Ghost Machine Productions lanza GEIGER en un nuevo volumen, del escritor Geoff Johns, el artista Gary Frank y el colorista Brad Anderson. Esta serie de cómics tendrá frecuencia mensual y forma parte de la primera ola de cómics de Ghost Machine Productions. La serie sigue las aventuras de Tariq Geiger, el misterioso Hombre Resplandeciente presentado por primera vez en la exitosa serie GEIGER Vol 1 de Johns y Frank, que se lanzó en 2021 y fue publicada por Image Comics. GEIGER también se está desarrollando para televisión en Paramount TV con Justin Simien como director.

Trama

Geiger apenas sale del DEPARTAMENTO DE PRESERVACIÓN HISTÓRICA es rodeado por un ejército de robots con piel humana dirigidos por THE CUSTODIAN, todos son una versión moderna de Junkyard Joe pero controlados por completo, este ejército de robots logran contener a Geifer y colocarle en su espalda las dos barras de boro.

Barney le quita la mano a The Custorian de una sola mordida. Geiger es electrocutado y pierde el conocimiento. Barney esta también encerrado en algún lugar.

Po otro lado el Doctor Molotov, Nathan, Zig-zag siguen a Junkyard Joe, quién está tras la pista de Geiger. Nathan y Molotov tienen una conversación profunda sobre el arrepentimiento. Junkyard Joe llega hasta donde tienen a Geiger atrapado.

Junkyard Joe, Nathan y el Doctor Molotov se enfrentan a este ejército de robots mientras geiger intenta quitarse las barras de Boro, pero de la nada aparece el Presidente Griffin, que destruye una pared con su mano radiactiva, Geiger le deja claro que si no le dice lo que sabe de DEPARTAMENTO DE PRESERVACIÓN HISTÓRICA se lo va a sacar por la fuerza.

Emocionante nuevo arco argumental, donde van a revelar más de este mundo gobernado por el Presidente Griffin, así como la relación entre Junkyard Joe y The Custodian.

Arte 

Gary Frank  como es de costumbre logra el balance perfecto de un arte sumamente detallado y orgánico con colores claros que no esconde nada. Es hipnotizante cada panel de cada página, cada vez que la aprecias consigues nuevos e increíbles detalles.

La rotulación de Rob Leigh es una explosión de adrenalina onomatopéyica.

Resumen

Geiger es capturado por The Custodian, pero es rescatado por la persona menos esperada, mientras Nathan, Molotov y Junkyard Joe intentan detener el ejército de The Custodian.

The road to GEIGER’s shocking anniversary issue starts here! When the Glowing Man comes face to face with an army of Junkyard Joes, he realizes the terrifying truth: These soldiers weren’t built for war. They were built to destroy nations. And even the Man of Mass Destruction might not be able to stop them. All this plus…Redcoat.

Plot

Geiger barely leaves the Department of Historic Preservation when he is surrounded by an army of robots with human skin, led by The Custodian. They are all modern versions of Junkyard Joe, but completely controlled. This army of robots manages to restrain Geiger and place the two boron rods on his back.

Barney bites off The Custodian's hand. Geiger is electrocuted and loses consciousness. Barney is also imprisoned somewhere.

Meanwhile, Dr. Molotov, Nathan, and Zig-Zag follow Junkyard Joe, who is on Geiger's trail. Nathan and Molotov have a deep conversation about regret. Junkyard Joe arrives at the location where Geiger is being held.

Junkyard Joe, Nathan, and Doctor Molotov face off against this robot army while Geiger tries to remove the boron rods, but out of nowhere, President Griffin appears and destroys a wall with his radioactive hand. Geiger makes it clear that if he doesn't tell him what he knows about the Department of Historic Preservation, he'll force it out.

An exciting new story arc will reveal more about this world ruled by President Griffin, as well as the relationship between Junkyard Joe and The Custodian.

Art

As usual, Gary Frank achieves the perfect balance of highly detailed and organic art with bright colors that don't hide anything. Every panel on every page is mesmerizing; each time you look at it, you discover new and incredible details.

Rob Leigh's lettering is an onomatopoeic explosion of adrenaline.

Summary

Geiger is captured by The Custodian, but is rescued by the least expected person, while Nathan, Molotov, and Junkyard Joe try to stop The Custodian's army.

RESEÑA EN ESPAÑOL/INGLÉS DE "ULTIMATE DE SPIDER-MAN #24 DE 24" CON SPOILERS

¿De qué viene?

¡EL FINAL! ¡Aquí está, amigos! ¡Lo último que verán de Spidey y sus amigos Ultimate, por Jonathan Hickman y Marco Checchetto! ¡Eso es todo lo que podemos contarles!

Trama

Peter sigue intentando enfrentarse a Kingpin pero no puede mover su cuerpo porque Mr Negative lo tiene controlado, pero Spider-man es inteligente y logra vencer a Mr Negative y empieza una pelea mano a mano con Kingpin.

Richard y Felicia intentan llegar a nodo para usar el dispositivo de borrado, pero son atacados por una sustancia que se adapta a sus medios, algo que el traje de Richard de nanotecnología que se comporta como Venom logra detener por el tiempo necesario.

Ben y JJJ destapan la fachada de Kingpin por lo que pierde también su imperio y Mr Negative aprovecha para hacer su jugada final que los destruye a ambos.

Harry logra una alianza con Captain Britain, uno de los líderes de The Maker, donde Mysterio suplanta a Kingpin. Harry logra hablar con Gwen y ella le dice que los Parker estarán a salvo si no se meten con The Maker, para luego desaparecer de nuevo en este fusión de conciencias con los otros Myterios. Hay que ver que ocurre en ULTIMATE ENDGAME, porque este final está totalmente abierto.

Este es el último número de esta serie, que nos trajo una de las mejores versiones evolucionadas de Peter Parker y su universo.

Arte

Está cargado de detalles geniales que explotan en tu cara apoyados con texturas sutiles y bien ubicadas, que le da un tono crudo y potente a esta historia que sacude y le da un giro realista a Spider-man.

Es orgánico y dinámico, que te hipnotiza en cada uno de los paneles.

Checchetto y Messina cierran por todo lo alto esta magnífica saga que ellos construyeron visualmente.

What does it come from?

THE END OF THE LINE! This is it, folks - the last you'll see of Spidey and his Ultimate friends by Jonathan Hickman & Marco Checchetto! That's all we can tell you!

Plot

Peter continues trying to confront Kingpin, but he can't move his body because Mr. Negative has him under his control. However, Spider-Man is clever and manages to defeat Mr. Negative, engaging Kingpin in hand-to-hand combat.

Richard and Felicia try to reach the node to use the erasure device, but they are attacked by a substance that adapts to their environment. Richard's nanotechnology suit, which behaves like Venom, manages to stop it for just long enough.

Ben and JJJ expose Kingpin's facade, causing him to lose his empire as well. Mr. Negative seizes the opportunity to make his final move, destroying them both.

Harry forms an alliance with Captain Britain, one of the leaders of The Maker, where Mysterio impersonates Kingpin. Harry manages to speak with Gwen, who tells him that the Parkers will be safe if they don't mess with The Maker, before disappearing again in this fusion of consciousness with the other Mysterios. We'll have to see what happens in Ultimate Endgame, because this ending is completely open-ended.

This is the final issue of this series, which brought us one of the best evolved versions of Peter Parker and his universe.

Art

It's packed with brilliant details that explode in your face, supported by subtle and well-placed textures, giving a raw and powerful tone to this story that shakes things up and gives Spider-Man a realistic twist.

It's organic and dynamic, mesmerizing you in every panel.

Checchetto and Messina bring this magnificent saga, which they visually crafted, to a spectacular close.

Summary

Spider-Man vs. Kingpin in an epic finale that leaves us with one of the best alternate sagas of Peter Parker.

MARVEL COMICS ANUNCIA EL FIN DEL ULTIMATE UNIVERSE

 

Recién anunciado en la Comic Con de Nueva York, el UNIVERSO ULTIMATE de Marvel Comics concluye el próximo año, poniendo fin a una serie de títulos taquilleros que revolucionaron la industria con narrativas audaces y nuevas y cautivadoras versiones de personajes icónicos.

MARVEL COMICS ANNOUNCES THE END OF THE ULTIMATE UNIVERSE

The final issues of Marvel’s new ULTIMATE UNIVERSE revealed, including ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #24, ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER #24, ULTIMATE X-MEN #24, ULTIMATES #24, and ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #16.

 

New York, NY— October 11, 2025 — Just announced at New York Comic Con, Marvel Comics’ ULTIMATE UNIVERSE concludes next year, bringing an end to a line of blockbuster titles that ignited the industry with bold storytelling and captivating new versions of iconic characters.

 

During Marvel’s Next Big Thing Panel, Head of Marvel Comics and Franchise Dan Buckley, Editor in Chief C.B. Cebulski, Senior Editor Wil Moss, Ultimates writer Deniz Camp, and Ultimate Wolverine writer Chris Condon revealed information on the final issues of all five Ultimate titles to a room of surprised fans: ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #24 in December, ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER #24 in January, ULTIMATE X-MEN #24 in February, and ULTIMATES #24 and ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #16 in April.

 

Marvel’s new Ultimate Universe began in June 2023 with Jonathan Hickman and Bryan Hitch’s Ultimate Invasion. The Maker, a dark version of Reed Richards from the original Ultimate Universe, created a world without heroes. Despite his meticulous planning, heroes like Spider-Man and the Ultimates still rose to embrace their destinies—but the trajectory of their journeys were radically altered...

 

In ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, an older, wiser Peter Parker balanced web-slinging with his responsibilities as a husband and father. In ULTIMATE X-MEN, a group of students in Japan developed strange abilities. ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER saw Khonshu go to war against the isolated nation of Wakanda. In ULTIMATES, Iron Lad built a network of heroes to restore freedom to a world ruled from the shadows. And in ULTIMATE WOLVERINE, a man named Logan is the Maker’s most lethal weapon: the Winter Soldier!

 

Ever since the beginning, the Ultimate Universe was built with a predetermined endpoint—the Maker’s return from captivity! The Maker’s release kicks off ULTIMATE ENDGAME, a five-issue event series launching in December that brings this interconnected universe together for a climactic showdown.

 

Told in real time month to month, the ULTIMATE UNIVERSE was an ambitious storytelling project that exceeded all expectations. Now, it ends on a definitive high point, delivering a complete, groundbreaking saga that can be enjoyed by comic fans for generations to come.

 

The Ultimate Universe will leave its mark on the main Marvel Universe in the way of “Origin Boxes,” the very devices the Maker used to rob legendary heroes of their powers. In ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN: INCURISON #5, on sale later this month, Miles Morales will swing back to the 616 with a handful of these boxes, setting the stage for new heroes and storylines throughout 2026.

 

“It’s hard to talk about without getting emotional,” said Camp. “It really is the culmination of everything Jonathan began. Everything from my book and everyone else’s book are all converging. It’s gonna be definitive, it’s going to be big, it’s going to be emotional, there’s going to be death…it’s just wild.”

 

“You’ll be able to take this journey—the beginning, middle, and end—and digest it for years to come and pass it on to others,” Head of Marvel Comics and Franchise Dan Buckley added.
