¿De qué viene?
El legendario escritor de INCREDIBLE HULK, Peter David nos narra el origen de la versión del futuro lejano de Hulk conocida como Maestro. Con el asombroso arte del veterano artista Dale Keown y el brillante Germán Peralta.

¿Qué sucede?
Hulk está viviendo su vida soñada con su esposa Betty y sus dos hijos Thaddeus y Rick, Hulk es un héroe respetado y sumamente eficiente, no podría tener una vida más perfecta que está...muy buena para ser real.
Hulk está por experimentar profundas decepciones, revelaciones impactantes que cambiaran la perspectiva de su vida, ya que está en una especie de animación suspendida viviendo una alucinación forjada por M.O.D.O.K con A.I.M por años, quien se encuentra visiblemente envejecido, es claro que Hulk también lleva años en este lugar acompañado de seres como Abominación.
Pero ¿Qué sucedió?...la Tercera Guerra Mundial entre EE.UU y Rusia, una guerra nuclear incitada por un grupo terrorista que acabó con la humanidad. Estos eventos a su vez despiertan lo peor de nosotros y surge una secta criminal llamada Black Scythe...que estaban convencidos en que la humanidad debe acabar y lanzan un ataque químico alrededor del mundo para terminar de exterminarnos.
El plan de M.O.D.O.K era rescatar a todos aquellos seres que se benefician con la radiación de las bombas atómicas para luego reclutarlos y reconstruir el mundo, el detalle es que Hulk ya no quiere reconstruir una humanidad que se autodestruyo.
Hulk analiza que los héroes nunca pudieron detener ninguna catástrofe como Chernobyl, las Torres Gemelas o los Tiroteos en las Escuelas, por lo que se convence de que la humanidad no necesita héroes, necesita ser salva de sí misma.
Este cómic muestra el mundo cruel al cual Hulk se debe enfrentar, su soledad determinará sus próximas decisiones, donde Bruce Banner no formará parte, solo Hulk.
Es una primera entrega llena de acción, emoción y mucho drama, los fanáticos más leales quedarán satisfechos y estupefactos, mientras los nuevos lectores se engancharan al instante, este comic es el perfecto punto de partida.
Arte y Trama
Las primeras diez páginas del cómic son ilustradas por el experimentado ilustrador de Dale Keown, las veinte siguientes se encargó German Peralta. Algunas veces es extraño o molesto leer un comic cuando incluye varios artistas, pero en este caso Keown y Peralta forman una sinergia artística perfecta, logran un magnífico arte juntos.
Peter David de nuevo demuestra el completo dominio y amplio conocimiento que tiene sobre este personaje, se destaca con una historia adictiva e hipnotizante, de la que no podrán dejar de leer, Peter David empieza a crear una obra maestra instantánea.
La página splash de la ciudad de Los Angeles destruida, así como el rediseño que Hulk le da al letrero de Hollywood son épicos.

Where does it come from?
The legendary INCREDIBLE HULK writer Peter David tells us about the origin of the far-future version of the Hulk known as Maestro. Featuring the amazing art of veteran artist Dale Keown and the brilliant Germán Peralta.
This series will answer questions that have plagued fans for decades about the fall of civilization and the rise of Maestro.How was the world destroyed and Maestro emerged? What happened to the heroes of the world? And where is the Hulk that we know and love?
What's going on?
The Hulk is living his dream life with his wife Betty and their two sons Thaddeus and Rick, the Hulk is a highly efficient and respected hero, he couldn't have a more perfect life ... too good to be true.
The Hulk is about to experience deep disappointments, shocking revelations that will change the perspective of his life, since he is in a kind of suspended animation living a hallucination forged by MODOK with AIM for years, who is visibly aged, it is clear that the Hulk has also been years in this place accompanied by beings like Abomination.
But what happened? ... the Third World War between the US and Russia, a nuclear war incited by a terrorist group that wiped out humanity. These events awaken the worst in us and a criminal sect called Black Scythe arises ... who were convinced that humanity must end and launch a chemical attack around the world to finish exterminating us.
M.O.D.O.K's plan was to rescue all those beings that benefit from the radiation of the atomic bombs and then recruit them and rebuild the world, the thing is that the Hulk no longer wants to rebuild a self-destructive humanity,
Hulk analyzes that the heroes could never stop any catastrophe like Chernobyl, the World Trade CenterTowers or the Shootings in the Schools, so he is convinced that humanity does not need heroes, it needs to be saved from itself.
This comic shows what cruel world the Hulk must face, his loneliness will determine his next decisions, where Bruce Banner will not be a part of, only the Hulk.

Art and Plot
The first ten pages of the comic are illustrated by experienced illustrator Dale Keown, the next twenty were commissioned by Peralta. Sometimes it's strange to read a comic when it includes several artists, but in this case Keown and Peralta form a perfect artistic synergy, they achieve a magnificent art together.
Peter David again demonstrates the complete mastery and extensive knowledge he has about this character with an addictive and hypnotizing story, of which you will not be able to stop reading, Peter David introduce us an instant masterpiece.
