Synopsis
Meet Thomas Noble Townsend III, the Trillion Dollar Kid. Money can’t buy everything but for a teen with unlimited resources and wealth, the unbelievable is never out of reach.

On a search for those across the world who possess remarkable and sometimes unconceivable abilities and origins, Tommy’s adventures begin as his hunt leads him to a pair of cosmic youngsters destined to rule heaven and hell, and a family from the far future hiding in our present.

But as Tommy unlocks more of the unimaginable, will it lead him to what he’s really searching for on this quest?

Plot
Thomas Noble Townsend is the first trillionaire (meaning he possesses a million million), and he is barely thirteen years old, thanks to a new adhesive bandage formula developed by his parents' company.

Although he comes from a humble background, Thomas wants to bring happiness to the world through his bold projects and ideas; however, his parents had been keeping secret the existence of extraordinary beings they called "The Unbelievables."

Thomas does not yet realize that he can never make everyone happy.

But Thomas's parents and sister mysteriously vanish, and the only clue might lie with one of those extraordinary beings they had been investigating.

Thomas lives in a world of technology far ahead of its time; yet, despite all his resources, he remains in the dark about what happened to his family. Consequently, he sets out to visit Hornsby and Halo first, followed by the Rocketfellers.

This comic expands the *Family Odysseys* universe by introducing various extraordinary beings who will reappear in future installments and new series—stories in which the mystery of Thomas's parents' disappearance conceals a dangerous conspiracy.

"The Trillion Dollar Kid" is undoubtedly a charismatic character, yet he wears a metaphorical mask before the world to hide his personal loss.

Art
The style is naive and caricatured, yet full of dynamism; facial expressions and body language drive a magnificent narrative.

Sinopsis:

Synopsis

In 1929, six friends were called to a mysterious island and returned home with super-powers. The story that unfolded is like none before, a huge mythological tale that explores everything from superheroes enforcing their real-world politics on humanity to the secret, alien origins of the human race itself. Jupiter’s Legacy covers three generations of heroes in a vast trilogy that has been described as The Lord of the Rings for superheroes. Featuring stunning art and designs from co-creator Frank Quitely and interior art by Wilfredo Torres.

A sales smash when originally released, this series was also adapted into a huge $100 million adaptation for Netflix. Every once in a while, there’s a defining superhero project from Dark Knight to Watchmen to The Ultimates and The Authority and Jupiter’s Legacy belongs in this milieu. Millar has described it as the best work of his entire career and this first volume is a Hollywood Babylon for the superheroes of the Golden Age.

Plot
This volume takes us back in time to the 1930s and 1960s, the golden age of superhero comics. It chronicles the exploits of the world's first superhero team, led by Sheldon Sampson/Utopian and his family. They must maintain a double life, combining the altruism of being an impeccable public figure with their private lives filled with common problems, such as sexual preferences, which were taboo at the time, and how politics interfered to take power away from this team.

Human nature manifests among these heroes, and professional jealousy causes a stark divide, where Skyfox, Utopian's best friend, decides to go the opposite way.

It's a love letter to the narrative and visual language of comics from those decades, but it touches on mature themes and prepare us for the painful future of the Sampson family.

Rating 5 out of 5

Art
It portrays the comics of the era in a lighthearted way, yet manages to touch on themes not intended for children. It also establishes a universe similar to that of animated series like the Super Friends. There are many artistic visions in these volumes, offering an eclectic feel that pays homage to all the comics from the 1960s and 1970s.

What does it come from?

Another unique book in Mad Cave's series of English print releases from Italian publisher Becco Giallo and Comixology Originals. Nikola Tesla follows two friends and collaborators making a film about the famous inventor's life—and debating, between themselves, the very merits of that reputation. Sardonic and honest, this graphic novel is a refreshing reflection on the extraordinary changes to modern culture since Tesla's era, as well as a fascinating insight into the turbulent life of the 'mad genius.' Who was Nikola Tesla? A brilliant inventor or a visionary uncoupled from his time? In this fictionalized exploration of his life, two filmmakers set out to settle the debate. Growing up in poverty in the mid-19th century under the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Tesla studied and became an engineer on his own strength. He emigrated to America, where he was employed in the laboratory of the famous Thomas Edison, the inventor of the phonograph and the light bulb. But corruption and competition among Tesla's colleagues—chief among them Edison himself—led to the 'War of Currents,' a heated race for control of the world electricity market. Tesla came out on top of that race, but a strange and tragic confluence of events and prejudices led to his public downfall. With more than two hundred different patents and inventions over his lifetime, including the remote control and fluorescent lighting, Tesla is remembered today as one of the most important innovators in modern history. Sergio Rossi and Giovanni Scarduelli's funny, heartfelt retelling speaks not only to the inventor's legacy, but to our relationship with technology and the very concept of 'genius.'

Plot
This graphic novel tells the story of this perhaps misunderstood genius, ahead of his time, from various perspectives, always highlighting his influence on science and culture in general.

With touches of light comedy, it connects key moments in this genius's life to our present day. It's a light and highly educational way to learn about his life.

Artwork
Including several original patents, the art resembles a creative sketch, where everything is in black and white, giving it a vintage feel.

Summary
The life of the genius Nikola Tesla is narrated through his cultural and contemporary impact.

Synopsis
Dark and bloody family secrets are spilled as The Rocketfellers' world of the 25th century is explored in the second chapter of the time-traveling tale, finally answering the big questions: Why does the future family hide in the present? Why is Roland's sister Raina hunting her family, and letting her own mother die? How does this fractured family pick up the pieces of their shattered lives? The answer to the last one will shock you! Collects THE ROCKETFELLERS #7-12

Plot
This volume explores Raina's origins. Jacob owns Cronex, the largest and most powerful corporation of the 25th century, and his fiancée is Raina, sister of Roland and Reggie. She is in charge of the company's security: a lethal, highly efficient soldier and expert in industrial espionage.

Raina maintains a complex relationship with everyone, especially Roland, the lead scientist developing Cronex's nanotechnology, capable of curing diseases, healing wounds, and prolonging life. Although Roland fears the ethical implications of this advancement, Raina constantly pressures him to complete his project.

After a horrific accident leaves them on the brink of death, Roland is forced to cross all his ethical boundaries to save Raina and Jacob. Upon awakening, Jacob threatens Roland, saying he will force him to complete his treatment and kidnap his family. In response, Roland and Rachel gather Rae, Richie, and Rodney to escape to the past through the Time Zone Witness Program, a witness protection program run by Roland's brother, Reggie.

On Halloween night, Raina finally discovers her family's time-traveling location and attacks them. Roland agrees to leave with her on the condition that she doesn't harm anyone, but Raina, desperate to save herself and Jacob, is prepared to kill anyone necessary.

To return to the 25th century, Roland modifies Richie's exoskeleton with the promise of finishing their cures there using this unethical technology. However, it's all a trap: Roland causes the exoskeleton to explode with them inside, leaving Roland's own fate hanging in the balance.

A spectacular volume, packed with emotion, suspense, and chases, with a breathtaking ending.

Full of details and many textures that provide an interesting and mesmerizing organic effect, all this achieves a futuristic and somewhat terrifying tone.
