¿De Qué viene?
El ganado sigue desapareciendo y aparecen vaqueros decapitados mientras Carmen intensifica su investigación sobre la supuesta maldición del rancho local.
La escritora y artista Rae Allen (El Diablo de Manderfield, El Pueblo de los Millones de Ojos) se une al universo de Hellboy en esta aventura paranormal del oeste ambientada en el Nuevo México de la década de 1870.

Trama
Carmen Daschier/Red Claw rechaza la insistente propuesta de compra de su rancho Red Claw del Barón de los Trenes y su sobrino que carga encima a un bebé algo raro, ellos alegan que el terreno está maldito. El día siguiente aparecen más vacas muertas y vaqueros decapitados, Carmen está segura que el Barón está detrás de todo.
El lagarto Yargoss que acompaña a Carmen no para de decirle que ella debe matar a todas las personas con quien habla y le ofrece atacar a los lobos gigantes, porque al parecer tiene un poder oculto.
Carmen confronta al Barón en el bar y son atacados por lobos gigantes, es cuando ella descubre que hay muchas vacas en un tren y se sube para investigar.
Esta historia se ambienta en 1867, por lo que mezcla spaghetti western con misterios sobrenatural en un perfecto balance.
Arte
Es un arte con una influencia inocente, pero con trazos fuertes, que logra excelentes momentos de terror y presenta con genialidad este ambiente de Western. Las delineaciones faciales cambian con la edad de los personajes, lo cual otorga una idea de las edades y de lo que han vivido.

What does it come from?
Cattle are still disappearing and cowboys are turning up without heads as Carmen ramps up her investigation of the supposed curse on the local ranch land.
Writer/artist Rae Allen (The Manderfield Devil, Town with a Million Eyes) joins the Hellboy universe in this paranormal western adventure set in 1870s New Mexico territory!

Plot
Carmen Daschier/Red Claw rejects the persistent offer to buy her Red Claw Ranch from the Railroad Baron and his nephew, who is carrying a strangely unusual baby. They claim the land is cursed. The next day, more dead cattle and decapitated cowboys turn up. Carmen is certain the Baron is behind it all.
Yargoss, the lizard accompanying Carmen, keeps telling her she must kill everyone she talks to and offers to attack giant wolves, because he apparently possesses a hidden power.
Carmen confronts the Baron in the saloon, and they are attacked by giant wolves. It is then that she discovers a large number of cattle on a train and boards it to investigate.
This story is set in 1867, so it blends spaghetti western with supernatural mysteries in perfect balance.
Artwork
The art has an innocent influence, but with strong lines, achieving excellent moments of terror and brilliantly presenting this Western atmosphere. The characters' facial features change with age, giving a sense of their ages and experiences.
Summary
Carmen investigates the connection between dead cattle and a mysterious Railway Baron.
