¿De qué viene?
¡La exitosa saga épica de ciencia ficción se adentra en el corazón de Éxodus! Atrapados en la guarida del monstruoso Arácnido, Rook, Dire Wolf y Matterhorn se enfrentan a miles de voraces arañas mutantes, y el tiempo se agota. Si los guardianes fallan, el destino de Éxodo podría quedar sellado en una telaraña. Además, ¿quién es Stag... y por qué quiere matar al padre de Dire Wolf?

Rook, Dire Wolf y Matterhorn intentan detener a Stag el Guardian de los Venados, quien quiere decapitar a Bloodhound, ya que este asesinó a su esposa, todo esto ocurre dentro del World Engine que Rook quiere arreglar pero solo con la ayuda de Bloodhound, si logra que vuelva su cordura.
Pero ninguno de los tres logran vencer o al menos golpear a Stag, pero de repente llega una avalancha de arañas que los atrapa a todos y les hace tener alucinaciones de su pasado vividas y dolorosas.
Rook reacciona y ve al Guardián de la Arañas, su traje es de gran tamaño con extremidades de robot. Rook intenta convencerlo de que le ayude a arreglar el World Engine, pero lo que se descubre es que la persona dentro del traje está siendo controlada por las arañas, quienes son las responsables de dañar el World Engine y quieren acabar con todos los humanos invasores. Este es el segundo ejemplo donde los Guardianes terminan siendo controlados por el animal que ellos pensaban controlar.
La trama sigue mostrando cada vez más de este futuro post apocalíptico que se repite en nuevos horizontes, mezclando el género de ciencia ficción con el de los monstruos. Es uno de los mejores cómics del momento.
Arte
Jason Fabok ofrece su arte tan detallado donde todo tiene lógica, recreando mundos nuevos con tecnología futurista y haciéndolo creíble, cada página hipnotiza y da escalofríos, juega con las escalas de todo este mundo con una visión cinematográfica. Logra ilustrar unas páginas splash alucinantes e hipnotizantes, que apoyadas por los colores perfectamente adecuados de Brad Anderson.

What does it come from?
The hit sci-fi epic plunges deeper into the heart of Exodus! Trapped in the lair of the monstrous Arachnid, Rook, Dire Wolf, and Matterhorn face thousands of ravenous mutated spiders—and time is running out. If the wardens fail, the fate of Exodus itself may be sealed in the web. Plus, who is Stag…and why does he want Dire Wolf’s father dead?
Plot
Rook, Dire Wolf, and Matterhorn try to stop Stag, the the Deer Warden, who wants to behead Bloodhound because Bloodhound murdered his wife. All of this takes place inside the World Engine, which Rook wants to repair, but only with Bloodhound's help, if he can restore his sanity.
However, none of the three manage to defeat or even land a blow on Stag. Suddenly, an avalanche of spiders arrives, trapping them all and causing them to hallucinate painful memories of their past.
Rook comes to his senses and sees the the Spider Warden. His suit is enormous, with robotic limbs. Rook tries to convince him to help repair the World Engine, but it's revealed that the person inside the suit is being controlled by the spiders, who are responsible for damaging the World Engine and want to eliminate all the invading humans. This is the second instance where the Guardians end up being controlled by the very animal they thought they were controlling.
The plot continues to reveal more and more of this post-apocalyptic future that repeats itself in new settings, blending the science fiction and monster genres. It's one of the best comics of the moment.
Art
Jason Fabok delivers his incredibly detailed art, where everything makes sense, recreating new worlds with futuristic technology and making it believable. Each page is mesmerizing and chilling, playing with the scale of this entire world with a cinematic vision. He manages to illustrate stunning and mesmerizing splash pages, supported by Brad Anderson's perfectly chosen colors.
Summary
Rook, Dire Wolf, Matterhorn, Bloodhound, and Stag face the one responsible for this entire environmental catastrophe: the Spider Warden.
