¿De Qué viene?

Rusia, 1989. Cuatro niños en la ciudad de Vorónezh presencian el descenso de un OVNI rojo con forma de huevo mientras juegan al fútbol. Un grupo de seres aparentemente extraterrestres desembarca y se convierte en uno de los fenómenos inexplicables más extraños jamás relatados.

Los cocreadores de "Algo está matando a los niños", "La bonita casa en el lago", "El departamento de la verdad" y "Poderes", éxitos de ventas del New York Times y ganadores del Premio Eisner, dan continuidad a su aclamada obra en "El libro azul" con un nuevo volumen de relatos "reales" que capturan el extraño mundo de los encuentros extraterrestres, esta vez centrados en las inquietantes historias extraterrestres de Rusia y China.

Trama y Arte

Este cómic incluye dos historias, la primera en la principal y la segunda es una historia corta de una sola entrega llamada True Weird, donde narran rumores y teorías conspirativas gubernamentales que encubren supuestos eventos sobrenaturales:

RED BOOK escrito por JAMES TYNION IV con arte de MICHAEL AVON OEMING y rotulado por Tom Napolitano: Narra los diferentes avistamientos de OVNIS en Rusia entre 1980 a 1990, donde queda la duda si ocurrieron en realidad o era parte de la campaña de desinformación de la cortina de hierro Soviética o la misma censura tan radical que callaba cualquier voz disidente. 

La mayoría de estos documentos fueron traducidos por la C.I.A y por eso es difícil saber su veracidad.

El impactante caso de Voronezh es uno de los más documentados que hasta formó parte de la cultura pop de la época.

Plot and Art

This comic includes two stories: the first is the main story and the second is a single-issue short story called True Weird, which chronicles government rumors and conspiracy theories that cover up supposed supernatural events:

RED BOOK written by JAMES TYNION IV with art by MICHAEL AVON OEMING and lettered by Tom Napolitano: this story recounts various UFO sightings in Russia between 1980 and 1990. It raises questions about whether these sightings actually occurred or were part of a disinformation campaign orchestrated by the Soviet Iron Curtain, or even the radical censorship that silenced any dissenting voice.

Most of these documents were translated by the CIA, making their veracity difficult to ascertain.

The shocking Voronezh case is one of the most documented and even became part of the pop culture of the time.
