Anderson. Esta serie de comics tendrá frecuencia mensual y forma parte de la primera ola de cómics de Ghost Machine Productions. La serie sigue las aventuras de Tariq Geiger, el misterioso Hombre Resplandeciente presentado por primera vez en la exitosa serie GEIGER Vol 1 de Johns y Frank, que se lanzó en 2021 y fue publicada por Image Comics. GEIGER también se está desarrollando para televisión en Paramount TV con Justin Simien como director.
¿De qué viene?
¡LA SAGA DE LOS UNNAMED CONTINÚA! Tariq Geiger, su lobo de dos cabezas Barney y su sorprendente nuevo compañero comienzan su búsqueda a lo largo de los caminos radiactivos de los antiguos Estados Unidos para encontrar una cura para la condición de energía nuclear del Hombre Resplandeciente. Pero para obtener la información que necesitan, el equipo de Geiger primero debe ayudar a un sheriff local a atrapar y matar a un asaltante enmascarado que está saqueando la ciudad. Pero lo que Geiger finalmente descubre le produce escalofríos hasta los huesos verdes y brillantes. Y el Electricista no se queda atrás…
Trama
Geiger y Nate el Ex Nuclear Knight siguen la pista de una persona que como él se curó de la misma condición radiactiva de Tariq Geiger. Llegan a un poblado donde el alcalde hace u n trato, les da el nombre de esta persona que se cura de la radiactividad si Geiger atrapa al ladrón Masked Raider.
Geiger parece tener un problema con el control de su radiactividad. Los diálogos entre Nate y Geiger son hilarantes, Nate no para de hablar y decir tonterías y vivencias sin que nadie le pida contarlas y Geiger sólo quiere silencio.
Tariq y Nate dan con el paradero de Masked Raider y se llevan una sorpresa.
Tariq es perseguido por el gobierno, está cada vez más cerca de atraparlo.
Geiger sigue cocinando una mezcla de elementos de Spaguetti Western y futuro distópico con cazarecompensas. Las secuencias de acción son fantásticas, un deleite visual y narrativo.
Arte
Gary Frank y Brad Anderson logran el balance perfecto de un arte sumamente detallado y orgánico con colores claros que no esconden nada. Es hipnotizante cada panel de cada página.
La rotulación de Rob Leigh es una explosion de adrenalina onomatopéyica.

What does it come from?
THE UNNAMED SAGA CONTINUES! Tariq Geiger, his two-headed wolf Barney, and their surprising newfound companion begin their quest along the radioactive roads of the former United States to find a cure for the Glowing Man’s nuclear-powered condition. But in order to obtain the information they need, Geiger’s crew must first help a local sheriff catch and kill a masked raider that's pillaging the town. But what Geiger ultimately discovers chills him to his glowing green bones. And the ElecTrician isn’t far behind…
Plot
Geiger and Nate the Former Nuclear Knight follow the trail of a person who, like him, was cured of the same radioactive condition as Tariq Geiger.
They arrive at a town where the mayor makes a deal, he gives them the name of this person who will be cured of radioactivity if Geiger catches the Masked Raider thief.
Geiger seems to have a problem with controlling the radioactivity of him.
The dialogues between Nate and Geiger are hilarious, Nate won't stop talking and saying stupid things and experiences without anyone asking him to tell them and Geiger just wants silence.
Tariq and Nate find the whereabouts of Masked Raider and get a surprise. Tariq is pursued by the government, he is getting closer and closer to catching him. Geiger continues cooking a mix of elements of Spaghetti Western and dystopian future with bounty hunters.
The action sequences are fantastic, a visual and narrative delight.
Art
Gary Frank and Brad Anderson achieve the perfect balance of highly detailed and organic art with light colors that hide nothing. Every panel on every page is mesmerizing.
Rob Leigh's lettering is an explosion of onomatopoeic adrenaline.
Summary
Geiger and Nate get closer to finding the mysterious person who was cured of radioactivity, but not before doing a good deed.
