¿De qué viene?

Trama
Mientras Cece y Lucinda le reclaman a Earl que debe tratar mejor al padre de Cece, Mark le explica las reglas de su competencia a Daniel, que son sencillas, ninguno traiciona al otro con la policía, no interferir y no asesinarse entre ellos.
Mark revela que no puede matar a su esposa porque es justamente lo que hace funcionar su obsesión asesina. En ese momento las noticias revelan que el Ladykiller asesinó a dos mujeres subiendo su récord a 43, mientras Home Intruder lleva solo 42. Mark se ríe y le deja una nota en el carro de Cece como el Ladykiller diciendo que debe anunciar en su podcast esta competencia.
Daniel y Cece se gustan y empiezan a compartir secretos de sus padres, pobre Cece, no sabe con quién habla. Por otro lado el padre de Cece intenta protegerla pero su alcoholismo no le da descanso y sigue siendo el hazmereir por nunca haber encontrado al primer asesino en serie hace años cuando era el Sheriff.
Ambos asesinos siguen aumentando sus muertes, compiten de manera cruel y algo descuidada, Ladykiller llega a 47 muertes y Home Intruder a 45. Pero la suerte de ambos termina cuando Mark le chocan su carro y la policía ve el contenido de su maleta, mientras Daniel cae en la trampa del F.B.I
Esta entrega muestra el final de esta competencia pero, apenas van por la mitad de la historia, definitivamente este comic mejora con cada entrega, la actitud engreída de Mark vs la introspección de Daniel, en una dinámica genial y super entretenida, con muchas secuencias escalofriantes.
Arte
Posee un tono interesante noir de los cómics de la década de 1980/1990, donde juega con las sombras y paleta de colores que resaltan la violencia de estos asesinos, en momentos es lúgubre y luego lleno de iluminación, es una montaña rusa de suspenso.
Resumen
Mark y Daniel comienza su competencia y aumentan sus números de víctimas en una ciudad hundida en el terror y un escuadron de policia que no logra atraparlos, pero un error va a cambiar todo.
Escalofriante, emocionante y perturbador segundo capítulo, esta es una nueva obra de culto instantánea.

Learn more about our awful killers Mark Christopher Ewing and Daniel Dodson and their grotesque activities as we enter a frightening game of cat-and-mouse between killers and police in the exciting second issue of THOSE NOT AFRAID.

Plot
While Cece and Lucinda complain to Earl that he should treat Cece's father better, Mark explains the rules of their competition to Daniel, which are simple: neither betrays the other to the police, no interference, and no murdering each other.
Mark reveals that he can't kill his wife because that's exactly what makes his murderous obsession work. At that moment, the news reveals that the Ladykiller murdered two women, raising his record to 43, while Home Intruder only has 42. Mark laughs and leaves a note on Cece's car as the Ladykiller saying that she should announce this competition on her podcast.
Daniel and Cece like each other and start sharing secrets about their parents, poor Cece, she doesn't know who she's talking to. On the other hand, Cece's father tries to protect her but his alcoholism doesn't give him any rest and he continues to be the laughing stock for never having found the first serial killer years ago when he was the Sheriff.
Both killers continue to increase their kills, they compete in a cruel and somewhat careless way, Ladykiller reaches 47 kills and Home Intruder 45. But the luck of both ends when Mark's car is crashed and the police see the contents of his suitcase, while Daniel falls into the FBI's trap
This issue shows the end of this competition but, they are barely halfway through the story, this comic definitely improves with each issue, Mark's cocky attitude vs Daniel's introspection, in a great and super entertaining dynamic, with many chilling sequences.
Art
It has an interesting noir tone from the comics of the 1980s/1990s, where it plays with the shadows and color palette that highlight the violence of these killers, at times it is gloomy and then full of illumination, it is a roller coaster of suspense.
Summary
Mark and Daniel begin their competition and their number of victims increases in a city sunk in terror and a police squad that fails to catch them, but a mistake will change everything.
Chilling, exciting and disturbing second chapter, this is a new instant cult work.
