¿De qué viene?

En Sacred Six #1 Drago, el hijo de Lilith y hermano de Vampirella, es el alcalde de la ciudad de Ashthorne, lugar repleto de Vampiros que viven en paz con los humanos, sin embargo la ciudad vecina llamada Sacred,  no soporta que una sociedad como la de Ashthorne pueda existir, por lo que crecen las tensiones entre ambas.

¿Qué sucede?

Lilith de Drakulon sigue reclutando seres especiales, ahora es el turno de la mitad vampiro Chastity y a la nueva Draculina para ayudarla a ejecutar una agenda secreta.

Mientras tanto, Nyx, hija del dios loco Caos, está tras Lilith en busca de venganza mientras Pantha forja una tregua incómoda con el guardián de la Ciudad Sacred antes que se acabe el tiempo para encontrar a los niños desaparecidos.

Esta entrega continua narrando el proceso de reclutamiento de cada integrante. La trama se siente compleja debido a todas las subtramas que aún no convergen.

Meanwhile, Nyx, daughter of the mad god Chaos, is after Lilith in search of revenge as Pantha forges an uneasy truce with the guardian of Sacred City before time runs out to find the missing children.

This delivery continues narrating the recruitment process of each member. The plot feels complex due to all the subplots that have not yet converged.

The war between Ashthorne and Sacred is inevitable unless they manage to form a team of unique beings who avoid this confrontation

The ongoing adventures continue, from MIRKA ANDOLFO (Sweet Paprika) and GIUSEPPE CAFARO (Sacred Six)!

PLOT

Red Sonja is injured trying to save Sitha, but in reality she has a hidden power of fire with which she manages to defeat everyone. Samosh, a hermit gets both of them and heals Red Sonja while he lets Sitha have fun in an orchard.

During Sonja's recovery, Sitha felt that she had a family, but her mission was to bring her to Massentia.

Upon arriving at the Massentia place, Sitha argues with Sonja, because she does not want to leave her. Red Sonja abandons her to later discover that she was sold to a sorceress, now Sonja must rescue her from her.

This episode focuses on the close relationship that Sonja and Sitha develop, almost like mother and daughter.

It is dedicated to highlighting landscapes and moments of introspection.

¿De qué viene?

Jodie Christianson...JC... descubre un día que posee poderes parecidos a los de Jesucristo...¿Será la segunda venida de Jesus? ¿Y en América?..

Basada en la novela gráfica homónima AMERICAN JESUS escrita por Mark Millar ilustrada por Peter Gross.

Esta serie es multilingüe (español / inglés), de la mano de Everardo Gout (Marvel's Luke Cage, Sacred Lies, Mars, Banshee, Aquí En La Tierra) y Leopoldo Gout (Molly's Game, Instinct)  quienes actuarán como co-directores y productores ejecutivos en la serie. 

Trama

Esta serie de seis episodios de aproximadamente 45 minutos de duración cada uno, no se contiene en contar la historia de cómo sería la segunda llegada de Jesuscristo en 1.999 en América, en este caso en Mexico.

La historia comienza con Jodie Cristianson y sus amigos teniendo aventuras arriesgadas típica de de adolescentes de 13 años, pero un accidente hace que Jodie empiece a desarrollar poderes, que te hace pensar que esto podría ser una serie de superhéroes, pero cuando hay un giro religioso, todas sus suposiciones serán sacudidas al igual que tu fe.

Los seis capítulos se mueven en un tono de misterio y suspenso que eleva el interés por saber lo que ocurre, cuando muchos quienes rodean a Jodie tienen un secreto sobre su pasado, mientras Jodie y sus amigos quieren vivir su adolescencia e intenta aprovecharse de las circunstancias misteriosas en las que ven envueltos. 

Esta serie está basada en la trilogía de novelas gráficas American Jesus de Mark Millar y Peter Gross, esta primera temporada se basa en American Jesus Book 1 The Chosen. La manera en que Leopoldo y Everardo Gout adaptaron este cómic rinde un tributo respetuoso al material original, manteniendo la historia base y la definición de los personajes, hasta logran el giro impactante de la trama que tanto ha asombrado a lectores desde 2004.

Las actuaciones del elenco de adolescentes es genial, con especial mérito a Bobby Luhnow como Jodie y Juan Fernando González Anguamea como Tuka.

Resumen

Con misterio y suspenso, El Elegido reimagina lo que significaría el regreso de Jesucristo en el siglo XXI y las repercusiones en la fe, sin embargo nada era lo que parece.

Prepárense para una montaña rusa de emociones religiosas encontradas y sorpresas impactantes.

What does it come from?

Jodie Christianson...JC...discovers one day that she possesses powers similar to those of Jesus Christ...Will it be the second coming of Jesus? And in America?

Based on the homonymous graphic novel AMERICAN JESUS by Mark Millar and Peter Gross.

This series is multilingual (Spanish / English), by Everardo Gout (Marvel's Luke Cage, Sacred Lies, Mars, Banshee, Aquí En La Tierra) and Leopoldo Gout (Molly's Game, Instinct) who will act as co-directors and producers. executives in the series.

Plot

This series of six episodes, each lasting approximately 45 minutes, does not contain itself in telling the story of how the second arrival of Jesus Christ would be like in America in 1999, in this case in Mexico.

The story begins with Jodie Cristianson and her friends having risky adventures typical of 13-year-old teenagers, but an accident causes Jodie to start developing powers, which makes you think that this could be a superhero series, but when there is a religious twist, all your assumptions will be shaken as your faith.

The six chapters move in a tone of mystery and suspense that heightens the interest to know what happens, when many around Jodie have a secret about her past, while Jodie and her friends want to live their adolescence and try to take advantage of the strange circumstances which they are involved.

This series is based on the American Jesus trilogy of graphic novels by Mark Millar and Peter Gross, this first season is based on American Jesus Book 1 The Chosen. The way in which Leopoldo and Everardo Gout adapted this comic pays a respectful tribute to the source material, maintaining the base story and character definition, to the point of achieving the shocking plot twist that has wowed readers since 2004.

Everything is revealed in the final episode that will surely give you goosebumps, where everyone's faith is totally turned upside down and they don't know what they are dealing with.

The Gout brothers introduce Catholic religious elements and the Yaqui culture, which gives it depth and places Jodie as a new Jesus of all America.

The performances of the cast of teenagers are great, with special credit to Bobby Luhnow as Jodie and Juan Fernando González Anguamea as Tuka.

Summary

With mystery and suspense, The Chosen One reimagines what the return of Jesus Christ would mean in the 21st century and the repercussions for faith, yet nothing was as it seems. Prepare for a roller coaster of mixed religious emotions and shocking surprises.
