Los cómics que exploran la distopía futurista de Night City han inspirado e impulsado aún más la franquicia Cyberpunk 2077, y cada nuevo capítulo explora y expande el mundo que se muestra en el videojuego Cyberpunk 2077 de CD Projekt RED. Únase a Dark Horse para felicitar al equipo creativo detrás de la novela gráfica original, Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams, que ha sido reconocida con el prestigioso premio Hugo a la mejor historia gráfica o cómic. El cómic está escrito por Bartosz Sztybor, con los artistas Filipe Andrade, Alessio Fioriniello, los coloristas Roman Titov, Krzysztof Ostrowski y el artista de portada Matías Bergara.

El escritor Bartosz Sztybor dijo lo siguiente sobre el premio Hugo:
“No sé por dónde empezar, porque el Premio Hugo por Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams es algo muy importante. Es difícil de creer, pero soy el primer escritor polaco que recibe este premio y eso es importante teniendo en cuenta lo mundialmente conocidos que son los escritores polacos de fantasía y ciencia ficción (solo por mencionar a Lem, Sapkowski y Tokarczuk). También estoy extremadamente orgulloso, porque los trabajos de Tom King y Brian K. Vaughan (mis compañeros nominados) tuvieron un gran impacto en mi escritura y… así es como les estoy pagando, ¡lo siento! También muestra lo asombroso que es el universo Cyberpunk 2077, muchas gracias a Mike Pondsmith y CD Projekt RED por crear un mundo tan asombroso. Por último, pero no menos importante, estoy feliz de que Big City Dreams haya sido reconocida, porque en esencia es una historia sobre ciencia ficción, fantasía, sobre todo tipo de escapismos, la necesidad pero también el riesgo de soñar. Tomé ese riesgo, soñé y estoy feliz de que mi sueño de gran ciudad se haya hecho realidad y de haber podido obtener el Premio Hugo con el equipo más increíble del mundo: Filipe, Alessio, Roman, Krzysztof y Aditya. ¡Gracias!”
Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams ve a dos carroñeros en Night City ganándose la vida robando ciberware y participando en fiestas y bailes cerebrales. Uno busca convertirse en el gángster más famoso de la ciudad. El otro anhela algo más: significado, pertenencia, calidez... Mientras persiguen sus sueños, sus caminos comienzan a desviarse. “Don’t know where to start, because the Hugo Award for Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams is such a big thing. It’s hard to believe, but I’m the first Polish writer with this award and that’s a thing knowing how worldwide known Polish fantasy and sci-fi writers are (just to mention Lem, Sapkowski and Tokarczuk). I’m also extremely proud, cause Tom King's and Brian K. Vaughan's (my fellow nominees) works had a huge impact on my writing and… that’s how I’m repaying them, I’m sorry! It also shows how amazing Cyberpunk 2077 universe is, so big thanks to Mike Pondsmith and CD Projekt RED for creating such an amazing world. Last but not least, I’m happy that Big City Dreams was acknowledged, cause in its core, it's a story about science-fiction, fantasy, about all kinds of escapisms, the need but also the risk of dreaming.
