Este octubre, el escritor Al Ewing y el artista Alessandro Cappuccio detallan uno de los esfuerzos más valientes de Doom para salvar a su madre mientras se enfrenta a todo el Universo Marvel en DOOM ALL-ON-ONE #1, un one-shot explosivo y lleno de acción contado íntegramente en páginas splash orientadas de manera horizontal.

"El encargo para esto eran cincuenta páginas de Doom versus Everybody en acción explosiva en pantalla ancha, y me gustaría pensar que he entregado eso y un poco más", detalla el escritor Al Ewing. "No creo que ningún fan de Doom se sienta decepcionado por la actuación del Doctor mientras volvemos a una de las grandes eras clásicas de Marvel y le damos siete campanadas, no sólo contra los héroes, sino también contra uno de los mayores villanos de Doom. Sin embargo, la verdadera estrella del espectáculo en un proyecto como este es el arte, y Alessandro ha estado a la altura del desafío con página tras página de acción total que tendrás que ver para creer".

"Trabajar en las páginas de este cómic fue un desafío ya que nunca antes había trabajado en un formato como este, por lo que fue divertido y estimulante para mí encontrar las soluciones artísticas que mejor se adaptaban a las necesidades del proyecto", explica el artista Alessandro Cappuccio. "Siempre me ha fascinado el Dr. Doom y espero que mi pasión por este personaje se transmita a los lectores a través de las páginas".
DOOM ALL-ON-ONE #1 sigue los pasos de MARVEL ALL-ON-ONE #1 de 2025 de Ryan North y Ed McGuinness, otra epopeya de 50 páginas en la que The Thing derrotó a muchos de los héroes y villanos de Marvel, y FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) #252 de John Byrne, que detalló el viaje de FF a la Zona Negativa completamente en una narración de estilo paisajístico. A diferencia de FF, Doom no tiene aliados en su viaje al infierno. Doom está completamente solo.

The Marvel Universe gets flipped on its side this October with an all-action issue told entirely in landscape-oriented splash pages.
New York, NY— June 16, 2026 — Once a year on Midsummer Eve, when the walls between worlds are thin, Doctor Doom travels to Hell to challenge Mephisto for his mother’s soul. This October, writer Al Ewing and artist Alessandro Cappuccio detail one of Doom’s most valiant efforts to save his mother as he takes on the entire Marvel Universe in DOOM ALL-ON-ONE #1, an explosive and action packed one-shot told entirely in landscape-oriented splash pages.
“The brief for this was fifty pages of Doom versus Everybody in explosive widescreen action, and I'd like to think I've delivered that and a little bit more,” details writer Al Ewing. “I don't think any Doom fans will be disappointed by the Doctor's performance as we go back to one of the great classical eras of Marvel and knock seven bells out of it - not just against the heroes, but against one of Doom's greatest villains, too. The real star of the show in a project like this is the art, though, and Alessandro's risen to the challenge with page after page of all-out action you'll have to see to believe.”
“Working on the pages of this comic was a challenge as I had never worked in a format like this before, so it was both fun and stimulating for me to find artistic solutions that best suited the project’s needs,” explains artist Alessandro Cappuccio. “I’ve always been fascinated by Dr. Doom, and I hope my passion for this character shines through the pages to the readers.”
DOOM ALL-ON-ONE #1 follows in the footsteps of 2025’s MARVEL ALL-ON-ONE #1 by Ryan North and Ed McGuinness, another 50-page epic which saw The Thing clobber many of Marvel’s heroes and villains, and FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) #252 by John Byrne, which detailed the FF’s journey into the Negative Zone entirely in landscape-style storytelling. Unlike the FF, Doom has no allies on his journey into hell. Doom is entirely on his own.
