El 18 de marzo de 2020 la nueva editorial de cómics Artists, Writers & Artisans, integrada por Axel Alonso (Ex Editor en Jefe de Marvel Comics) y Bill Jemas (Ex Vice Presidente de Marvel Comics), quienes fungen como CCO y Editor respectivamente.
¿De qué viene?
Ben Percy (Wolverine) y Ramon Rosanas (Star Wars: Age of Resistance) se unen para presentar una historia épica que ofrece una visión global del Apocalipsis Zombie. Un asesino a sueldo japonés, un bandido de la calle mexicano, un ayudante militar afgano, un científico investigador en los polos de la tierra, un superviviente del medio oeste estadounidense, en total cinco sobrevivientes de una horrible epidemia mundial que deben aprovechar sus habilidades únicas y sus más profundos instintos para navegar en un mundo de muertos en guerra. Year Zero lucha con las pesadas cuestiones morales y teológicas planteadas por la pandemia e investiga su causa y posible cura.
¿Qué sucede?
El cómic sigue narrando por separado estas cinco historias de personajes muy diferentes que deben enfrentarse a algo inimaginable, poco a poco los vamos conociendo un poco más.
Sara Lemons-Ártico: Sara presencia el primer ataque de un zombie que ella misma sin querer descongelo, en plena tormenta de nieve que los dejó incomunicados con el mundo, para poder pedir ayuda.
Daniel Martínez - México: Daniel está por acabar con sus captores la Vieja y el Hombre con el tatuaje de Jaguar, toda su vida su existencia ha pasado desapercibida por lo que es una habilidad muy importante para poder controlar hordas de zombies.
Saga Watanabe- Tokyo: se encuentra con su mentor Hideo Nakamura líder máximo de los Yakuza, va a vengar a Akari, la manera en que realiza su asalto al cuartel general es magnífica, es un guerrero experto en todo tipo de combate.
Fatema Shah- Kabul: intenta salvar a un equipo de mujeres que han sido maltratadas y abusadas durante toda sus vida en Afganistán, pero esta país en guerra tiene trampas en todas las esquinas.
B.J Hool-Burnsville- Minnesota: BJ se obsesionó con una mujer llamada Anna con la que tuvo largas conversaciones por radio, sin embargo no sabe la sorpresa que se va a llevar.
Anécdota Histórica
Aquí muestran las memorias del Doctor Gerald Butterfield, que narra cómo cuando los ferrocarriles se instalaron en el oeste de EE.UU, llenaron los vagones de zombies que luego liberaron poco a poco en todas las zonas controladas por los aborígenes americanos.
Arte y Trama
Este universo creado por Percy y Rosanas es sumamente interesante, donde los personajes brillan en casa una de sus apariciones, con todos te puedes identificar.
Resumen
Pronto los cinco sobrevivientes de este apocalipsis se enfrentarán un reto mayor que los zombies.

Ben Percy (Wolverine) and Ramon Rosanas (Star Wars: Age of Resistance) team up to present an epic tale that offers a global look at the Zombie Apocalypse. A Japanese hitman, a Mexican street urchin, an Afghan military aide, a Polar research scientist, a midwestern American survivalist – five survivors of a horrific global epidemic who must draw upon their unique skills and deepest instincts to navigate a world of shambling dead. Year Zero wrestles with the weighty moral and theological questions posed by the pandemic and investigates its cause and possible cure.
What's going on?The comic continues to narrate separately these five stories of very different characters who must face something unimaginable, little by little we are getting to know them a little bit more.
Sara Lemons-Arctic: Sara witnesses the first attack of a zombie that she unintentionally defrosted, in the middle of a snowstorm that left them incommunicado with the rest of the world, in order to ask for help.
Daniel Martínez - Mexico: Daniel is about to finish off his captors the Old Woman and the Man with the Jaguar tattoo, his entire life has gone unnoticed, which is why it is a very important ability to control hordes of zombies.
Saga Watanabe - Tokyo: he meets his mentor Hideo Nakamura, the maximum leader of the Yakuza, he is going to avenge Akari, the way in which he carries out his assault on the headquarters is magnificent, he is an expert warrior in all types of combat.
Fatema Shah - Kabul: she is trying to save a team of women who have been mistreated and abused throughout their lives in Afghanistan, but this country at war has traps on every corner.
B.J Hool-Burnsville - Minnesota: BJ became obsessed with a woman named Anna with whom he had long conversations on the radio, however he does not know what surprise he will get.
Historical anecdote
Here they show the memoirs of Doctor Gerald Butterfield, who tells how when the railroads were installed in the western United States, they filled the wagons with zombies that they then released little by little in all the areas controlled by the American aborigines.
Art and Plot
This universe created by Percy and Rosanas is extremely interesting, where the characters shine at home one of their appearances, with everyone you can identify.
Summary
Soon the five survivors of this apocalypse will face a greater challenge than the zombies.
