¿De dónde viene?

¡KISS Comics están de vuelta! Dynamite presenta con orgullo lo mejor, porque querías lo mejor ... ¡KISS en "Phantom Obsession"!

Darius Cho es el hombre más rico que existe y el más solitario. Para muchos, es un fantasma, un fantasma ... mientras que otros creen que no existe y que en realidad es la fachada de un laberinto de empresas y consorcios. ¡La verdad es que existe y es fanático de KISS! KISS es contratado por Cho para tocar en una fiesta privada y, a partir de ahí, la obsesión de Cho ocupa un lugar central y es la lucha de la vida de la banda.

Trama

La banda completa viaja en avión privado del multimillonario Darius Cho, que a pesar de su fama es desconocido y muchos mitos giran en torno a quién  es, dicen que es un fantasma que tiene tecnología de un ovni que consiguió en el Amazonas.

Pero algo raro ocurre, ya que el avión que lleva a la banda no tiene ventanas, son pantallas que no les permite saber a donde fueron.

Al llegar conocen el espectacular recinto donde van a tocar, inmediatamente empieza el concierto y desde un lugar remoto analizan a todos los integrantes de la banda, porque creen que algo poderoso tienen en su interior y son probados, de repente todos adquieren superpoderes.

El cómic es una mezcla de misterio, acción, música y posiblemente Kaijus.

Arte

Posee elementos de manga y comic occidental.

Where does it come from?

KISS Comics are back! Dynamite Proudly presents the best, because you wanted the best... KISS in "Phantom Obsession"!

Darius Cho is the richest man in existence and the most reclusive. To many, he's a ghost, a phantom... whilst other believe he doesn't exist and is actually a front for a maze of companies and consortiums. Truth is, he does exist and he's a KISS fan! KISS are hired by Cho to play a private party and from there, Cho's obsession takes center stage and it's the fight of the band's life!

PLOT

The entire gang travels in the private plane of billionaire Darius Cho, who despite his fame is unknown and many myths revolve around who he is, they say that he is a ghost that has technology from a UFO that he got in the Amazon .

But something strange happens, since the plane that takes the band does not have windows, they are screens that do not allow them to know where they went.

Upon arrival they know the spectacular venue where they are going to play, the concert immediately begins and from a remote place they analyze all the members of the band, because they believe that they have something powerful inside and they are tested, suddenly they all acquire superpowers.

The comic is a mix of mystery, action, music, and possibly Kaijus.

Art

It has elements of manga and western comic.

Esta banda legendaria se hizo famosa en al década de 1970 y 1980, siendo inspiración para varias generaciones, construyendo una gran franquicia.

Este cómic es para lectores maduros y colecciona del #1 al #5 de KISS BLOOD AND STARDUST.

¿De qué viene?

Lilith, reina demonio del infierno, les ordena Kiss a detener al famoso cantante de rock Derek Crowley, porque Crowley es un vampiro con una agenda de destrucción que traicionó a Lilith. Deben salvar a Alicia, es la clave de todo.

¿Qué sucede?

Kiss se enfrenta a este monstruo pero apenas conocen cómo usar los poderes que le otorgó la demonio Lilith, por lo que la pelea está algo desbalanceada hasta que en el momento final logran saber qué hacer, excelente giro en la trama donde la banda se une en un solo mega demonio.

Derek Crowley aunque pierde esta batalla está listo para enfrentarse a Lilith en una batalla de bandas, con esta guerra cierra esta historia.

Arte y trama

De nuevo felicitamos el nivel artístico de este cómic, impresionante atención a los detalles, es la principal razón de tener esta colección, la trama es algo predecible pero intensa, con muchas referencias a las letras de las canciones de esta mega banda de rock.

Calidad e la Edición

Tiene una gran calidad de impresión y orden  e incluye al final TODAS las portadas alternas de los 5 cómics que incluye, donde hay trabajos espectaculares de Stuart Sayger con varias que hicieron conectadas.

Resumen

Este primer arco de Kiss Blood and Stardust posee un arte espectacular pero la historia es algunas veces lenta y predecible y deja abierto a próximos volúmenes.

This legendary band became famous in the decade of 1970 and 1980, being inspiration for several generations and biulded a huge franchise.

This comic is for mature readers and collects from # 1 to # 5 of KISS BLOOD AND STARDUST.

Where does it come from?

Lilith, hell demon queen, orders Kiss to stop the famous rock singer Derek Crowley, because Crowley is a vampire with an agenda of destruction that betrayed Lilith. They must save Alicia, it is the key to everything.

What's going on?

Kiss faces this monster but they barely know how to use the powers granted by the demon Lilith, so the fight is somewhat unbalanced until in the final moment they manage to know what to do, excellent twist in the plot where the band joins in a single mega demon.

Although Derek Crowley loses this battle, he is ready to face Lilith in a battle of bands, with this war he closes this story.



Art and plot

Again we congratulate the artistic level of this comic, impressive attention to detail, is the main reason for having this collection, the plot is somewhat predictable but intense, with many references to the lyrics of the songs of this mega rock band.

Quality and Edition

It has a great quality of print and order and includes at the end the alternate covers of the 5 comics that it includes, where there are spectacular works of Stuart Sayger with several that made connected.

Summary

This first arc of Kiss Blood and Stardust has a spectacular art but the story is sometimes slow and predictable and leaves open to future volumes.

Jay es un joven con una mala racha financiera y personal, acaba de perder su empleo y es atropellado cuando andaba en su moto, esto lo transporta a un mundo extraño, como un infierno, donde conoce a Mania, esta joven le presenta a su padre (adoptivo) un demonio cuya guitarra y espada de inmortalidad fueron robadas por 4 personajes....¡La Banda Kiss!.

Jay y Mania están detrás de la banda en su gira mundial de conciertos tratando de quitarles la espada.

¿Qué sucede?

Ya están el año 1983, en Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, Jay le dan una nueva oportunidad de obtener la espada, están esperando el concierto de la noche para ir al camerino a robar esta arma.

El cómic posee muchos parlamentos en portugués divertidos, Amy Chu hizo un buen trabajo de investigación al respecto.

Este cómic es interesante porque va llevando la historia de esta banda a traves de sus conciertos y canciones.

Arte y trama

El arte de este cómic está cargado de detalles y es muy prolijo, un deleite visual.

Resumen

Obtener la espada de la inmortalidad no será tan fácil para Jay y Mania.

Where does it come from?

Jay is a young man with a financial and personal slump, he has just lost his job and is run over when riding on his motorcycle, he is transported to a strange world, like an hell, where he meets Mania, this young woman introduces him to his father (adopted) a demon whose guitar and sword of immortality were stolen by 4 characters .... The Kiss Band!.

Jay and Mania are behind the band in their world tour of concerts trying to take away the sword.

What's going on?

The year is already 1983, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Jay is given a new opportunity to get the sword, they are waiting for the concert of the night to go to the dressing room to steal this weapon.

The comic has many funny Portuguese speeches, Amy Chu did a good job of researching it.

This comic is interesting because it is taking the history of this band through their concerts and songs.

Art and Plot

The art of this comic is loaded with details and is very neat, a visual delight.

Summary

Obtaining the sword of immortality will not be so easy for Jay and Mania.

Para que ocurra una guerra de bandas es necesario que Alicia supere sus miedos y prepare su voz.

Derek por otro lado invoca al demonio que lo ha protegido para que le ayude a vencer a Lilith y a sus protectores.

El arte de esta entrega mantiene la calidad que ha trae desde el #1 sin embargo la historia termina de manera apresurada.

Resumen

Este primer arco de Kiss Blood and Stardust cierra con un arte espectacular y deja abierto a próximos volúmenes.

In KISS BLOOD AND STARDUST # 4 Alicia is the key to stop Derek, Lilith will train her to use her singing. Kiss on the other hand are her protectors.


This comic closes the first story arc.

What's going on?

A battle is about to happen, and it is necessary that Alicia overcome her fears and prepare her voice.

Derek on the other hand invokes the demon that has protected him to help him defeat Lilith and her protectors.

The art of this comic maintains the quality that has brought from # 1 however the story ends hastily.

Summary

This first arc of Kiss Blood and Stardust closes with a spectacular art and leaves open to future volumes.
