¿De qué viene?
Los enemigos de Frank Castle quieren hacerte creer que finalmente ha perdido su humanidad, y quizá así sea. Nadie le dirá lo contrario. Bueno, excepto Everett K. Ross... ¿pero qué tiene que ver Punisher con el mundo venidero?
Trama
Esto ocurre cinco años antes de los eventos de WORLD TO COME.
Everett K. Ross se logra infiltrar en la organización de Molerro y con la ayuda de la agente Maria del gobierno Mexicano, logran llevarse a Punisher y le quitan el efecto de la droga Zombie.
Frank reacciona y empieza a recordar todos los crímenes que realizó tan horribles que se dispara a la cabeza, pero se salva y ahora recuperado está listo para vengarse de aquellos que lo obligaron a ser el monstruoso llamado EL ZOMBIE.
Esta entrega baja un poco el ritmo de acción para establecer las bases narrativas de lo que viene a continuación.
Arte
Es crudo, lleno de detalles, texturas y una rudeza en los trazos que hace de las secuencias vertiginosas e impactantes. Es una obra maestra en cada una de los panesa de cada página

Where does it come from?
WORLD OF PUNISHMENT! Frank Castle's enemies would like you to believe he's finally lost his humanity - and maybe he has. No one's going to tell him otherwise. Well, except for Everett K. Ross…but what does the Punisher have to do with the world to come?
Plot
This takes place five years before the events of WORLD TO COME.
Everett K. Ross manages to infiltrate Molerro's organization and, with the help of Mexican government agent Maria, they capture Punisher and remove the effects of the Zombie drug.
Frank reacts and begins to remember all the horrific crimes he committed. He shoots himself in the head, but survives and, now recovered, is ready to take revenge on those who forced him to become the monstrous being known as EL ZOMBIE.
This installment slows the pace of the action to establish the narrative groundwork for what's to come.
Art
It's raw, full of detail, textures, and a roughness in the lines that makes the sequences dizzying and impactful. It's a masterpiece on every page.
Summary
Everett K. Ross frees Frank from being the Zombie, so the Punisher prepares for total revenge.
