Dark Horse le da la bienvenida a Lance Kreiter nuevamente al equipo, quien asume el rol de Director Senior de Licencias. Kreiter regresa a Dark Horse después de haber ocupado previamente el título de Director de Licencias Globales desde diciembre de 1999 hasta enero de 2010, y luego fungir como Vicepresidente de Licencias y Merchandising en BOOM! Studios, Inc. desde febrero de 2010 hasta junio de 2024. Con más de 25 años de experiencia en el campo de las licencias y el merchandising, Lance encaja perfectamente en este puesto y el equipo de Dark Horse está encantado de trabajar con él una vez más.

Lance asistió a la escuela secundaria Tillamook, seguida de la Universidad Estatal de Portland. Durante su estancia en la universidad, Lance terminó una Licenciatura en Artes con especialización en Historia y Geografía.

He observado su ascenso desde lejos durante más de una década y me siento muy honrado de haber aterrizado de regreso donde todo comenzó para mí, pero en lo que espero sea un papel más impactante y moderno, me encantaría agradecer a Mike Richardson y al equipo. Dark Horse Veteran Returns to Licensing Department

MILWAUKIE, Ore., (July 5, 2024)— Dark Horse welcomes Lance Kreiter back to the team as he takes on the role of Senior Director of Licensing. Kreiter returns to Dark Horse after previously holding the title of Director of Global Licensing from December 1999 to January 2010, then serving as Vice President of Licensing & Merchandising at BOOM! Studios, Inc. from February 2010 through June 2024. With over 25 years of experience in the licensing and merchandising field, Lance is an excellent fit for this role, and the Dark Horse team is thrilled to work with him once again. “We are excited to welcome back Lance Kreiter to the Dark Horse family,” said Mike Richardson, Dark Horse President and Founder. “As we expand our endeavors with both new and longstanding licensed properties, it is essential that we retain strong, experienced talent in all facets of our team. We are so pleased that Lance has chosen to bring his skills and understanding of the comics industry back to Dark Horse.” Lance boasts many hobbies outside of his experience in the publishing industry, including enjoying life as a drummer, father, husband, and avid pop-culture devotee. Lance attended Tillamook High School, followed by Portland State University. During their time at the university, Lance finished a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History and Geography. "I think it was Charles Dickens who said, ‘Never say never?’ All kidding aside, I learned so much during my early years at Dark Horse,” said Kreiter. “I do have to admit though that Dark Horse was always top of mind, personally and professionally. Not only because I always felt that I still had family here, but also in the impact the company has had and continues to have on the industry as a whole. This seismic influence can never be underestimated or under appreciated. I have watched their ascension from afar for over a decade and feel very honored to have landed back where it all began for me, but in what I hope will be a more impactful and modern role. I’d love to thank Mike Richardson and the entire Dark Horse team for agreeing to let me back in the building (truly...you are the best, Mike) and also give a huge thank you to Tim Wiesch for believing that I have what it takes to not only do great things in tandem with DHC, but also to have what I believe will be a hell of a great time in doing so."
